In my case, i thought my charger got malfunction. But i let it charged my NS, via docker for more then 6 Hours. First check, screen still blank, not working at all. But popping the SD card out, hold power ON for more then 10 sec, my NS light up shows 100% charged.
I just got my first switch for christmas and already have an issue. Sometimes When i put my switch into the dock it doesnt turn green or do anything but the screen stays on and doesnt charge the only way to fix it is to unplug the cord and plug it back in then the green light shows and it charged
I have a similar problem but the dock doesn’t charge my switch at all and the green light is always off if you can help I would be glad, also I tried a way to fix it but it didn’t work idk if I did it wrong or perhaps I did it right
Mine does exactly the same, I bought the NS Oled two months ago and it worked properly one month after that it, the dock started blinking. I have to unplug the dock many times and then it would work on tv. But my switch works good is just the dock
For me, my problem is that my switch does charge when it's on the dock, but it won't project on the TV. Before the dock would be blinking green but anymore. But it still won't display on the TV. Any solutions?
I have now the same exact problem. My switch was at 0% for month and after i tried to charge it in my dock, there came the same issue. Is there any fix now for this problem?
I've had a similiar problem, my switch didn't flash, but just blinked once. If u hold the power button down for about 30 seconds the switch kind of resets and after powering on it worked in my case. I hope this helps someone having this issue.
Same thing is happening to me too. I tried that and it has't worked. Also it ran out of batter and I have ben charging it without the dock but it just isn't gaining battery. it says its charging though
My dock is blinking just the way yours did, but without the console. Even if i just plug the AC adapter to it it starts blinking nonstop. If I try plugging hdmi and also the Switch, it doesn't output to the TV, keeps blinking. AC adapter is fine, the Switch is charging directly with it, the problem is just the dock apparently :(
Mine had the same issue just happen. My guess is something got fried in the actual port motherboard/wtf that junction is called. My guess is it's probably going to just be easier and cheaper to buy a new port
Mine is doing this. Tried it on two official docks both flash green and do not charge or connect to the TV. But for me it still charges with the original cable plugged directly into it.
Sounds like what happened to me exactly. Since then I've found out that it's an issue with the usb c connection for some reason it decides it isn't connecting enough. So the only way to fix it is 1. Send it into nintendo and pay $100 or more. Or have a third party repair replace the usbc port entirely
broooo so first my handheld screen stops working entirely (it just literally will not display at all, yes i have tried every single “fix” for it online but its still black) and now my dock won’t register either. thank god i have a lite aswell and might get the OLED model but this is sooo annoying. After looking around you cant ether a 3rd party to fix it. Do it yourself or pay nintendo 100 dollars. They will ethed fix it or send a new one. Which is what they did to mine.
