One of Stevie's...and Motown's...BEST! The Funk Brothers and the Andantes collaborate perfectly! Видеоклипы
Very sad to read that John Perrone, the talented man who put this channel together died from Covid on April 5, 2020. . A great loss, thank you so much for your work over the past 8 years. Much respect. xxxxx
RIP Mister Perrone. Thank you for these wonderful remixes.
Wow, I didn't know that! I literally adored his work on this channel. It was so precious. Truly sad. 😔
Mostogsm he left a legacy
So sorry to hear this. I just found this channel. Loving these extended versions
Oh that's too bad. I just found this channel today. Do you know if he has any explanation of his process of extending and such? Wondering if is from raw tracks or cut/pasting bars or what?
Rest In Paradise Mr. Perrone. The work you done will be on RUclips for all to enjoy. My Condolences to The Perrone Family.
now THIS IS REAL MUSIC.
Growing up in Detroit in the '60's we took it all for granted. The Funk Brothers, the Andantes, the song writers, the lead artists, everything. It was beyond exceptional, beyond words, and we never realized how incredible it would sound a half a century later.
Well said👍👍
Indeed! Still here in Detroit. Had I not lived through some of it, I wouldn't believe it ever happened!
I may not have been lucky enough to be there but right across the border we were jamming out in Milwaukee, Wi.
so true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love this comment ❤️ ❤️
There is some serious horn work in this song. First class.
FUNK BROTHERS feat. Stevie Wonder it's all right !! baby !!!!!
Those trumpets and trombones.... And that little hint of Baby, I Need your Lovin'.
Sure is a hint of baby I need your loving. Just caught that.
Happy Birthday to Stevie Wonder Blessings and Hugs 💖💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕!
Wow! Never realized The Andantes were on this track also!!
I love these extended versions. It really gets you into the music.
i just grew up with motown music, but for what stevie did lack you have to totally admire that he had such a raw talent to not be held back
They don't make it not quite like this anymore! MOTOWN FOREVER!
Two things
1). Has there ever been a band that did it any better than the Funk Brothers?
2). Its possible that we may never see young people ages 12-18 that are able to successfully make quality innocent music like this ever again.
Stevie is only 16 yrs old here....genius
Little Stevie is & was a Wonder. Mr. Stevie Wonder is a Musical God, a Ledgend.
great sound the famous drum lick , james jamerson and mike terry nothing can top it to me.... The Funk Brothers... xx
I love the 60's music i was born July 13 1967 I'll listen 2 the. 60's music everyday keeping it real
He was amazing here in 1967, 68. What he went on to do in the 70s is beyond belief. The Funk Brothers brought it every single time, truly created a timeless soundtrack. I love going back and listening to and watching these gems!
Stevie was icing on the cake to this bands sound......
Stevie is a gift from the Soul Gods
This was one of the few songs that I remembered as a little kid that played continuously in our house throughout the mid to late 1960s. I really love the extended version of this video song, as it brilliantly captures almost every aspect of this masterpiece, besides Stevie's great singing voice: the beautiful angelic harmony of the back-up singers (The Andantes), the great musicianship of the Funk Brothers, the photos of what it looked like back in the 60's when they were recording this song almost made me feel I was back home in that rustbelt city of the Midwest. Back then, things were hopping and popping before the auto industry started laying off people and closing many of their plants.
Kick Ass , Little Stevie Wonder and CREW.Exellent
Having lived in Detroit when all this took place was one word Fan-tas-tic! You see, every time a new release came out I'd hear it because I worked as a shoe shone boy next to the record shop and Mary who worked there would always come over and say we got a new one and this happened so regularly I'm telling you. I couldn't wait until the Motown reviews so I could see everybody In one place at the Fox theater, it was simply majestic
Little Stevie Wonder, us Brits loved the Detroit sound in the 60s, but this was special. 'No football hero, ' amazing music..
I couldn`t believe what I was hearing when I first heard this. What is this Motown music? The start of a love affair that`s still going after 55 or so years. Just wonderful.
"The Funk Bros", and Stevie Wonder a match made in music heaven. Sorry Michael Jackson, you can't even kiss their feet! Man listen to that Bass!
A brand new " Baby" ,a brand New Year 1966, and out of the Gate comes this
Explosive record !!! Outta Sight !!!!!!! 'Goin To A Go Go' , and Mitch Ryder's
'Jenny Take A Ride ' !!!!!!!

True quality lasts forever. Listening to this jewel in november 2022, people will still love it in 2032, 2042....😃❤

Awesome mix. This is the sound of Motown, Stevie is the genius.
I remember when this hit in 1965 and that FABULOUS YEAR . . .1966!
New Girlfriend 'cross town riding in 1966 Lemans. . . . . . . . .and Mitch Ryder . . "Jennie Take A Ride"!
This song sounds better than any song on the radio today.
Stevie was just a teenager at that time and already a musical genius.
Being a genius is a young man's game.
Sho'ya' right, brotherman!! Know what else is a true statement/testerment to his talent,, he accepted & made peace with his disability, & let his other senses kick in to help him navigate, & show him the way!! Lastly, Jett magazine did an article with him, talking about his career, & is being blind stopping him from his, music career?! Stevie said no, he also said that he was glad, he was blind, that way he didn't have to see how unfair the system was against Black Men, Women & children, he can't see it, butt it stills bring a year to his eyes!!
@@BamaJamz1 hes also faking being blind
@@ltii7852 how do you know that?
@@ltii7852 Something an ignorant, jealous low life would say.
I love to play this for my GREAT-grandchildren.
A genius. PERIOD music of my time.
I am still loving this.........
OMG. It's that exciting, heart stopping 1960s up tempo Motown Sound.
The out of sight Funk Brothers backing band. Outer worldly female background vocalists.
The Four Tops, Supremes, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas and of course the boy wonder himself, Stevie.
Yep, Could listen to that Motown Sound all day.

I miss mosogotam! He really knew how to make great extended mixes like this one!
Listen to merengue music! Their brass section brings a LOT of energy reminiscent of this sound.
I am not a musician, singer, just a fan. These extended plays are just fantastic, the Funks’ are just the untouchable

Respectful nod to the peerless Andantes.
David R.
You are listening to a Masterclass in musical perfection. No one can sit still to this.
Masterpiece
In 1967, I was about 10 years old when this was released. I certainly remember the influence that this sensational song had upon teens and parents. A unique time of enormous Stevie Wonder popularity, and of course, Tamala, Motown, being a household word being mentioned from all types of people.
3:17 Falls into groove
Agreed. I was 11, and the song represented a sound that had no equal at the time, and used a slang that had come on in recent years. That made it a classic for young folks. And the guy was just 17 yrs old!!! Unbelievable. Great Motown song.
This song is on 🔥
Legendary track - legendary man.
So glad that I grew up during these times. a 60's babe!! I know that I'm lucky and attended an all-black high school as well!!
Nice twist on a great song...Long live Stevie!
Extraordinary stuff! There will never be music like this created again! Yeah, Jamerson's bass and that snare!
Well....thank you so much!~
Legendary lyrics.
That bass has got to go...straight into the hall of fame of classic "best sounds on earth".
Tha' famous man hisself!..tha' one, tha' only..James Jamerson!

PURE GENIUS......Mr. Stevie Wonder💪🏾🧔🏾♂👍🏾
Listening to your extended versions is like getting half price gasoline. Nice, thanks.
The first mosogotam version I ever heard back in 2011, and still one of my all time favourites. I was blown away by the drums ( Papa Zita) . I don’t believe I even noticed them when I was listening to this record in my bedroom when I was a wee lad . Thank you John.
John Lennon even commented on his drum playing. He was one of a kind.
heard this song a million times when it came out. Still not tired of it. Likewise for My Sherie Amour.
I play this version more than the original these days. Ace!
Is there anything comparable uplifting as this song today? No!
Thanks.... from start to finish a true joy to hear.

From Little Stevie Wonder to Humongously Stevie Wonder. Great extended work!
A legendary song, come on!
Oh, this is real good!!!
I'm Detroit born and raised. I'm Motown raised!!!
Thank You for this gem!
*@Mosogotam* Absolutely terrific edit! ! Even as far back as the 60s the pleasure & impact of the long intro is mostly forgotten. Thank You so much for such a tasteful modification & for uploading this jewel 💜💙😊💕
In England we dance to these wonderful sounds. Its known as northern soul with djs playing original vinyl and packs out halls every weekend ❤
Stevie is the very best singer/composer to come out of Motown. Ever. May he live for a thousand years. Thanks for uploading.
To true he always had it 😎
One of greatest of All Time..
I would have loved to have been there for these sessions & just clapped, played a tambourine or any of the other implements used to create that wonderful sound!
Me too.. I always wanted to play a tambourine like Jack Ashford. Lol
Misty eyes listening to this, was a kid when this hit, love the extended mix, the 60s had its share of strife but I wouldn't trade being a kid during that time for anyyhing...
Everyone should wake up to this tune!
This piece speaks for itself. If you are not uplifted by hearing this, you are probably dead and don't know it. To the core. If you were alive and remember this song breaking out in 1965, you know what I'm talking about. Timeless.
He played the Forum in L.A. in 1973 or '74 and when this song started 18,000 fans jumped to their feet and started cheering and clapping and dancing. It was magical!! (Rufus with Chaka Khan opened for Stevie that tour!)
I can never dance when I was a kid, but I can dance in my mind though.
"I gotta' dance...ain't got no steps...gonna' let the music move me around"...Billy Preston.
I've gotta brain, but I ain't got no steps now, I'm gonna sing it to my
friends. Lol!
Turn back the clock I want to go! That was before I moved to CA. I bet it was "outtasite"!
Absolutely love this
