He was a very lucky Young Man. When his voice changed, him Michael Jackson & Paul Anka were still able to continue their Careers. Alot weren't most notably Frankie Lymon who Stevie Inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame the Same Night Smokey Robinson was. He Co Wrote Tears OF A Clown which went to Number One for Smokey & The Miracles in 1972 before he left the Group. He, Smokey & Prince were some of the most prolific Singer/Songwriters Of All Time. He wrote endless hits for others including Until You Come Back To ME, for Aretha Franklin and Tell Me Something Good for Chaka Khan featuring Rufus. His Harmonica has been featured on songs by The Eurythmics, Sting, Elton John, and even played it on Rod Stewart's Soul CD when he did his Version of My Cherie Amour. He also has been on every Single American Bandstand Anniversary Special in 1972, 1977, 1982, 1985 to celebrate 33 1/3, 40, 45, and the 50th in 2002. He also wrote and Sang Jermaine Jackson's Only Post Jackson Five Hit at Motown Let's Get Serious. He and his Buddy Elton John also made History by being some of the first Artists to Debut at Number One with an Album and for him it was Songs In The Key Of Life. 35 Years Ago he had another smash "Part Time Lover".
