EVEN AT THE TENDER AGE OF 16 HE HAD THE WORDS SUPERSTAR WRITTEN ALL OVER HIM ! WHAT A VOICE !
1:56 The way he sings "I'm a poor man's son" is one of my favorite moments in all seventy years of pop music
There's a real sense of urgency. Brilliant.

@@Jonathanschofield100 Genius, this song gets you out of bed in the morning.
He's singing there, aged 16. What a star!
+Hairy Neck and at 65 he's still going strong

Even in black and white, you can see his emence shine!
He didn't let being blind ruin his life, what a talent what a voice what guy !!!
They said before he got famous he'd be making ✏️📝 s and 🖊️ 🖋️ but I'm sure he made use of them signing Autographs .

He was a very lucky Young Man. When his voice changed, him Michael Jackson & Paul Anka were still able to continue their Careers. Alot weren't most notably Frankie Lymon who Stevie Inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame the Same Night Smokey Robinson was. He Co Wrote Tears OF A Clown which went to Number One for Smokey & The Miracles in 1972 before he left the Group. He, Smokey & Prince were some of the most prolific Singer/Songwriters Of All Time. He wrote endless hits for others including Until You Come Back To ME, for Aretha Franklin and Tell Me Something Good for Chaka Khan featuring Rufus. His Harmonica has been featured on songs by The Eurythmics, Sting, Elton John, and even played it on Rod Stewart's Soul CD when he did his Version of My Cherie Amour. He also has been on every Single American Bandstand Anniversary Special in 1972, 1977, 1982, 1985 to celebrate 33 1/3, 40, 45, and the 50th in 2002. He also wrote and Sang Jermaine Jackson's Only Post Jackson Five Hit at Motown Let's Get Serious. He and his Buddy Elton John also made History by being some of the first Artists to Debut at Number One with an Album and for him it was Songs In The Key Of Life. 35 Years Ago he had another smash "Part Time Lover".

Saginaw Michigan native.
He sure did a nice job on this Human Nature song .
On way
This would be a great Mashup with Church Of The Poison Mind by Culture Club.
laminage ..we have the same ears. I always thought that "poison mind" was about as close to 65-66 Motown as anyone had come at that point..
@@packard400 why thanks.😁
@@packard400 Hope you are fine and God Bless.
@@packard400 Culture Club was heavily influenced by Motown and many did covers of Motown Songs. Also The Charm School that Motown did in the 1960`s has been duplicated by Lou Pearlman, the Popstars Franchise and The K Pop Musical Movement.
I wonder if he performed in dusty Springfield show
No worries
Al white I'm so surprised
Did that show have regular dancers ? They don’t look good except for the blonde that keeps popping in on the right of the screen.. she’s gorgeous and looks like she has great rhythm
Culture
He sings of being from modest means and the love he shares with his ‘Baby’. Contrast that to today’s Rap artist. What happened to America. Smh
fuckin` cool!!!!!!

this video makes me want to go to the back of the bus
why are 3 people even on this page,
Taken from Dave Pratt tapes
No because this is not from Top of the Pops in fact it's not even British TV.
Swingin' Time is the programme and it's Canadian TV.
This was not live, c'mon? No Andantes or Originals is not "live".
The front rows were full of white people that did not care to hear his incredible voice because of the color of his skin. Stevie is truly a wonder.
That is not what I noticed...I noticed handclapping and amazement. Not everyone has rhythm. :0
I love him and his music but in this clip he looks as cool as an asparagus on drugs. :-)
Hope Daniel Caesar is alright uptight
NO !!!
YTs don't know how to dance... Talk about up-tight. 😂😂😂
