25 Years of Female Cadet Graduates Panel

The Citadel hosted a panel discussion to kick off their celebration of 25 Years of Female Cadet Graduates. The panelists were Lt. Col. Mary Thornton, ’05, Laura Curran, ’09, Bailey Richardson, ’20 and Tiziana Ortega, ’24. The moderator was Sally Selden, Ph.D., SPHR, provost of The Citadel. Topics of the discussion included their time as a cadet at The Citadel, how The Citadel influenced their approach to leadership, and what advice they would give to women who are considering joining the South Carolina Corps of Cadets.
