    I absolutely love your style Dr. Gundry. Stay fresh. On another note, I have been listening to Gary Brecka and he emphasizes the detrimental effects of folic acid for people who can't break it down- resulting in ADHD, postpartum depression, and other symptoms. He recommended methylated folic acid (and other nutrients for that matter). Please let us know your perspective on this issue.

      I've been near sided since I was 6yo. I only wear glasses to drive. It's a very low strength. I'm used to being in a blur. My old eye doc asked me how often did I wear my glasses, I told him. He was pleased, he said keep doing that because if you wear them all the time you will weaken your eyes
      Consequently my strength hasn't changed over 30yrs. I'm 61, I will continue this way. My only problem now is sometimes reading is blurry because I suffer in ridiculous pain which jack's up my BP.

    I love ocean caught salmon, but what about all the plastic in the ocean isn’t it going right into our food source.?

    • @B_Ruphe
      @B_Ruphe 9 месяцев назад +1

      The short answer is yes. But it is at present something that is unavoidable, since it is not ony found in top predators. Plastic particles of a range of sizes down to nanometre scale are now turning up in increasingly remote areas such as the profound and abyssal parts of the oceans, and in icecore samples taken from the polar regions. They are being detected throughout the food chain in marine biota, including abyssal and bottom-dwellers. There is growng research verifying this. (Forms of plastic are also being found in human embryoes and placentae.) Perhaps eating only fish low in the food pyramid might help (in the same way as it does to minimise toxins such as mercury, which get sequestered in the body's tissues. But I don't think so for plastics, because the density is probably of a muchness throughout the food chain, even as it is increasing everywhere over time.

    • @scottbegonias313
      @scottbegonias313 9 месяцев назад +2

      @@B_Ruphe thank you for explaining to me everything I know about the ocean. I already know about micro ,macro , nano plastics ..and big fish . eat little fish. That plastic will always be there for now on and future generations. The only thing that’s gonna halt the progression of it ..is to stop making plastic.! We’re killing the planet with plastic

    These health sites are very confusing!!!! Dr Grundy recommends some foods that are high in oxalates, such as raspberries and nuts .Oxalates are nasty little crystals and I have had them exiting my body since starting a low oxalate diet for fibromyalgia and hip bursitis.

    What about the negative problems with oxylates in nuts, seeds and greens? Maybe just stick with meats and animal products.

      And also read the carnivore cure.

      I agree with this. I was growing Swiss chard and when I found out the dangerous side effects of the oxalates it contained it wasn't even safe to feed my backyard chickens!!!
      Read a post called. Is your green smoothie killing you? Very thought provoking to say the least. Dr Grundy recommends lectin free but oxalates are just as dangerous...
