The one trick you are missing is L-Arginine. I have enlarged prostate, and yet I sleep through the night. I used to wake up 2 or 3 times per night until I discovered that the hormone vasopressin, which regulates blood pressure, but also has a secondary function to tell your kidneys to re-absorb water during the night ... I discovered that vasopressin is very similar to L-Arginine, and in fact it is produced from L-Arginine. When I read that, I went and bought a bottle of L-Arginine. I take 1 gram a day (500 mg twice a day), and the night-peeing goes away. If I ever I'm out of Arginine, after a few days I start having to get up at night, so I know it is Arginine that fixes the problem for me.

If the urge returns when you stop taking L-Arg, then it's only suppressing the issue, not fixing it.

    • @privateerburrows
      @privateerburrows 3 месяца назад +7

@@yoyolee4478 It is, actually, FIXING the issue, which issue is *arginine deficiency.*
You cannot fix arginine deficiency by taking it once.
Vitamins and supplements are for taking always.
Note: By "arginine deficiency" I don't mean a too low level of arginine intake. A deficiency can result from malabsorption.
Absorption of arginine decreases with age, which is why nightly urination problems as well as blood pressure problems increase with age.
Amino-acid malabsorptions with age are actually quite common, not just for arginine. Lysine is another case. As we age we need to increase arginine, lysine, glycine, beta-alanine (or the peptide carnosine) in the case of vegans or vegetarians. Taurine, too.
Your logic, i.e. that if anything you have to take on a regular basis is "supressing" an issue is faulty. Case in point, deficiency and age-related mal-absorption are ongoing issues, which require ongoing solutions. Otherwise you might as well say that _"Taking a shower is supressing the issue of stinking, rather than solving it, because you need to shower the next day again!."_ Or that eating is merely "suppressing the issue of hunger, as the next day you're hungry again!" Remember that arginine is a "food supplement". If you need a supplement at all, you need it as often as you need food.

Thank you doctor . Having a very small dinner or no dinner at all and no drinking 5 hours before going to bed helps a lot. If you are a man, place a container by bedside on the floor, then just use it to pee into while in bed, no need to get up , do that when you wake up to dispose of the urine. Your voice is pleasant and the rhythm of your speech as well, without that hipertensive speech of many RUclipsrs , and absence of that irritating background noise. American accent can be annoying but I enjoyed listening to yours.

I can't remember the last time I was able to sleep peacefully throughout the night. No one has been able to help me. I m starting to feel hopeless because I worry about my future as I get older. Bottom line: Foods that convert to sugar after eating, ie: carbs, is why we get
up to pee. Also certain spices, ie: paprika, cayenne pepper etc., tomato sauce, lemon/lime juice, etc., also make me pee thru the night, so I now avoid them.

Not everyone has strong stomach acid. And sometimes people dilute their stomach acid too much by drinking water with their meals. And it’s just enough to mess things up. A lot of people don’t realize how important Salt is for the body’s ability to produce good HCl. Salt is NaCl. See the relationship?

STOP laying down several hours before bed!!!... In the evenings, a few hours before bedtime, I was in the habit of laying down to: stretch, do release exercises, use massage gun and sometimes just read. Then when sleeping I was getting up to pee every 2-3 hours and so I started to trial and error EVERYTHING to see what could help...nothing was helping! So then I took an extended trip and I realized that when traveling I didn't follow that laying-down-routine and magically I didn't have to get up to pee so often. FINALLY! I had made the laying-down-before-bed connection, enacted the change at home and... Boom it worked!
Don't give up! Try it all! And Keep trying.
Know that I genuinely want this or anything else that helps you to resolve it soon! Blessings!!! 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

I really enjoy watching your videos as they're very informative however, with this one, I believe you're leaving a lot of information out that is undoubtedly very important. Information like how many hours of sleep you're referring to when you say you make it all night long. Are you talking about a 6-hour sleep, 8 hours sleep or?? And then also the yield of the urine. What's normal?...... And as far as dogs go, you don't have to get up at 5:00 a.m. because you have dogs. I mean really, LOL. Don't let the dogs control you, you control them. After all, we are the masters. My dogs no never to wake me up no matter what time I wake up. Often times I don't get up till 10:00 a.m. or even later. As soon as they see me moving around and I know they can start making noise. They're on a fasting regimen anyways, they don't eat until 3:00 or 4:00 p.m. and maybe again at about 7:00 or 8:00. Oftentimes they just get one meal. Very healthy dogs!

Make sure you take your dogs for a pee before you go to bed. And dont leave water out all night for them to get up to drink.
Tune is they get up and you get up then you can give them water and take them for pep after you do your thing. I was always raised with dogs and cats and monkeys. And we had turn the property and ten of organic food and lovely peace of mine and quiet , living out in the country. But my dad would get up as soon as the Sun would get up. And if the dogs were outside they'd, they didn't scratch at the door to were inside. We'd let them go out and do their number in the morning. And then everybody got fed and everybody got water.
He told me if you leave the dog Water dish out. They will bother you to go outside to go pee.
    And?
Most dogs if you leave the food out and don't give it in proportion, they will eat until they are sick. They are glutton's well some of them😅
