I remember stumbling upon your reviews when I was looking for which wheel to buy. I never thought I'd get so hooked to sim-gear reviews, lol. Good job, keep it up!
Bought this on launch. For occasional use on GT7 its great and much better than the Logitech shifter i had with my old G29 setup. I have swapped the cheap plastic gearknob for a metal one which i got off eBay with an adapter. Feels and looks a lot better.
Bro, this thing is 100x better than logitech just the resistance and quality feel, clamping force, i have used the logitech shifter for 3 or 4 years and i think the th8s is way better it actually feels tactile instead of the logitech. The logitech has no resistance whatsoever it feels like i could probably shift with my tongue, th8s atleast 2 fingers with a sort of soft click when in gear. Idk why you say it's just a little better when for the same price it is absolutely a night and day difference, i also tried it in the store alongside the th8a and it is the same feeling just not with the metal bits, and a little different knob, that's not worth the 140 euro difference for me. i like the knob it's still nice in the hand and the shape feels realistic enough better than the logitech one, you're bashing it's realism when most consumers of this product use it at their desk, it's just for fun and it feels way more realistic than the logitech one i don't think you gave it justice.
I had considered this when I was looking at shifters, but I opted for the big boxy boy on Amazon, but I like that there are entry level options like this

This shifter comes with two cables: One to connect it to Thrustmaster wheels and USB to directly connect it to a PC. I bought one a few days ago but I couldn't test it yet. It probably depends on the game if it works. Some are able to handle several devices at once e.g. the Saitec Heavy Equipment Controller consists of two devices: The wheel amd the console with all the buttons and both work at once in ATS.
Sooo, this nice piece of kit will not for the xbox, nor will it work with a logitech wheelbase?? 🤦🏻F. I aint getting logitechs cheap $40 thing. Erm... thanks for the review and spoiling my afternoon 🤣✌️❤️💯
this is just too close in price to the SHH shifter for me to justify recommending it to friends on a budget :/ the SHH is not that much more $, has adjustable tension, has a quick change sequential mode (with a switch for swapping to dedicated bindings), and offers multiple mounting options.
See I have Xbox so I wanted the Logitech one so bad is there any 3rd party ones that is like the Logitech ?? Thanks great video also I have an entry level THURSTMASTER TMX I don’t even think they make it anymore lol 😂

This shifter comes with two cables:
One to connect it to Thrustmaster wheels and USB to directly connect it to a PC. I bought one a few days ago but I couldn't test it yet.
It probably depends on the game if it works. Some are able to handle several devices at once e.g. the Saitec Heavy Equipment Controller consists of two devices: The wheel amd the console with all the buttons and both work at once in ATS.
my th8s shifter dose not work help me
What the thread of the knob? M4?
Will it work on the t150?
Does it work with the logitech 923 for ps5
Sooo, this nice piece of kit will not for the xbox, nor will it work with a logitech wheelbase?? 🤦🏻F.
I aint getting logitechs cheap $40 thing. Erm... thanks for the review and spoiling my afternoon 🤣✌️❤️💯
before watching the video im already confused why they made a budget version of a budget shifter (not budget in price just feel)
Im hesitant to get it, cant find anything on whether its compatible with the tmx pro
It is
How do you hook up the shifter to my Xbox one
Ya can't
So do you need a clutch pedal for this to work?
No
this is just too close in price to the SHH shifter for me to justify recommending it to friends on a budget :/
the SHH is not that much more $, has adjustable tension, has a quick change sequential mode (with a switch for swapping to dedicated bindings), and offers multiple mounting options.
The only issue with the shhh for me is that shipping times for America are ridiculous. That’s the only reason I opted for this one, personally.
@@thefiercecreator129 you have to wait, but you get an objectively superior product... delayed gratification.
Why haven’t you reviewed the R3 bundle from moza??
Didn’t receive it until recently, will be coming soon.
Will it plug onto the tmx?
Do the Logitech shifters work on trustmaster wheels as well?
no
See I have Xbox so I wanted the Logitech one so bad is there any 3rd party ones that is like the Logitech ?? Thanks great video also I have an entry level THURSTMASTER TMX I don’t even think they make it anymore lol 😂
Thanks for Great vid. I have a question: I bought it last month and I didn't encounter any issues when connecting it to my PC. But when connecting it to the PS4 to play grandturismo (via the wheel's connection port), the console doesn't recognize it. Have you tested it yet?
I think he said it only will work with the PC.
Is it compatible with a T300RS GT Edition ?
Yes
