Just had mine delivered from CEX and it didnt come with the Din cable to connect to the wheelbase... do you or anyone know what specific din cable i would need?
I am really worried that if i get this it will have connection issues i have a logitech g29 steering wheel connected to a pc will the shifter perfectly connect and work please let me know and pls reply❤❤
nah on console you need to have it plugged into a thrustmaster wheelbase it wont work running it into the console, sadly if you got logitech on console you gotta use the logitech shifter, but its not bad ive used mine for abt a year now on pc and its great
I have a problem with the setup, in asseto corsa or forza horizon on the pc, i’ve been installed it and the game recognized it but when I start play the race the shifter didn’t work to change gear, anyone can help me what’s the problem?
Honestly, the TH8S kinda disapoints. I really anticipated it to have like a fabric/leather knob and overall keeping the TH8A's best features, just without the full metal build. I own a TH8A and given how cheap the TH8S is, I considered buying it for the knob.
Btw, on pc you can't connect the shifter to the wheelbase and have it work, it requires it to be connected to another usb type A socket, just a reminder to those who are short on usb sockets
I'll definitely be investigating that in a bit, as I just got my own and was hoping to connect it to my TM Wheelbase. Kind of a shame, but would make sense, the windows drivers being what they are.
I have an SHH. It is great and is maybe less 'toy like' than what this new TM shifter sounds/looks like. But caveat I have not tried the shifter shown here :).
Sorry what, the sequential is what, you must have a faulty one as the sequential works perfectly on my th8a shifter, and personally id rather pay more for the metal one just from looking at it and the functionality of the th8s version looks like a massive downgrade in quality 🤔

It's propriety. The only way to get a replacement is from Thrustmaster.
I'm glad they're not forgetting about budget-friendly options. Fanatec and Logitech seem to have abandoned the budget space.

No. The TH8S has more tension, which is better. But you can easily add a tension mod to the Logitech shifter.
Does this shifter have a neutral gear?
Neutral is when the stick is not in one of the gear positions, as essentially each gear position is an on/off button.

If you are on PC dont forget to download the drivers for it. Other than that, plug it in to your PC and youre good to go!

I didn't say the seq mode doesn't work on the TH8A. Maybe listen to what I said again.

@@jcra8968 Not great, in as much as the feel of it. It's very dull. In fact, the most tepid feeling sequential shifter out there. It is what it is.
i hat to be that guy but its supposed to be under 1/2 the price not over 1/2 of the price.
