This does not excuse his actions, and I hope for justice to be served. However, it’s no secret that if our country provided the proper care for our veterans that some tragic events like this may be avoided.
Since the salon was right next door to the liquor store he used earlier, maybe he was coming back for more liquor, saw an open parking space and was too drunk to apply his brakes, hit the gas pedal instead and didn’t know the difference! I mean, if he drove around for 5 hours, as reported, he probably needed more booze. Otherwise, it’s odd that he would drink and drive for that long and come back where he started. At any rate, this wasn’t his first rodeo. He was arrested in 2013 for DUI. He should spend the rest of his days in prison! He killed 4 people!
