Laoshu, man... What an inspiring individual. He highlighted a side of RUclips that millions of people never knew about. He inspired people to learn languages and even create RUclips channels highlighting such. He is one of my biggest inspirations to learn languages and make RUclips videos. You'll never be forgotten, Laoshu. Rest in Peace; hopefully he's still doing what he loves in Heaven

Another good youtuber was Grant Thompson. Hes known as the legendary The King Of Random. From backyard science to amazing projects, Grant dedicated his time to learning. After a while, he had to step back so he could tend to do something much greater. His wife and kids. Grant lost his life in a para motoring accident.
And now his channel is clickbaiting non-sense “science”. It got so bad I unsubscribed over it

I remember when Claire passed. It made huge waves in the CF Community. Every doctor and nurse that was caring for me was talking about her. Honestly sad to see her pass at like 21. Even with all the amazing tech and medicine and research it’s heartbreaking 💔

TinFoilChef was an older Minecraft youtuber who passed. He was on Hermitcraft and was known for accepting that he couldn’t play as much so he kept things slow and peaceful. It was a really refreshing contrast to the other hermits that would get full diamond in just a couple episodes while TFC was still in iron for ages, farming mostly by hand, just walking around everywhere instead of getting Elytra and Rockets really quickly, etc.

I woke up on the morning of 1 July, scrolled through my subscription feed and saw a community post from Dream expressing that he was heartbroken after hearing the news about Techno losing his battle
Keep in mind that I was half asleep when I read that post, it took a few moments to realise what I had just read, but I was fully awake once I realised

It is so nice to remember these great souls who passed away, man you brought up tears to my eyes, I was feeling nostalgic during the entire video, these guys were my child hood for most of them, and some others like Apetor were just so natural and nice as a person, true RUclipsrs, here to entertain you and not here for clout, not begging for likes and subs, just casually drinking his little shots of Vodka and jumping into frozen water with a chainsaw , the kind of simple man we all loved. Another one is Michigun. He was the best star grinder in geometry dash. He used to have the world record for most stars, having over 60000. He also was a great creator, making parts in beloved extreme demons, and creating his own levels. The cause of his death is unknown, but it was sad to see him go.

Etika was one of the youtubers that I would genuinely watch every time he uploads. As someone who grew up with Nintendo their entire life, he was the perfect guy for me.
It was those people's fault for luring him into the dark path that made his mental health go in the bunker. Hearing the news about his passing absolutely devastated me for weeks.

Keem and etika where on good terms. Etika loved keem and dramaalert. It wasnt keems fault, even etikas own family have good relations with keemstar, and publically called for the internet to stop blaming keem. It was a horrible situation, and nobody's fault individually.
I would also include Edd Gould from Edd's World. Miss that guy, still can't believe he died age 23 from cancer, legit heartbreaking.
His death impacted Tomska massively, and we would only know this years later. Glad Tomska bounced back much later on.

Edd Gould aka Eddsworld. I saw him mentioned before in a video about RUclipsrs who passed away. They showed clips from his channel and it looked cool so I checked it out and almost immediately loved it. The videos were my perfect level of low and high brow humor to me, I enjoyed them so much that I actually forgot how I found his channel and it actually made me sad; like I had grown up watching him when it was just a few days. He was the first RUclips animator I think I saw and he made me wanna start someday. Maybe someday

Seeing Bernard here genuiely made me cry. I remember seeing his "An old mans advice" video recommended to me a few years ago when i was really struggling with anxiety and felt very depressed, his words make me cry a lot back then and give me a bit of light of hope to keep going. And is even more sad to me because i found he passed away with this video, and makes me feel bad for not knowing it earlier.
I hope his words keeps helping a lot more people in the future, as it helped me back then and now. R.I.P Bernard Albertson.

I need to mention Brian Barczyk. He was a reptile enthusiast and the owner of a reptile zoo named the Reptarium and had over five million subscribers on RUclips. I actually visited the Reptarium in 2020 and got to meet him and some of his team. They were all great people and the Reptarium is a really cool place. Brian passed away in January of this year at the age of 54 after his battle with pancreatic cancer. R.I.P. Brian Barczyk

He was an awesome dude. It was awful to watch him become so frail in such a short time.
@@WookieWoman It’s a terrible disease. My grandfather passed away a few weeks ago from inoperable pancreatic cancer only about a month or so after he was diagnosed with it. It kind of makes it more serious to me now that my grandfather also passed away from the same thing. Brian was like 20 years younger than my grandfather though so that makes his death quite tragic as he still had a lot more life to live.
This actually made me tear up, so many legends, if i had a wish that could grant anything then i would say to bring back all of those 10 legends back to life and live like nothing ever bad happened
Was kind of bummed to not see ken block in this video, he was a stunt driver with the hoonigan group who was really major on RUclips both on hoonigan and independently. He passed away around the beginning of 2023 in a snowmobile accident.
You're most certainly going to have to make a part two. Joseph Robert Wilson, or as he calls himself in his videos: Paul of Mitten Squad. The community he built is still strong, the things he did in defining a type of gameplay where the goal is a goofy challenge or a really hard one. He was struggling, yes, but the Fallout and Elder Scrolls community has lost a Legend.
And damn, man. Joseph did the same thing apetor did. He made a community post about how he's "not dead, despite the rumors." And he died a short week or two after.
Rest in piece to all the Legends who are lost. You will not be forgotten.

Another person I would like to add that I don’t see on these that often, Talia Joy. She was a little beauty guru with a popular channel in the early 2010’s. She was diagnosed with cancer when she was just 7 years old, and passed away at only 13. I remember she was so full of life and happiness despite everything she was going through. She was truly a beautiful soul.

Another beloved "youtuber" that died was Edd Gould, he made really funny animations like Eddsworld.
He passed away in 2012 because of cancer.

This video, specifically tomii 11 getting a record breaking amount of subscribers reminds me of a similar case. A RUclipsr known as Paul Harrell announced that he would be retiring due to a form of cancer. Due to this, multiple larger channels pushed to get him one million subscribers before he passed. It was truly a beautiful moment of human cooperation. From what I hear, Paul Harrell is still alive, but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like he has long.

man technoblade was a huge idol and an important figure in my life, i could be having the crappiest days ever but all it took to make it better was a simple technoblade video to put back a smile on my face. I miss him so much. RIP Technoblade.

It is always refreshing to see the joy of the people's faces he interacted with in their own language.

Man, Laoshu was my most favorite channel ever, I would binge watch it constantly, and continue watching until someone told me the dude was gone.
Damn, it was so unexpected too given how booming and funny his energy was.
Me too finding out laoshu passed away hit me so hard I would always look forward to his uploads.
Etika was one of my favorite youtuber/streamers at the time. I actually saw his las video he posted before he passed away and it was terrifying knowing what was most likely about to happen from the video. I wish you went more in depth with his story and what all happened with him though :(
One passing that caught my attention was Kitty0706. He was a gmod machinima maker for a few years, and had ties to DasBoSchitt. He passed away in 2015 due to Lukimea.

Unfortunately, his passing was less publicised than half of the other guys mentioned in the video, but still a lot of people knew about it. He took his own life due to having very severe mental health issues a couple years back, and is missed greatly by his millions of fans, myself included.

As someone who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis it’s definitely deliberating there’s good days there’s bad days. Fortunately for me I’ve never been in such bad health as Claire Winefield was. Only been hospitalized twice my junior and senior year of high school both times put an end to my plans for college. Rest in Peace Claire

I know he was more a music creator than a RUclips creator but E-dubble was a huge part of my middle school/high school life when I heard him for the first time as a backtrack in a straight up knives video. Hearing about his passing my senior year really hurt. He passed due to a blood infection but I Hope he’s still making sick music up in heaven.
I still almost vividly remember my timeline on Twitter during the week that Etika was missing, wish more people noticed the signs sooner and could have helped him during his time of need. I teared up a little during his part of the video, RIP 🙏
