Yeah imagine doing it for a video, saying he was cheating on purpose for a video, and then tells his audience cheating is bad, then still getting banned, brutal.
This is the most immature way to handle being caught cheating. It's like a 10 year old making things up how their friend installed the hacks instead of them and left it on. "Omg clara😩😫"

The "Clara" incident was this day still the most embarrassing "cheater got caught" to watch. The cringiness in her excuses are enough to send shiver down the spine..
I'm actually having trouble finishing this video for that reason. I'm paused at 3:39 and watching it in 5 second chunks lol. And I'm here because I'm having the same problem with Nathan For You in the other tab xD
If there are infinite universes, there is one where this girl is, actually, not cheating, and actually has a friend named Clara who installed cheats on her computer.
The whole "I'm sorry I got caught" thing is always funny. They only "realise" they're not the good guys AFTER getting caught and try to play it like they're the victim.
Nah even after they are caught, they will still be absolutely convinced they are the victims of life, and never the bad guys. I know their character/patterns very well, because one of my own family member is such a type of individual, lol. Trust me, it's literally impossible for these types of people to truly own up and take responsibility for any negative things they do to others. And expect no mercy from such types of people. (Plus the human mind is infinitely subjective in nature, so they can and will fully justify every of their own behaviors till the very end. That's just how twisted bad guys in real life are, compared to the more simplistic bad guys you often see in movies and tv shows.)
Sunny be like "This guy cheated. But it doesn't hold a candle to THIS guy who cheated harder. But he looks like a GENIUS compared to this girl who cheated even more. But she's nothing compared to-"
Clara is like Carmen Sandiego, installing aimbot on unsuspecting gamers PC's while evading the cyber ban police, still to this day, Where on Earth is Clara!? 😂
God,I love apologies AFTER being caught. Not a sudden flash of guilt or some revelation that makes them change their mind, just the pathetic attempts of an idiot trying to avoid the consequences of their actions. Not a shred of honesty.
I love how you can immediately tell the difference between the genuine reaction of the dev realizing he accidentally cheated and all the people pretending it was an accident when they got caught.
I thought that he forgot to turn off the invis (maybe he just finished working, and he needed to used invis to like, make skin, guns, graphics things and code/dev/fix bugs or smth), no?
Yea of course, I feel the dev left debug mode on, Usually it's used by devs to test features of the game or speedrun the game to test bugs, or any issues with scenes, scripts or anything. Kinda like what you saw on the GTA 5 leak video.
They might've known that he had cheats on and exploited that to win championships, thinking that if they ever get caught only he (the cheater) will get banned.
The worst part is that streamers think they are some kind of superstars and behave like celebrities. But the saddest part is that there are like this because thousands of people prefer to watch some other guy/girl play on the Internet instead of just play by themselves.
I honestly believe the dev didn’t mean to cheat, his reaction seems very normal and nothing like all these other people who clearly knew they were cheating. He has this embarrassed reaction like he can’t believe he didn’t realize he was invisible and basically cheating.
I wouldn't be surprised if he just enjoys going invis with noclip and watching the games unfold, and when he went to stream probably turned off noclip but forgot to turn off the invis. Or smth like that would be my guess.

He was expecting just his alt account to get banned but he is really stupid for RECORDING himself cheating & posting it on youtube where millions of people watch his channel. Like did he forget Epic also can view his video?....
Shes kinda right tho, just look at Nadia. People analysed every single frame of her stream to try and find if she was cheating and had lots of mysogony in her chat.
Doesn't shock me too terribly much. His brother, Kay, did something similar when he was caught over the Save the Kids scam a few years after this. Bros are obviously taking from the same playbook.
I believe faking a blindfolded run probably requires more work than actually doing it, since you'd need to understand absolutely everything about the game that would require eyesight to know.
@11:02 I sympathize with and believe the Dev when he said he didn't realize his mod was active. As a longtime software dev myself, to accelerate the testing process we add backdoors like this used during the testing phase and from constantly switching from dev to player modes I totally understand actually running in debug mode when you didn't mean to. All developers have at some point.
Exactly! We have debug menus that grant us additional bonuses or ways to test the game, but of course these should be used only for testing or internal games. Against players it's a no-no, so obviously a dev would not risk his career to win unfairly in his own game. Most likely he was just testing stuff before and forgot to turn it off before the game
Genuinely feel really bad for that dev, hope he’s doing alright! (Unless he actually was cheating on purpose, but I doubt it since his reaction looked honest)
Remember when playing videogames was about having fun with your friends and cheating meant throwing a couch pillow at them or screen looking while playing split screen? Better times.
Playing splitscreen was exactly the same though and not everyone is your friend. They are probably the same people as well, just constantly look at other peoples screens without making any effort and make up some excuse like ''yeah my eyes just work like that.'' And then later they will try to find ANY excuse to convince people you are also looking on screens when you're just using your ears or like to throw random grenades in maps you don't even know. The evenings were fun until you realize there is someone like that in the group and people are done precisely because of the cheaters and fun ruiners. Better to just play games where there is no strange drama because people can't handle it.

I can imagine A genuinely honest streamer that has malware on their computer that automatically downloads assist-programs (The word I use for, “Cheats,”.) which would also download more Assist-Programs, which all are just malware, and during streams the streamer has to leave games and uninstall the Assist-Programs each time, because their number-1 priority when it comes to Multiplayer Games is fairness. Another situation I can imagine is A chatter just joining the stream and sees an Assist-Program that no one had noticed before, to which the streamer thanks that chatter for spotting it and minimises their game of War Thunder to uninstall it, and, hey, if I were the one to spot it after just joining, I’d be confused enough that the streamer had piqued my interest. I’d certainly watch their streams more!
“The-Gr3at-Explod1nat0r says Why Not Get An Antivirus? Well, the prices are nuts. But at this point I’m too used to uninstalling the cheats. I can do it fast enough so that it won’t make A major difference most of the time.”
11:52 I feel like his punishment was the most harsh and unnecessary one. Call me A Cheats Supporter all you want, but he definitely wasn’t he had only tried it once, on an alt and had vowed never to do it again even in the video. He said it was to see how Over-powered it could be and was A 1-time-thing, and I feel like this could’ve shed more of A light on the utter unfairness of Assist-Programs and how much fun they suck out of the game, which in turn might’ve prompted A lot of game developers to double-down on their fortifications against Said-Assist-Programs. Even though he promised it was A 1-time-thing, he was banned and blocked from being able to play, which is unjustified due to the fact, again, that he was doing it once and to showcase how unfair it was, which, I’ll admit, COULD be Temporary-Ban-Worthy (Or even Permanent-Ban-Worthy to just his main account or all of his alternative accounts.), but in no way could’ve been enough of A cyber-crime to block him from playing altogether. I should give Epic A sliver of A bone here, though, as they WERE just trying to do their jobs. Like I typed. A sliver.

Most of them are nobodies without the cheats. Most of them get popular because of their cool, talented gamer moments, but they're all fake. The smartest people are the ones who use the cheats to become popular, and then stop using them. @@SocialExperiment232 Yea, but this is like the old Karl Jobst mantra about speedrunners. Cheaters don't cheat to get a faster time: they cheat to get a time faster. They're often talented players who probably could get the time they were hunting, but are reluctant to grind for it. A completely talentless player with cheats turned on would be outed way quicker than a lot of those who were really good players, because they could be good enough without the cheats that they know how to make it look a bit subtler - or could do well enough in live play without the cheats to convince people that they were good enough not to be cheating. The Riolu saga in Trackmania, for example: because he was so good in live play and streaming, nobody suspected his mostly cheated offline records. For years.

And then later they will try to find ANY excuse to convince people you are also looking on screens when you're just using your ears or like to throw random grenades in maps you don't even know. Jarvis just has to deal with some hate, and the massive meme he became which tripled his views, also it’s just a fortnite ban, he can just buy a new Hard Drive or processor, whatever part they ID ban on ur PC and play again, maybe not stream it, or he can block out the kill feed, and username part of fortnite on his stream, and still not get banned. “superfastjellyfish” has public image of cheating which gives him no roots to being successful in the gaming/social media career because his past will be brought up, also all the work he put into becoming a “known” gamer.

A sliver.

You can easily see he stops shooting as soon as he notices the other player is not turning around to face him. Then he hears them asking where he is. And immediately understands and apologizes. The saddest part is that some of them really were good players they just can’t stand to lose even once so to get rid of the human error they cheat.
For years.
@@SocialExperiment232 Thats sad honestly. The one thing make that sports (and e-sports), and overall competition so amazing is that human input factor. Human error is part of competing. He also says he wishes he had never installed the game because it hadn’t done anything positive for him. My theory is he was placing too much of himself on being #1 and in the end it burned him out. I’m not saying all cheaters do it for that reason but I’ve seen a few like that that clearly have underlying mental health problems and that was their coping mechanism.
