The fz201 softs are indeed faster tire, but in all comes down to where and how are you going to use them. As Federal does not recommend running them in above 80 f temperature you will experience fast wear, my friend had them and they only lasted like 4 track days, as he was running them in summer temperatures in the 90s. I would use them only for fall type racing weather where temps are cooler at least in my climate location. So again it all depends on you environment and how you going to use them.
Yes you can however, I not sure 🤔 you would want to they are so loud on the road it makes your car feel like your wheel bearing are shot and your wheels are about to fall off, but if that don’t bother you then you definitely can.
Great review!
thanks for your feedback. i'm about to try the soft version. as i heard they are better/faster. did you consider trying the soft compound?

42 track sessions? How many laps?
Hard to say how many laps but one track session is 20-25 minutes running.
they got e-certification so in europe you are allowed to use them on the road

Hi, how wide are your wheels to accommodate 285/30/18?
9.5 inch et35mm however these tires run narrow so it fits good.
@@MotorsportInspired thanks for info
How do lap times compare with nt-01 and rt660?
They are very comparable within .5 second delta depending on track and track conditions set few personal bests as well.
Are these tires good for drag racing?
They more of an track tire than drag radial tire, they drip well however I not sure 🤔 how would they stack up against other purpose drag tires.
@@MotorsportInspired yeah I’ve been basing threadwear on sticky but was told that’s not always the case for drag/street tire
