Thanks! The part ordered and the procedure to remove/replace the instrument panel worked EXACTLY as shown. My 2003 BMW 325it's clock now is set to the right time, which was especially annoying before the fix after return to standard time.

Only 5% of those pumps are infected and cars where this happened are high milage cars, no one car here in Europe got this problems before 300 000km..

Good video ! Helped me out a lot, my screw snapped right away. Easier way to actually fix this is to take a flat head screw driver and a hammer and hit the inside threads. Its breaks off instantly with almost no effort. Hope this helps. I wish I did this sooner

thanks for posting this. I can't seem to put everything back together without any gaps underneath the sidemirror, in other words, after I installed the new sequential blinker led, the seam underneath didn't look the same as it was from factory :(

It's worth noting that, prior to performing the repair, you can set the clock with a paperclip inserted through the hole around the knob, at about 2 or 10 o-clock relative to the knob, to hit the two buttons shown in this video.

You can’t put it the wrong way cause the flywheel bolts block you. You’ll know right away.
