- Shadow Ball is Mewtwo’s most important move in all states of Smash. With this in mind, this makes knowing how to use it one of the most important things to know when playing Mewtwo. This video will cover Shadow Ball for Combos, Neutral, Advantage and Disadvantage states.

More important Information about Shadow Ball. There's frame advantage info beneath the Shadow Ball info.
1. Non-fully charge Shadow Ball lingers for 79 frames (i think?) & can be + on shield up to frames 8-23 if fresh & if the opponent shields after the 31 frames of animation. Assuming the opposing character shields it point-blank, a fully charged SB is -4 on shield and the non-charged variant ranges from -15 to -1.
2. It's VERY advantageous if it clanks with disjoints being at a massive +50 with a minutely charged SB if M2 can move after the animation ends (a max charge is like +83 on clank.)
Confusion info: Confusion is -1 on hit at 0%. +1 at 25%. +3 at 50%. +4 at 75%. +5 at 100%. +6 at 125%. This is relevant because it makes the threat of fair very real at 100% and acts as an observation tool on a player or character's habits.

Best part of Shadow Ball tech, cancels and mix-ups, also apply to characters with other large charge shots. Samus, wii fit, hero, lucario and robin. Jump cancelling into another move is my personal favorite, followed by wave bouncing

Sometimes I use a fully charged shadow ball as shield pressure when I’ve already done a lot of shield damage so they either have to take the hit or get shield broken
