I just picked up Mewtwo, he’s ridiculously strong. I main Wii Fit Trainer and Toon Link, so being at the ledge is something I’m 100% comfortable with. I’ve played this game since the day it came out and didn’t know how nutty Mewtwo can be when played correctly. Zenkai and Wadi made me wanna try him out. Now I’m picking him up and your content helps out a lot. There’s no good Wii fit trainer channels on RUclips and As a smash 4 Wii fit main I’m thinking about starting a channel similar to this one. So you’ve kinda inspired me in a way.

I have basically the same controller layout as you, just on a procon because I dont have a gamecube controller. I just have my ZR (usually right sheild) set to jump because I find pressing X and Y uncomfortable, and tap jump gets in the way of my combos and sometimes up smash if I catch someome's landing good, I also have the entire d-pad set to sheild for mashing
Up tilt into up air is a great bread and butter combo If someone misses a tech on a lower ledge, read the roll direction and charge up smash for early kills
I saw SDX do the double jump shadow ball cancel and wondered how it was done. Now I have one more option off the ledge. Thanks!

NOTE: Mewtwo's get-up attack does not have a hitbox at the base, meaning if your opponent is right on the edge, you will not hit them.
