Just here to add a few things you missed that I think are useful when fighting Mewtwo: Confusion in the air: over 140%, Mewtwo can input fair without the frame 3 jump squat in 7 frames, and it is mostly true unless you are very lucky. This is because the more percent you have, the fewer frames you have to move out of confusion. At 140% you have -6 frames to move and since fair is frame 7, you need a frame 1 invincibility to get out of it. So don't get to shield happy at this percent! D-throw fair: I did some labbing, and found at 18% or higher, d-throw fair has one frame for you to get out (until 35% where it's true). However, you can DI out (hold away) once you see the initial throw animation to escape the fair (this will make it not true). However, a smart Mewtwo will adapt to this. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AS D-THROW FAIR IS LIKE ANOTHER KILL THROW BUT IN FRONT OF YOU. JAB AT LEDGE: This one is the most important and I'll try my best to explain. If Mewtwo rolls to ledge and jabs, he can get up to 30%-60% in damage. The reason for this is because most rapid jabs push the opponent away from you however Mewtwo's jab pushed him away instead. If you are at ledge then Mewtwo doesn't get pushed away so he can get in big damage. To escape, either hold in the opposite direction and shield, jiggle the stick in the opposite direction (you escape around the same time), or play bowser. If you react right away you will only take about 30% so be careful of roll behind at ledge and try not to normal get up at ledge. Hope this helps!!
What the description should have been Tired of losing to Mewtwo? This video will show you how to beat Mewtwo in Smash Bros. Ultimate. It will help you on your journey to Elite Smash, showing what moves to respect and what weaknesses to exploit.
As a mewtwo main I would say in most cases dont try to edge guard him off stage. If you are in advantage and you see a mewtwo float away hes probably setting up for a disable, I would anticipate that and punish it
I’m not saying Mewtwo is completely busted, but Mewtwo does have some really good options. Confusion can set up for kills, he really doesn’t have any bad tilts, due to them all having really nice range and practical use, plenty of kill power, and nice combo potential. I main M2 for this reason
Why can't i play against people like you in elite smash... All i get to face not is king k and pikachus. I would love to face a good link. Plus i feel i have 30% chance of actually beating you lol
@@frosticle6409mewtwo goes by “he” though. theres no female mewtwos. so it would be “he” in all contexts. being non-human has nothing to do with pronouns. hope this helps

@@Silverado-pq6xe In Pokken Tournament, Mewtwo is referred to as “he” because there is a specific relationship between Anne and Mewtwo. Still falls under the rules. I usually lose every single Mewtwo online battle encounter. I’m so used to playing against, but they ALWAYS get me using camping methods and mind games, it’s way too frustrating.
I love that you started adding matches at the end, really helpful video!
"Don't get hit"
He said it! He said it!
You legend

Lylat and yoshis are his worst stages which most people say
Lol I'm a mewtwo main, these are useful to learn my own bad habits and how to react to different counter plays against me.
I struggle against m2 so much!
I might now do better against him.

What are you going to do after finishing all the characters?
I have so many ideas. But I try not to focus on it too much so I can finish the playlist.
@@TravPlay yeah I know that you're an author keep up the good work
Respect mewtwo side b if u have 120%
Side b + fair is true combo at 120% and is a kill confirm
Hey, so You did do it! That's Awesome!!
Mewtwo is cool concept as a character but people play him online like pure trash
Holy crap, that match at the end was insane.
I stopped watching my other video when I saw this
Very good.
I actually do main Mewtwo. Heck, it's my best character.
Thanks for telling me what to avoid doing BTW
He's annoying af and has no landing lag whatsoever.
He has no lag period lol. Cracked character that's heavily slept on.

KKR main here - I HATE this character so much.
i was the mewtwo
I love this vid
Can you do king dedede next please?
Why are you calling mewtwo "it"?
Non humans are given the “it” pronoun. This includes pets.

M2 really is a hard character to play. I've been trying to get him in elite. But Christ he really helps you play other characters afterwards
Didnt even watch the video but i liked anyway
Not even a minute in and i already disagree. Platforms help me escape the shadow ball and help me with platform comboing him
How to unlock mewtwo 😐
If you haven’t already, play a lot of classic mode. You’ll unlock a lot of characters that way
Yeiiii
Mewtwo is pretty cool
Lmao I’m a Mewtwo main
