Thanks for the link, super helpful!! Can’t believe it’s only $15.97.
Good to know video. I am working on my 125B and your video was helpful for me in working on mine.
Thank you! Hard to believe that kit is only $15.00
Dude ! Your the best...........TY
Exact same blower with the exact same problem. Will order replacement parts. Thanks.
Did it work?
@@AshtonCarnahan Worked 4 years ago when I posted this. More recently, it frustratingly dies during use. Sometimes it will restart and run briefly, then die again. I recently bought a battery powered replacement.
On mine, the coupler is on the return line and the line ends at the tank. The fuel line does not have a coupler and continues unbroken from the carb to the tank.
My 12 yr old German made SOLO LEAFBLOWER also needs the choke to be on to run.If the primer bulb is full or mostly full (mine is ) does that say that fuel is flowing? I changed the fuel filter,( the fuel filter is the same as yours and I put a different one on.That is all the hardware store had.I cleaned out the fuel tank vent, took the Carb off and cleaned the gasket(it looked nearly new )I tried running it with the air filter out.No go.Made sure the Carb.was clean.Could it be that I need to simply replace the fuel lines eventhough they look good at least from the outside.I really luv this quality SOLO leafblower and hate to junk it.Any ideas would be appreciated.
My dude working on his blower on top of his blower 😂
Mine is doing the same thing (dies when choke comes off, runs like crazy with choke on). Same model 125BV and it was on my patio (covered) but water got into the fuel I was using (pre-mix) and it wouldn't start for anything. Dumped it out, mixed my own gas (50:1) and after a week or so, it started, but with this new problem. Guessing the water didn't help much, but for some reason, not getting enough gas at the 'open' choke setting, and it dies. I think the gas filter is screwy now and the fuel line might be gunked up somehow. That'll be my next job. Maybe some Dry-Gas will clean up the mess from the water? Yeehaw!
I want my stihl back.. this model has had problems after only using it a month
so, what was the problem?
125B did everything, carb kit, new plug, new Carb, new fuel lines, new fuel filter, checked the spark arrestor, no issue with motor mounts. Still runs like shit..will not run, I have the spark ignition ordered but I do not think that's the issue. Not much for carbon in it and need to find a carb adjustment video I suspect maybe the carb mount rubber housing .
Same problem here. Mines done it twice
Just have to wonder if Husqvarna does this so you have to buy a kit every 2 years lol. Another thing is I would buy the premixed at the store because that has no ethanol in the gas. That is what will kill those parts quick. Hey Gadget Dad you might want to block out the AR 15 box Biden will have people knocking on your door LOL
My blower only works with hald choke. But I have the same model you are showing.
I just took apart the carb and cleaned it and now it's running normal. Mine was doing the same thing as yours before
That is your fuel filter, and the fuel lines were corroded due to using fuel with ethanol in it.
Do you have a link to the repair kit? Thanks
Can I get the link as well?

Don't these things come with a 2 year warranty?
Sorry to everyone that watched and asked for link. New you tuber, will watch comments closer in future. Please forgive me on this. I added link to description and replied to comments requesting.
Also, almost two years post this video and this fix is still working great! No issues with the blower since then.

Lack of maintenance does happen to these machines all time.
If it only runs choked.....it's thirsty.
Trashcan is the best place for these.
Video
Its almost ALWAYS the stupid fuel filer falls off the tubing. It has happened to me on 4 of these my guys use. Garbage design. Back to buying Stihl.
It’s not the design that is causing the problem. It is the ethonol in the fuel eating up the plastic lines.
No link and pointless video

Haha he called the fuel filter “a fuel bobber or whatever that thing is.” And this is who we have to look to for issues needing fixed? Get tf outta here quit wasting ppls time with these fn videos!
Whoa, dude, why so nasty? He successfully fixed his blower while admitting he's not a mechanic. Where's the issue?
No need to be an asshole
Hard to disagree with your sentiment. Seemed to me a lot of talking and little action, especially the all-important post-fix test.
Calm your titties Karen.
