  • In this video I tackle a trash find. The Husqvarna 125B. Most of the time it won't start and when it does, It runs terrible. You have to keep the choke on to keep it running. The compression is low at about 70 PSI and this is just not enough for it to run properly. Stick around to the end and I'll show you the compression after the repair and the blower running.
If you want to get your blower back up and running I do recommend new parts.
(Make sure of your part numbers before you order)

I'm problem getting air gas correct. I've gotten it running open and blowing nice but it dies out. The needle pins I wore to one part the air one will not stay . It keeps unscrewing so I added a hose on top instead of use the stupid tool which by use tool , I inadvertently stripped the threading on
Does un screwing close air or clock wise increase air. ?

HI, clock wise is less fuel, counter clock wise is more fuel. From the sounds of it you might just need a new carburetor..

Why the notch on the piston, where the ring is located should be towards the flywheel?
    Thanks

I have one and i think something that is liquid inside something and it sounds rough when pulling it but i to want to work, it seems to tedious to work on this machine because already have a bg 86 that almost new. Do you it worth it to fix?

HI. I can't answer if it's worth it to fix. For me, I don't mind spending time on something if the repair won't cost much. I would take out the spark plug and pull it a few times to see if anything comes out. You might even take off the muffler too and try to get a look at the cylinder to see if it looks bad.

Checked compression on one. 60 psi, should be 100 or better. Cylinder, piston and carb are $155. For another $20, can have a new one.

@@haroldlundberg5676 Seems like there were some aftermarket cylinders and pistons. Definitely for the carburetors.
