- Self propelled not working right? In this video I describe how to replace the drive cable on the Husqvarna push lawn mower. It's an easy job you can do yourself and save some money. The mower in the video is an LC221RH and uses this cable:

I got the cable attached, now to find the hole to attach the spring. Working on my garage floor would be a lot easier if it was on a work bench.
Yes I understand! I don't like working on the floor either. Sometimes when my bench is tied up with something else, I'll unfold one of those plastic tables that the legs unfold. They work great for a push mower bench...

I have the right cable and I don’t have enough tension in my cable. 🤷♂️
Do you have the right belt? Is there a tension adjustment? A spring that holds tension? Without seeing it all I can do is guess... 😊
I can't figure how to get the lower end of the cable into the pulley bracket. Any suggestions?

How do you add the little spring
Which spring?
The spring that attaches to transmission on lc21rh
One side goes to the trans-axle and one side goes to the frame at 3:14. The side that goes to the transmission attaches to the belt guard bracket (I think). Without seeing it I can't remember for sure which exact hole it went to.@@RonSchneider-y4q
I wonder if I could upgrade my lc221a AWD that just uses a standard bail for tensioning the drive belt to one of these autowalk handles
