ALL 21 STIHL BLOWERS - Reviewed & Compared here: ruclips.net/video/kEpu0qTNPd8/видео.html
Nice job ! Appreciate you taking the time to do this.
Al Blaze sent me. Thank you for supporting him and the great work that he does for the community. Now I am here to support your channel.
I own both the Echo 9010 and the Stihl 800C and for blowing leaves, especially wet ones. There's no comparison. The Echo 9010 is a beast!!!
Thanks for sharing.
@@mainstreetmower The echo pb 9010t, redmax ebz 8560 and 8550 that are more powerful than the br 800ce
In Part 2 of this video, we discuss the Features, Comfortability, and Accessibility of these same backpack blowers.

Loved the video 👏 👏 I own the Stihl BR800. I feel comfortable blowing the leaves here in Wisconsin. We are almost done for the season, I'm planning on getting the Echo 9010 for the next year after watching the video. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻great job, you guys 👏 👏
Sounds great! Thank you Fernando.
This is the most entertaining comparison video I have seen. Really great job! I was leaning towards the Husqvarna, but thinking about the Stihl now. Heard too many comments about the noise level of the Echo to consider.
Thank you so much. Really glad that you liked the video.
Al Bladez had me or asked us his viewers and fans to come and subscribe and give you all some love and thank you for helping him out it's an honor and a blessing to see to someone sponsor in help this young man out working it and bless others with his mowing and free cuts God bless
Thank you Rodney. Appreciate you stopping by. Al's great work deserves all the support.
My motor just blew on my backpack blower I had last week so, I’ve been watching videos trying to figure out which brand is better and what model…. This video by far was the most informative! You guys are awesome…. I really appreciate y’all!
We appreciate you watching! Thank you!
So.....which one are you going to buy???
@@donmayberryjrsOPE I went with the Echo 9010. I was between the echo 9010 and a stihl 800 but the echos power is insane so I went with that!
So happy you made the comparison charts. First weigh in I looked to grab a pen and pad for notes then didn’t even need it
haha love to hear that. You can always expect that from our videos 🙂
Simple note to take. Don't be fooled that echo is 100000% the best and most powerful blower on the market.
thanks for the great effort gentlemen. good job. i just finagled a husq560 used less than 10 times for $240. blown away by the performance. score!!
Great deal. Thank you for sharing.
I remember using a stihl like that for lawn maintenance, fall clean ups, every thing. And I was amazed, just about every time I used it at how long I could run it on 1 tank!
Agreed. Fuel efficiency is definitely something STIHL has mastered.
I’ve had my stihl 800 mag for two years, I’m still amazed by the power. Dry leaf’s,wet leaf’s, acorn’s, stick’s, snakes, and snow are not a problem for the 800. I have noticed that it doesn’t like cheap gas so I’ve been running mid-grade gas and premium mix in it and it’s help’s out greatly during the winter months during storage.
That's awesome. Thank you for sharing. Hope you liked the video.
Yes all gas blower company's recommended Premium Grade ethanol free gas, Husqvarna even goes as far as adding a 5 year warranty if you run there premixed fuel, although I don't know how they would be able to prove the difference
I try and keep premium gas in all my two cycles motors and man it makes a fair difference
I decided on the echo 9010 today…. Just brought it home…. I love it, but holy crap is it loud! Thanks for helping me decide!
Great Buy. Hope you enjoy the Echo.
Great videos. Criminally underviewed
😀 Thank you! Your comments will help with that!
Great video! I'm in the market for one of these and your video really helped! Thank you!
That's awesome. Which one did you go with?
@@mainstreetmower I think I'm going to pick up an Echo this week! It was a hard decision not to go with Stihl after this video though.
I have been using Echo PB 8010 since 2018 in harsh Canadian winter months. It is still going and I am happy that I bought Echo.
That's awesome JT. Thank you for sharing.
Al Bladez sent me over to check out your channel. Al is well deserving of that mower. That was so kind of your company!
Thank you Donna.
Excellent presentation and editing on the video guys. About the only thing I thought could be added would be to actually drain/measure the fuel after the 32oz run time test was finished. Some fuel may have been left because of the pickup height and angle. Different models may have the pickup tilted or higher/lower when wearing the device . Your data still shows fuel efficiency. Either way, great job on the tests. I've only used Stihl backpack blowers in the past but would consider the Echo. Is there one manufacture you sell more blower repair parts for then others?
Thank You Tim! I don’t have good enough data on lifetime expense to make any statements on that. I can say that Stihl is the best selling for good reason
I joined you guys channel because of what you did for our blades I think that was awesome especially for what he does for other people that need it and then tell me you guys are pretty classy I would I join your channel and will support you thank you and God bless you all
Have an Echo PB8010T that's lights out awesome. Half the cleanup time of my last blower, less time, less fuel (not for it's efficiency but for it's speed), less hassle.
That's awesome. Thank you for sharing Thomas
Awesome video! I've got a 9010 and a BR600. The only thing keeping me from switching to the BR800 is you can't see through the fuel tank on the Sthil. I know it's stupid, just fill it up every couple of jobs and forget about it, but it still bugs me every time I look at the 600.
Thanks for the comment Blackbeard!
I run a br800x and you can see the fuel through the tank just fine. I look through it daily with no problems to see if I need fuel. If that's only reason why you don't need to worry about it cause you can see just fine man.
@@randallbuffington2324 I bought an 800C for this leaf season, and it's the same tank. Maybe it's because I'm in NE Ohio and there is no sun here, or maybe it's because I use Red Armor oil, but you really have to look hard to be sure what the fuel level is.
That being said, I don't care. While it's not quite as powerful as the 9010, it's close enough, and the side start is wonderful!
@@randallbuffington2324 Exactly my reaction. Thank you for sharing.
Look into a e3 spark plug actually have seen multiple test and it does gain MPG and runs better than a champion or NGk I'm 3yrs into my swap of plug brands and it made the biggest difference in my lawnmower engines on fuel economy fewer refills on the same number of yards was impressive
But I have a shindawa 810 blower basically a echo but red and I love it especially the back vents to cool you off in the summer
Personally I don’t have any experience using any of them except I own a 2018 Redmax EBZ 8500 and it’s great! Has tons of power and isn’t too heavy and fits comfortable. Fires up within 1-3 pulls even after its sat for months or is freezing cold. Super reliable machine. Only minor thing is i’de prefer a right handed trigger throttle setup instead of the odd hip throttle. But again the hip throttle offers less moving pieces that could potentially break so it’s even more reliable with the hip throttle so all around it’s a great machine and looks amazing too. I love the color and shape of it. Looking at getting a throttle conversion for it and getting a rack to mount it to my open 5x8 utility trailer!
That's great info. Thank you for sharing. We did have the Redmax EBZ8560 in this comparison video and unfortunately it didn't match up to the power of the other blowers in this comparison. However, what matters at the end of the day is how relevant it is to the user and the needs of the user who is using it. We're glad your EBZ500 is serving you well. Hopefully it lasts a long time for you.
The Stihl looks like it has a tapered end. That would make a big difference in the battery test, as the air would be directed into a smaller, more powerful area.
That's fair. I didn't notice that it was tapered but yes that could have played a very slight part in it.
flipping awesome test thanks y'all !
Thank you. We're glad you liked it.
love this show of true value in shop testing of great products ..
Thank you. That is our prime objective. To give the viewers a true testing of stats, regardless of what the manufacturer says the stats are. Hopefully we can see another subscriber in you. 😀
I've had a br800 and a echo 8010t the echo moved more leafs real world but its good to see red max is still competitors same with Husqvarna i had a smaller one was quiet and always started no issues never had a red max but have heard good things about them
Love this video great job
Man I was on the fence so long about what blower I should get to blow all my car batteries out of my driveway thank you so much for this video!
The search is over 😂
Thank you for giving Blade mower. He sent me to your channel!
Ofcourse, Al does such great work that I wanted to show my support however possible. Thank you for checking out our channel though, hope you enjoy the content on here too.
Really great comparison video guys, I sure learnt a lot and was surprised by the battery test results. Looks as if you can’t beat the Germans, the best fuel economy and the winner of the battery test.
Thanks Joe, glad you liked the video.
I have a 9010 but want a lighter blower for yards. Especially in the summer when it’s over 100 degrees, that echo gets really heavy towards late afternoon.
What would be a good pick, being lighter, while also keeping up with blowing off driveways. (Not having to stop and stand there because blower can’t keep up.)
BR600 is light and has power
Would love to see the difference in leaves as that’s my #1 use case. Interesting info here I liked it.
Awesome.
Echo all day for me, but I do have a BR 600 that I Ike after sidewalk edging, because of the smaller tube. I do think that the 9010 tube size hurt it for your tests. My buddy has a lawn business as well and he has the Br 700 & 800, and he agrees that for cleanups, his stilhs can't touch the echo 8010 & 9010. Overall great video. Thanks 👍🏾
Thank you for sharing Shawn.
Awesome video thank you guys for doing the work to help us all out
Glad you like it david 🙂
good info. thanks!
Great video. How bout a STIHL BR350 vs HUSQVARNA 150BT?
Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to make a great video. I was at Lowes today and looked at the Husqvarna 570 BTS and it was $70.00 off. I need a stronger blower for my property. I would like to see a video comparing some chainsaws. Thank you again for your videos.
Glad I could help! We'll see if we could put a chainsaw comparison out.
Hey guys, I just watched AL Bladz video where you had given him a Toro mower. What a cool thing!
Thank you Lora. It was a pleasure assisting Al in doing the great work he does for the community. Glad you stumbled to our channel, hope you enjoy the content on here too.
Wow! Really interesting.
Is there a warranty difference in these machines?
Thanks for the info
My pleasure :)
i have had all the blowers to blow big piles of leaves echo beat stihl by far and by a lot of distance. the redmax and husky were about 1 foot less in the blowing distance then the echo 9010. on acorns the Stihl was great at getting them out of the grass compared to the others. In my opinion id buy a echo redmax or husky for leaf power and if you deal with a lot of acorns then use a Stihl for that if you don't deal with acorns a lot I would not waste the money on the Stihl and stay with echo redmax or husky but the echo is a lot louder then all the others and you definitely want hearing protection running the echo.
Great insight Peter. Thank you for haring your results here. We're sure they'll be helpful for other viewers in making their decisions.
Awesome! helped me decide on which unit I will go with.
Awesome. Which one did you end up choosing?
@@mainstreetmower Stihl br800. I love a girl but I’ve been more and more partial disturb after preferring their chainsaws over anyone and really Enjoy the different field of the weedeaters versus ago. It just seems like it still is a little bit more reliable and needs less maintenance to keep them going
@@Rainbownites That's awesome. You'll love all the stihl vs other brands comparison videos on our channel. Do check them out. 😀
Just had my BR800 CE stolen from my van. along with everything else. Back to the drawing board for me wondering if there's better options now
We're very sorry to hear that Jacky. Hopefully you will be back to where you left off in no time.
Hey Al sent me over I see just in time to see which is the better blower 😊
Intresting the relationship between volume and pressure..
What about the Stihl BR 800 C-E blower with the pull start?
It’s very nice, we just left out some of the variants from all the brands. However, we did compare the 800C-E to other STIHL models for Fuel Efficiency. It's here if you wanna check it out: ruclips.net/video/L6o94HnLd7w/видео.html
As an owner of Echo I already knew the fuel economy was a sore spot, however though I have no regrets buying it I also am not a commercial user, other determining factors were parts availability and how many more places I can get echo parts as opposed to stihl.
Those are very fair factors to consider. We're glad you're enjoying your Echo. Thank you for sharing.
While the battery test was fun I wouldn’t put too much weight in the results. It’s more of a user skill based test so it’s good to see they didn’t put too much weight in its results. Cool vid
Thank you. You get the point of that test. A lot of people kind of got mad about that test not being absolutely accurate.
maybe try different oils for fuel economy l use Amsoil Sabre at 100/1. thanks again great video 😌
Thank you for the suggestion. Do you run any of the blowers we compared in this video? Would love to hear a real life testimony on these blowers have been working for you.
Br200 br500 br600. 🙂
Doesn't the size of the opening at the end of the tube affect the amount of force exiting? Wider opening gives greater width distribution of force but less power at any given point. I have the Zenoah, the Japan distribution of Redmax. I love the hip control. It has been great, especially after putting in chest and hip straps for better stability on my back.
Of course it does. There is no one number that can fully quantify the effectiveness of the airstream. That’s why there is mph (speed) and CFM (volume), and depending on what you’re doing with the blower you care about one number or the other. So the idea that “Newtons” is somehow better is nonsense.
Perfectly summarized
Great video. One thing to note, the same person dominated the battery competition. Operator skill is too big a factor in that test.
21 years in this game. Pound for pound our firm moves more leaves and cuts more grass than any other. I have decades of experience with all of these blowers. Here are a few things that I know. Husqvarna and red max are the exact same blower just different color. Redundant test there. The most nimble blower is the Stihl. Most powerful blower is the Echo. The best all around blower is the Red Max. Pound for pound the Stihl is best. If you have young and strong team members the Echo is the best. Some of our older staff members prefer the Stihl or the mid model Echos. The best blower for you and your team is different based on your physical makeup as well as that of your team. Good luck.
Love this advice. Thank you for sharing.
Take the 800 vs 9010.. 41 Newton's versus 47 Newtons. If 9010 finishes an hour long job 3 minutes faster than the 800. In 620 hrs it's finished 1,860 minutes faster or 31 hrs faster for the year. So if I bill out at 70$ per man hour I just made 2,170$ more in the same 620 period than the 800. $2170 - $623 (fuel cost difference) = 1547$ more profit in 620 hrs. Multiply that out by 5 9010s for the crew and that 7,735$ per year more revenue. We use BR600's for everyday use but the 90/80-10's come out in the Spring/Fall cleanups here in Michigan..
Dude you rock, love it, your right! Thank you for taking our math a step further.
You forgot to calculate in the person using the backpack lol
if you're billing per hour your losing 3 minutes per hour... now if you bill by the job and pay by the hour to employees then your right. and I think that's what you meant, but many people think if they work harder they make more... but if your getting paid by the hour it's not worth it.
You didn't factor time loss for refueling.
Also, consider the weight difference may affect speed/endurance on a heavy usage job.
you forgot maintenance of adjusting valves and they self destruct with low hrs. and weird sound it makes.. i had br600.
Cool video and tests but how about testing them blowing grass and leaves? 🤷♂️
What about oil gas mixture maybe 🤔 it’s better with red Armour mix for the echo?
All of the blowers ran off Stihl Ultra, the synthetic, I really don’t think you can beat that
Personally I run belray h1r 60:1 in my stuff… I find the oil is way better at lubricating then the stihl oil… but it has a higher flashpoint so it stays around longer so it’s great if you run your stuff hard… if you don’t run it hard it tends to load up and get Smokey until you clear it out
In my opinion to have a good blower test is to bring them here in South Texas when we have the oak leafs and pollen and when it is wet that would be a good test on those blowers and I know which one would win the test.
That does sound like a tough test? Which one wins though?
@@mainstreetmower in my opinion Echo
Used many blowers over the years, test are great but it's in the field where it counts. I personally wouldn't swap my 580BTS for anything! That said, if it died, I would consider the BR 800! As the Husky is soo reliable, it may be the BR1000 by then!
Agreed. It all comes down to the performance in the field. That is why we love to hear from real life users. Thank you for sharing.
Why not 9010? Because it’s Asian?
@@spacejockey4746 Yes...the 9010 is hands down the most powerful. I own all of these ...
Whats your opinion on the less expensive ECHO PB-580T vs the Husqvarna 150BT?
Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about them to give an opinion
@Main Street Mower I appreciate your honesty, Thanks anyhow 👍🏼
I own the echo and the stihl 800x..
My favorite is stihl but the echo on leaves blows the stihl away. I've use to run red max but found they only lasted 1.5 then they lost power.
That's great to hear. Matches to what we found through are tests. Thank you for sharing.
Now do a snow test since I use my br600 for snow more than leaves
I think a lot of these force tests are really just based on that carburateur tuning and fan rpm at full throttle.
I agree with the facts I’ve had all these blowers in real world echo 9010 blows all them out the park and I’ve heard lesss fuel because clean ups were finished quicker
We mostly agree (with all tools, not just blowers) time and efficiency trump all other factors. Mins per property mean hours per week means more profits at the end of the year.
@@mainstreetmower I’ve had the echo 9010 and it got stolen I’ve had the redmax 8550 I’m wanting to know if the redmax has changed in power I don’t know anyone that has one to compare I try to spend money smart as I can I’m just wanting to know comparison to 9010 pros and cons
@@dustingiles2043 Hope this video helped with that. Thank you for sharing.
do you think there will ever be a battery powered leaf blower that will be better than a gas/petrol leaf blower?
Ever? Yes, but not anytime real soon. Lithium batteries are heavy and blowers are heavy power consumers. A Stihl AR3000 battery on a BGA200 is as close as you can get currently. It has 21 newtons of force and a long run time, but it’s cumbersome and expensive. $1700-1800 all in before tax
Just wondering … why are you considering a battery blower?
I bought a 580 husky and took it back and bought a new echo cause my older 8010 echo would blow more leaves and sticks farther
That's fair. Thank you for sharing Arthur.
Pretty good stihl commercial. Noticed all the stihl products you have in ur store.
We are a STIHL dealer. We mention that ourselves in most of our videos.
So no bias at all? I noticed all the Stihl stuff too!
Maybe you should also switch sides for the echo and Redmax.
I’ve heard a lot of great things about both echo and redmax and surprised of the results in this video
Yeah us too
Great video great analysis thanks a ton 👌

I have a Husqvarna 570BTS and it is a beast. Might throw on a Stihl or Echo backpack at some point for something different
Yes, let us know if you feel a difference.
Just got an echo 9010
What type of gas do I use for this blower?
High octane gas + air cool oil mixed 50:1
@@mainstreetmower thank you

I used Echo power blend gold oil and 92 octane gas 1:40
Is there anyone that uses the Echo 9010 for everyday lawn care and leaf season, or would the 770T be more well rounded for that?
We are interested in knowing that as well. What's the consensus within the RUclips Landscapers Community?
@@mainstreetmower Only used for Leaf Cleanups and bigger sized properties.
I have experience with the Echo PB770t the Echo 9010t as well as the Shindaiwa EB802rt as well as Stihl BR600...I would say my preference for day in day out usage goes to the pb770 and the br600's (depending if you have a Stihl or Echo preference-I like the Echo personally)...for a major clean-up - hands down, I would choose the 9010...I run the Shindaiwa because its made in Japan reliability and I was able to buy it on clearance new old stock...wish I purchased the pb770 tho for the comfort of the pads and the cooling vents in the summer weather...a 9010 is on the wishlist but over $1k CAD w/tax ouch!
@@kirkthebeerslinger Thank you for your honest opinion. I have Echo and Stihl close to me with my Echo dealer being more reliable, but I like the adjustable hose on the BR450.
I do it is an awesome blower the extra weight is nothing really I got used to it fast and it does everything fast. As far as leaves it's crazy I had a customer offer her wheel blower but the 9010 was much faster.
AL Blaze said I should say hey.😂
Hey john
I own a Maruyama BL 8000 and its great tons of power !!! Paid around $ 500.00
Current price $656 and no dealer network means no support and parts, I would not recommend
Thank You
Thank you for watching.
I agree the pb 9010t would win the force test because of the how much power compared to most backpack blowers. My favorite blower is redmax 8550. That was not 1,000 cfm 220mph to me that was the ebz 8550.
Great choice. Thanks for sharing.
thx for this competition this was exactly what i was looking for...wau 500 Dollars per year that's alot...i know i wanted the stihl i know do know how much it is more efficient. I am still running my BR320 for more than two decades now. And it is still running fine. I guess it's time for the BR 800! Greetings from germany.
We're glad we were of help. Thank you! 😎
Why not include the Shindaiwa EB910-RT? The only blower that tries and throw the guys and myself off of roof when using it up there. I’ve used them all for my lawn, landscaping and tree businesses and none of them out power that blower. All of my other equipment is all Stiihl, including all my top end chainsaws.
The shindaiwa is the same blower as the echo 9010, we felt like it was a bit redundant to include
@@mainstreetmower yea I think Echo may have built that blower but just released it through Shindaiwa first. I remember I bought the Shindaiwa the day it came out and it was currently the most powerful at the time. Not sure when the echo version came out.
Wehe is the carbon fiber echo
Try the Schroeder back pack blower..German made
We will check it out. Thank you for the suggestion.
I run the red max 8550 for my landscaping company. They get the job done and I like them, but most importantly, the dealership I use for my mowers is a licensed redmax dealer and service center.
That's great. We always say that the regardless of what mower you have, it's only going to be as good your dealer is.
@@mainstreetmower 100% true
The battery across the floor test is *very* operator bias ! If you get the air flow under the battery it will shoot across the floor with ease
I like everything about the Stihl except the 4 mix they use. It makes the engine slightly more complicated and requires valve adjustments. (time & $) My dad has the Stihl and I have the Husky. Both perform well and do the job. His Stihl did have to get a new short block under warranty soon after delivery as it developed a "knock" of some sort after only a few hours. Another important factor when choosing any equipment is the availability of service and parts. Some locales don't offer dealers or repair facilities for warranty of some brands. For example, where I live getting Shindaiwa or Redmax equipment serviced would be very difficult, particularly under warranty.
The 4-mix engine is proven and reliable, valve adjustment is simple and rarely needed. To us it’s worth the torque and efficiency. Engine warranty isn’t common but like you said, good Stihl warranty dealers are almost everywhere when you do need one and parts are always available.
@@mainstreetmower Does the Stihl BR800 still require a 50:1 fuel/2-stroke oil mixture?
@@samwimpy2600 yes
The battery blow test is worthless in my opinion. I bought the 9010T Echo after running the Husqvarna 580 for about 8 years. That Husqvarna was built tough, fuel efficient and was still running strong when I sold it. The Echo 9010 blew its doors off when it comes to leaves and debris movement. One of my competitors bought the Stihl because of weight and fuel efficiency for his guys. We swapped blowers for a few lawns in the same area we were working. The Stihl did not come close to moving the volume of debris as the Echo. The Echo doesn't feel as heavy to me as advertised, but I'm a big guy. But the Stihl was noticeably lighter. I would even say more comfortable over Echo. Also the Echo is louder and sounds like a dirt bike. With that said, the echo improved my clean up times dramatically. I'm not talking 5 minutes, more like saving 15 minutes on average lawns I do being solo. The negatives of the 9010 after using it since it came out. No chest strap, if you're wearing a windbreaker etc type jacket, it wants to slide off no matter how you adjust it. The tube where you rotate wears easily and gets stuck and there's nothing offered for recall as far as I know. Fuel isn't really an issue. It knocks out jobs so fast I hardly run it more than a few mins on normal jobs and rarely at full throttle unless it's wet material. No need to.
At the end of the day I value efficiency and time savings. But the older I get I value COMFORT even more. I've strongly been considering the Stihl for the lighter normal season stuff and reserving the Echo 9010 for the heavy load work. But I currently use the Echo daily along with the best hand held blower no longer made, the Hitachi. At the end of the day these blowers like all equipment are bought based on crew size, needs, properties and reliability and toughness. I think wise business owners need to run each of them before buying. What works for me, may not work for you.
Awesome first hand real world info, thank you!
I agree with your assessment completely...
For me the most important thing is do I have a dealer nearby that can service my gear. That's the brand I'll get. The top models are all good. I got a Stihl simply because that's what my closest dealer sold and what my buddies have so we can swap parts if we need. I'm just a homeowner so my experience is different.
This right here is everything. That's the biggest advice we give to everyone landscaper we meet.
What about the valves on the stihl that needs to be adjusted and that is far more moving parts?
The Stihl requires one valve adjustment at 120 hrs, if needed
The sales guy demonstrated the raw power of the 8010 by pushing a brick across the shop parking lot. "Sold" I said. However, I never counted on the thing constantly trying to spin me clockwise...it's got so much grunt that I really have to work to keep it under control. 6ft 225lb male, so I'm no small fry. For outright raw power...the Echo has it.
These blowers, and specially the Echo, are a LOT of power. Unless you are someone who uses them professionally, it could come off as a bit of a surprise.
My echo is 4 1/2 years old and it is like day one
Love to hear that, no matter what brand.
they say the BR800ce has more power than the x try the ce next time great video 😊 the tubs are different
Thank you for the suggestion Harry. We actually compared that blower to other STIHL models for Fuel Efficiency. It's here if you wanna check it out: ruclips.net/video/L6o94HnLd7w/видео.html
@@mainstreetmower you guys have the best mower shop very ok professional 👍😁
@@harryerhart5978 Thank you so much Harry. That's means a lot.
I watch all your videos 🙂
@@harryerhart5978 Thank you Harry. We keep making more videos only because of support like that.
StihlBR800X is the better overall with those results especially fuel efficiency.
You’d need to factor vibration to the user as well, but I’m gathering there’s not much of a difference, surprised Redmax was the dearest of them all.
Warranty and services would need to be considered as well.
Rick, those are all very considerable factors. Thank you for sharing. We wanted to keep the video under a specific time limit. That's why we had to leave out some categories for comparison. We will definitely consider these for our next video.
Wrong. 9010 all the way. Plenty of confirmation bias here in this thread and from the reviewer guy. Shit, he even has Stihl stuff behind him in the video 😂
Nice job god blesd
Thanks John!
The echo cheats like Ford with that Venturi port on the end of the tube it sucks the air surrounding the end of the tube but it also creates a diffusing effect it increases the amount of air at the tip but it is all scattered about and not a good straight stream. Ford does this to pass emissions if you look at the tip on a Forsyth exhaust there is a section about 8 to 10 inches back where there are these slits they are designed to suck in fresh air. But when your blowing leaves an grass that diffuse air isn’t really a negative
Soy de Argentina perdón por mi inglés sory my english is not good great video whats win whats winner?
@@mainstreetmower hola hello thanks very much hola muchas gracias y red max es de sinsaiwa ?
@@38116030 Ningún RedMax es propiedad de Husqvarna. Los adquirieron en 2007.
I own both and the echo 9010 is by far the the biggest baddest blower on the market 11/2023
Love how you left the date stamp there haha.
@@mainstreetmower well they make new one yearly it seems
That's where my stinkin' G2 blue pen went!
Hahah. Sorry about that Kyle. That pen belongs to Marketing now.
The fuel consumption test tells me the the stihl has more power to gain with a mufler mod and a re tune.
Can you show us how?
@@mainstreetmower ya i don't see guys doing it as much with blowers but there are dozens of channels doing it with chainsaws . I do it with modern ktm motorcycles. If you want to send me that blower I figure out how and show you
@@adambatchelder4121 stihl runs a 4 mix engine compared to the rest running 2 cycle engine. 4 mix has valves like a four stroke and a power stroke every 4 cycles exactly like a 4 stroke hence the improvement in economy
@@2_be_determined gotcha, we have played with the 4 mix engines a little bit . To be honest I thought still gave up on that design. Its kinda a 3 stroke lol. Good to know I'll stick with the 2 stroke engines.
Every test was not a real comparison. The ECHO has the biggest motor so it would naturally run out first.. the battery test the fastest mph would win.. every time..then the pound test I think would be the most accurate but still not great.. it all matters how much work you get done in a given period of time.. that’s it
That's a fair point Michael. Human skill and training will ultimately dictate the actual work being done in a given period of time. We did these testing to highlight different strengths and weaknesses of these blowers, so that the human can get a little assistance in the direction best suited for them..
I saw a major difference in tube design. Stihl has a tube design different.
It his tube is chocked downs . Its make a difference
absolutely. Stihl's tube design is pretty innovative and cutting edge.
