Ring around the Roseys about the Black plague the ashes ashes we all fall down is about burning the bodies that were diseased. London bridge falling down is about when the London bridge collapsed when it was first built killed several people. Whether it's telling someone or calling a help line, there are ways to get out of those situations. No one has to be treated like that."
Want lighthearted KoRn? They did a mashup with Dem Franchise Boys, Comin Undone Wit It that is great. They have a cover of Word Up by Cameo from the 80s. Korn gets very whiny and annoying. Plus their record label is very protective of their IP. This was the album that they fell off for me. I'd even say that Follow the Leader (98) was where I couldn't take anymore. A lot of these bands had only one speed. The lead singer used to do drugs early in the band. And he quit drugs cold turkey with no rehab during the recording of this album. And he said he thought he was really losing his mind. But he realized he was just detoxing from not doing any drugs and alcohol. If you look up the background to some of their albums every album is about something the lead singer was going through at the time. when he said "its going to be better tomorrow" he was mocking the concept and being sarcastic. because that is most peoples answer.. "it gets better" etc. which means absolutely nothing at all to someone who is hollow and falling away or been beaten down.
I think you should do a song on a bad day!! We could totally suggest songs that would either help or escalate those feelings, but no one else on RUclips shows their bad days, so I think it'd SO COOL if you guys did a reaction like that. Even more so because a lot of these metal songs help US on bad days, and maybe they can help you guys too! It'd be a whole new level of "real" tbh, I'd absolutely respect you guys for showing the rougher side, no matter how the video goes.
The way I relate the lyric “beating me down” is my own thoughts going to far and overthinking things, to anyone thinking like this, you need a friend to show you what your problem is so you can try to fix it, that’s why happened to me.
Just started following you guys. I really appreciate how open minded you are to Metal. It may look or sound dark, but often has a positive message for all of us 😁 As reactions go, Mudvayne are my favourite band. Their 1st album was revolutionary and still kicks ass over 20 years later (makes me feel old!). Please react to a song called 'Dig'. The choice of video is yours. The official video shows you them in all their wonderful makeup but it's heavily censored and it really takes you out of the song, where as a lyric video would be more beneficial and help you understand what he's saying 🤣. But... The shock factor to the visuals on the official video is always worth it! Great content. Keep it up 🤘🤘
As a Korn kid in high school, I didn’t stop listening to their music in high school. Their first album was my favorite, and I would just listen to it on repeat. Their music can be HARD to listen to, but me being what I perceived as one of the freaks or rejects, they were the soundtrack to my life in high school. Seeing them live in 1998 the year I graduate was the highlight to my year. Love Korn. You should check out the Deftones as well. Start with shove it or change. You guys will really dig the Deftones. A lot of Korn and Tool fans are also massive Deftones fans. So they’re in that same era of metal and rock… also the song Rocket Skates by the Deftones, which is from one of their later albums is a good intro to them.
This is one of my favorite songs by Korn. This song made me a Korn fan for lift. I can listen to this all day. I love songs with emotion and this has emotion. Listen to Alone I Break.
The “it’s going to be tomorrow” part is the lie you tell yourself when you’re in that headspace. You WANT to think it will be better tomorrow, but you know it won’t. He’s denying his depression as a problem. At least that’s what I took from it as someone who went through suicidal depression.
I think Brad is more a NUMetal guy and Lex is going to be more a Death core Metal fan lol
I can see that. Lex seems to dig intricate guitar, which Nu-Metal bands are not going to be able to provide.

I used to fall asleep to Korn and Slipknot all the time as a kid and I'm only slightly crazy haha!!! I find that Metal music can be very relaxing
It's also been proven that metal music makes plants grow better. While country music slows them down. 😂
@@DerangedVoices I don't know if any of that's true or not however considering metal music makes me want to do stuff and grow as a person and cookie cutter country makes me want to kill myself I think that it is in fact true LOL!!! My plants love Metal!!! Haha
Brad is going to love Linkin Park.
Child Abuse.Should watch the original video.
I definitely prefer the lyric video over blurring it out. Nice work! Great reaction!
when he said "its going to be better tomorrow" he was mocking the concept and being sarcastic. because that is most peoples answer.. "it gets better" etc. which means absolutely nothing at all to someone who is hollow and falling away or been beaten down.
My 66 yr old mother loves korn. I used to make her mixed tapes/cds for the car.
Korn and other bands helped me thro depression and from committing I also had my guitar to help
Soft core metal lol. Beautiful ! Pantera Pantera Pantera? I’m Broken!
This song was my introduction to Korn and to metal in general, been one of my top Korn songs ever since, as well as Got the Life.
Definitely check out, Korn - Thoughtless
If u watched the official video?...its the continuation of the freak on a leash video
you must listen to 'Blind' by Korn. Lex would love it!
That beat is fresh no matter the subject matter. Jonathan is a twisted genius
Soft core metal! Yessss! Lol. Pantera time. “Domination” live in MOSCOW 1991!
The beginning of this song always puts me in some kind of mood. It's so eerily beautiful and the music video as a kid always bummed me out
Just started following you guys. I really appreciate how open minded you are to Metal. It may look or sound dark, but often has a positive message for all of us 😁
As reactions go, Mudvayne are my favourite band.
Keep it up 🤘🤘
it is about depression lol damn welcome back middleschool
Watch the actual video it helps explain the song
Song is about dealing with depression and suicide
This is one of my favorite songs by Korn. This song made me a Korn fan for lift. I can listen to this all day. I love songs with emotion and this has emotion. Listen to Alone I Break.
It's about abuse and depression/sui*****.
React to exist by avenged Sevenfold please
Lmao, Brad's face when Lex suggested using this like a lullaby for the kids! xD
You should look at "black is the soul" and "can you hear me?" By KoRn I think you would dig them.
The “it’s going to be tomorrow” part is the lie you tell yourself when you’re in that headspace. You WANT to think it will be better tomorrow, but you know it won’t. He’s denying his depression as a problem. At least that’s what I took from it as someone who went through suicidal depression.
