    This is my latest purchase.. Amazing! I had an ES300 prior to this which I loved and never had one ounce of problems...Just getting older . It was a 2002 model and still beautiful. Just time to update after 20 years. I grew up with family owning Mercedes from the 60's. Whilst the Mercs are beautiful....This thing is amazing and long lasting. Only Lexus now forever.

      @@SergCarReviews dude, I went into Lexus today randomly to check out the IS350 2020. The dealer showed me the ES300h luxury sport snd I was blown away.
      Your videos have really helped me and I have shared your channel around far and wide.
      I have found a 2019 ES300h luxury sports for $67k with 3000km on kt, but its 2019.
      I am confused, should I go for the new 2020 demo ($79k) or this 2019? Are there any differences between the two?
      Or would you recommend waiting till 2021?

    • @SergCarReviews
      @SergCarReviews  3 года назад +1

      Hahah that’s frkin awesome and I’m so glad to hear that!! And wait up are you from Australia too? Cos those sound like Aussie prices. I actually work for the dealership and basically between a 2019 and 2020 there aren’t any differences. The few differences include different coloured volume control and new flap for the USB ports. That’s good value for a 2019 but at the same time we are so close to 2021 it might even be worth the wait to see if they go down (probably not). If possible I would definitely stick to the sports luxury (if not I drive the Luxury in my other video and the car is practically the same) with fewer features of course. But let me know if you have any more questions or if I can help out, would be a pleasure mate 😃 And thanks so much for spreading the channel! Trying to grow as much as I can 😄

      Oh sweet, yeah I am from Aus. I am really liking this private sale at $67k, problem is I have to try and get it from QLD, there are a total of 3 Sports Luxury badges for sales from 2019 (none from 2020 yet)
      Thanks for the tips on the differences, really helps!

      Hey mate, just did some research on that car. It’s definitely a great price for 2019 but a couple of things on the ad are incorrect and a few things to keep in mind as well:
      1. Now looks like he bought it from our dealership. The extra warranty is Not manufacturers warranty and is non transferable.
      2. The paint protection he got is definitely not scratch resistant and the warranty with it again is non transferable.
      3. Transport to NSW will cost $700-800.
      4. Transfer fees are 3% = $2010.
      All of a sudden it’s $70k and only 9k less than a 2020.

    Got mine in April Lexus ES300h. It's the Ultra Luxury trim, which is what we wanted and is the highest trim for the ES hybrid. It is the Cloudburst Gray exterior with Acorn color semi-aniline leather interior.
    Total Installed Packages & Accessories:
    1) Premium Triple-beam LED headlamps;
    2) Smartacess Card Key;
    3) Premium Paint;
    4) Lexus Interface with 12.3-in Multimedia Touchscreen Display;
    5) Ultra Luxury Package;
    6) All weather floor liners and trunk mat;
    7) Door edge film by 3M;
    8) The Preferred Accessory Package; and
    9) The Dealer added a 5-year windshield protection/replacement coverage package and tinted the driver and passenger windows.
    MORE:
    The three-projector headlamp design creates an eye-catching L shape. Adding to this brilliant design, the headlamps feature LED side turn signals, as well as an Adaptive Front Lighting System6 that uses steering and speed sensors to direct the angle of low-beam illumination as the vehicle enters a curve. The Adaptive Front Lighting System monitors steering and speed with a suite of sensors and will automatically adjust the angle of your low-beam headlights to improve visibility on curved roads.
    Ultra Luxury extras:
    1) 18-inch split-five-spoke alloy noise-reduction wheels and Michelin "green" tires;
    2) Power rear sunshade with manual rear-door sunshades;
    3) Power open/close trunk with kick sensor;
    4) 12.3-inch multimedia touchscreen display 10.2-inch Head-Up Display; and
    5) Intuitive Parking Assist with Auto Braking and Rear Pedestrian Detection, and Panoramic View Monitor.
    Averaging 43+ MPG City/Hwy driving and I had the oil and filter changed at 1,000 miles for my own peace of mind. Just For Reference: I was not going to wait one-year or 10,000 miles to have the factory installed oil & filter changed. And, I shall be changing the Oil (Liqui Moly 0W-16 Spec V) and Toyota filter every 5,000 miles from now on. Like Scotty Kilmer says, oil & filters are cheap, engines are expensive. LOL.

      @@SergCarReviews Well, almost six-months in, 6700 miles on the clock. I had the factory oil & filter changed at 1,000 by an Independent Lexus trained mechanic/owner shop just like The Car Care Nut recommends on YT. Took her back to Lexus for that 5,000 mile thing, what a bunch of crap. They basically just checked this and checked that, no oil & filter change. I told them don't wash it or rotate the tires. I have warranty coverage at Discount tires, and they service my tires and I have already had them rotated & balance. I also had her ceramic coated three days after I bought her, and she will never go into a car wash machine unless my life depended upon it. LOL
      After that 5,000 mile check-up, I took it back to my Independent/Owner mechanic (Toyota & Lexus trained) at 5,000+ miles and had the second oil & filter done. Like Scotty Kilmer and The Car Care Nut say, oil & filters are cheap, engines and repairs are expensive. Best $90 bucks for Liqui Moly 0w16 Special Tec AA and an OEM Toyota filter for that engine. Oh, he also lets me watch and ask questions while he is servicing my ES and he checks other things under the hood and makes sure the air pressure is correct in my tires, all included with oil & filter change.

    I can't knock the enthusiasm mate - I would be exactly the same in your shoes. It is an incredible car for the money. I drive the UX 250h but hope to aspire to the ES300h someday. Just a tip on the audio challenges, Rode (From Australia) make the wireless Go system with a clip on mic. If filming outside on windy days, it also has a wind muff. You will never experience problems again. Also it backs up to the transmitter just in case your wireless signal breaks. Other than that 10/10 mate. You should work for Lexus auto sales.

    Great review.
    Most people buy this car for comfort and reliability. No one buys this cos they want to drive it like BMW M3. Many reviewers really put it down because of this without explaining it first. If you are in your 20s or even early 30s and you can afford this then go for sports oriented car like 3 series or even IS300. But if you want comfort without going all the way to LS500 then this will be enough for almost half the price!

    • @SergCarReviews
      @SergCarReviews  8 месяцев назад

      Exactly! It really baffles me when reviewers do that but I think it's because they just get the car for a few hours and the first thing they do is put their foot down and their review is based all on that!
      Since I got to drive these cars every day for days and weeks and get to live with them you really get to understand them!

    I'm thinking of getting this or an older ls460 and use the extra money for fuel. How much quieter and comfier do you think the ls460 was compared to this?

    • @SergCarReviews
      @SergCarReviews  3 года назад +1

      Hey mate, I’ve actually done a full review on the 2014 LS460 with air ride (standard in Aus). The LS is definitely smoother, quieter and softer overall. If you watch the video you will see I do a test where I put a cup of tea in the cup holder without a lid on it and then go around corners and bumpy roads and wyou name it. They are ridiculously comfortable. The only thing with the 460 is that the handling is not the best and at times it can feel boat-like around corners (bit of an exaggeration but hopefully you get it). I actually daily this ES300h and the average is 7L/100klms with aircon and 10 min trip max to work and back. The LS460 would be at least double. Im happy with the ES as a daily but if I had to drive for more than 10mins a day than would definitely prefer the comfort of the 460. Hope this helps :)

    Hi guys, can someone comment on sport mode and sport mode plus? Can it satisfy some sporty need in this car? I am taking es300h fsport into consideration and can't find any review on sport mode

    • @SergCarReviews
      @SergCarReviews  3 года назад +1

      Hi mate! Firstly thank you so much for watching! Now with the ES300h the sport mode doesn’t change the dynamics of the car on the Sports Luxury. It makes it louder and strengthens the throttle response but since the gearbox is a CVT, it does not change how it changes gears.
      Since you are looking at the F-Sport, it gets a Sports + mode which will change the suspension feel because it now has adaptive dampers and will make the ride firmer and stiffer. The car already comes with 19” wheels which already makes it harder and then in Sports + mode even firmer. I’ve driven it and in the Hybrid was rather disappointed because with the firmer suspension I wanted a quicker drive and obviously that doesn’t happen. I might make a video in the near future on the F-Sport but not sure yet.
      If you want to see my acceleration on the ES300h, check out this video and skip to 29:33 -

    Hi Serg, trying to decide between the is300H and the ES300H, saw your vid comparing the two but it still isn't clear which is the best, they seem very similar in terms of performance and features, ES is supposed to have made big improvements in efficiency of both engine and hybrid battery tech but mpg figures are worse than the is300H???Can you clear up the confusion for me?

    • @SergCarReviews
      @SergCarReviews  2 года назад

      Absolutely David! Firstly mate thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate it :)
      So in terms of fuel efficiency the IS300h is 46mpg and ES300h is 49mpg so ES is more fuel efficient.. just.
      Now to simplify which one to choose-
      IS - if you're after a more sporty sensation and tighter feel on the road and you like the snug sports feel in cabin.
      ES - if you're after a very soft and luxury riding car. It's much more of a cruiser and a more enjoyable drive on the open roads. A larger interior cabin to feel a bit more open.
      I hope this helps and please feel free to reach out again if you have any. more questions here or even instagram if its easier. Good luck with the next car and keep me posted!!

      @@SergCarReviews No, Denmark. We have here in Europe 6 versions of the ES to choose from (all hybrids only): Comfort - Limited Edition - Executive - Luxury - F Sport and F Sport S. F Sport and F Sport S have adaptive suspension and the sport seats from the LC - The question is; with our without the adaptive suspension and the sport seats? Some reviewers seem to prefer the Sport seats and the adaptive suspension?!

    Hi serg. I’m a bit confused between Lexus ES300h and Volvo S90. I like the Lexus exterior but Volvo interior and safety is way up market.
    Have to buy a car in couple of months, kindly guide.

      Lexus is the most reliable premium brand! I have a BMW 3 series G20 MY 19 but I'm looking forward to getting an ES 300h as soon as the leasing expires! It's spacious, luxurious, comfortable, not expensive to run and it stands out from the crowd

      vaibhav aggarwal Hi Vaibhav! Firstly thank you so much for watching! I somehow missed your comment so sorry for the late reply! Now I don’t know a lot about the Volvo but I do know how smooth and soft the Lexus is.I can only imagine the Volvo will be quicker and might have bigger screens which some people appreciate. From the little I know about the Volvo I probably wouldn’t be choosing that over a Lexus but probably best idea is to test drive them both and see which one you prefer :-) let me know how you go!
