That is really nice and CRRRRISPY Josh! Thanks for the suggestion for the moving blankets, I do really need to sound treat my studio so it sounds more like yours. How does the Lark do with cell phone interference, i.e. the drhde dhrekfh sound when someone makes a call?

is there a lavalier solution for outside use? I film at car show events. Purchased the Lark. Absolutely love the size and quality. The omnidirectional is not the cleanest. Is there a uni-directional option that you know of? Appreciate your great videos and reviews.

Very good video, thanks for posting it. Parallel surfaces in small rooms can really create audio nightmares. You might want to consider a packing blanket attached to your ceiling, that table you sit/stand behind is a sound reflector champion. You are showing fast and inexpensive ways to deaden a set which can be used on narrative productions as well. Packing blankets should be in every production kit along with light reflectors. Additionally they are useful to control unwanted light spill so they can do double duty at a very low initial cost and time set up expense.

I thought I was the only one who used shotgun mics with wireless transmitters!
I love that setup because I record a lot of panel discussions with four five or six people so normally I'll put one microphone between every two people and connect a transmitter to each shotgun mic.

Great video bro. I’ve tried sing my lark 150 with my iPhone and the rode trs to trrs cable does not work with this set up. Hollyland said they have their own cable which they don’t currently have. Anything you can recommend brother? I know there is a difference in TRS to TRRS as far as the ground and the microphone rings on the two different types of TRRS connectors.

There was a video by iphoneographers channel called "Indie-Friendly Wireless Mic System | HOLLYLAND LARK 150 Review" where he said he had to use a cable from Joby and set the receiver to mono to get it to work.
I've also noticed that the order that you plug in the cables can make a difference. I am using an Android though.
Let us know if you get it to work!

    wop wop wop !!!
Did your Deity D3 pro worked REALLY when plugged to your Lark 150 transmitter ????
I ask because I love this mic I use a lot but it needs to be "recognised" to be triggered when on. It works perfectly on my camera but I have to use phantom power on my Zoom H5 and it never worked on my HF system Synco G1.
So how could it possibly work on the Hollyland ? I just found your video the same day I am looking for such a HF device, please confirm it works (and give an insight on how is it possible on this device and not another one, can't stand feeling stupid).
Many, many, many thanks !!!! (poor english not my mother language)

Yup! Works perfectly fine as soon as the receiver is turned on, the mic will detect and turn on too!
