I reviewed the Lark 150 also, it is a great product! I also love the AirPod style charging solution. Having to charge all the Rode wireless Go II products separately is annoying.
Thanks, man!! I love your channel - been a fan for a while. I’m going to pin your comment so people can watch a real audio guy talk about it 😀😎
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thank you, that is awesome! I appreciate you watching! You did a great job though. Thorough and entertaining. I subbed to your channel about a month ago and even though you have been doing mostly ZV-E10 content, and I have no intention of buying it, I still watch every video because you are hilarious, clever, ravishing and as intelligent as you are gorgeous... which is very! 😂 You really are doing a great job!
@@AudioHotline Thanks, man. That means a lot because I watch your channel for the same reasons. No matter what you’re talking about, I stay for the infotainment!! 👍
Just cancelled my DJI Mic back order (which I was getting because the Rode Wireless Go II was screwing up because I talk like you) and got these. This is the first time you’ve saved me money instead of costing me money. Thanks!
Haha!! I used the lark 150 about 10 mins ago. It’s so great.
I love the charging case! I think that we will start to see that more with other brands. Also, these two brands you mentioned are close in price, therefore , this was an acceptable comparison.
Showcase mode was SOLID!! Next time, sweep the leg!
haha. Acceptably solid 🤣🤣🤣
This video is as informative as it is entertaining, which is very.
Hahaha - if only I had YOUR voice in it - I could have made all the mics sound good🤣
Thanks for the review, man!
So i did it. I'm now a proud owner of a zv-e10 + sigma 16mm 1.4. Glory to the cult!
Since we are at the unique position right now - your channel is still relatively small and you still read comments of mere mortals - i would like to ask you to make a video about YOUR method of working with and grading the HlG3 out of our little Doug here. I would appreciate it! Thanks and keep up the good work!
Congrats!! I actually am making that exact video this week hopefully. I’ll try to include a LUT as well.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis that's music to my ears!
Wow, I like this Mark.I was thinking of the dual Rode Go. I have the single Rode Go and I use it a lot, but I want a dual unit for interviews. If they can fix the issues (I have a Mac), then I will seriously consider this! Thanks for the review Mark!!
Well, as a user of both the original Wireless GO and GO II, I haven't experienced any issues with either iteration that Potato Head..er Jet...has talked about.
Finally here it is.this is a new product, the charging case is kinda big, hope they can make a smaller version mark.now i saw yours and will show mine soon hahaha, just kidding, but yeah i saw one company and cross fingers they reply and make a review :) to be honest,i want to be a Mark mini me but i cant cuz you are the new vlogger who do review and at the same time funny :) this is why i love your channel :)
haha - reach out - see what happens!!
I Bought the Godox Movelink M2 a week ago 😳 this one looks good thanks for the review.
No problem 👍
Nice man, I just reviewed their video transmitter and I would love to check this one too😀
I will check it out
dank je wel! :)
Lark 150 really good ! very well thought out design !
really great design
Its on sale right now I just bought the dual model on amazon for $224 bucks. I can't wait
Nice!! I use this thing so much. Using it right now, in fact 👍
I wish I would have considered the Lark more when I was looking for wireless mics for my channel. The Rode Wireless II is great, but I now need to get lav mics. Having too many issues by clipping it on the collar. I thought I'd use the on-board recording more, but hardly use it.
Thanks for the overview. 🤙
Yeah - the clip by the collar is a no-go for me too.
Does Hollyland sell wind muffs for their lav mics separately?
I've been looking at these ... currently I use multiple Tascam DR10 recorders with lav ... a wireless system might really be convenient. Good show. Cheers
Thanks, JR!! That Tascam I think is one of the best external solutions - but the wireless no syncing is pretty darn good.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Have to agree ... very convenient!
Saramonic Blink, sans charging case, does the same thing (2tx, rx, 2 lav mics) for $50 less or am I missing something? Edit:. This does two channel audio which is different.
If I use a wireless external micrphone, will the Sony ZV-E10 inbuild one out of order? Or can I make working both together? 😃
Are you saying that with Sony mic ECM w2bt you can't adjust the recording level in camera? I can see in camera settings 2: Audio rec level. I thought it works with all microphones regardless of brand and connection.
You cannot adjust the in camera volume on the ECM - gets greyed out and you cannot adjust it. You are forced to use the volume as is or switch to the -10 or -20dB pad. It doesn’t matter if you set the volume ahead of time in the camera either. I tried at level 1, then connected the ECM and the disconnected it, switched to level 20 on the camera and reconnected the ECM the volume was the same
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis that's weird. Did you try on your Sony a7siii? Is it the mic or ZVE10 problem? Another question about wireless mics. I record videos sitting behind the table and the mic transmitter would be blocked by wooden table. Will it still work? When you unboxing for instance, you sit behind the table, you have lav mic on shirt but transmitter on your belt or in the pocket, below the table. Does it work only in clear line of sight?
@@workingwiththelight3119 I tried it on the A7C and got the same result. The Hollyland receiver was hidden by my shirt. I think you should be fine with the table. They’re meant to be used often with the receiver’s hidden you just can hide your entire person behind a wall or something.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis thank you. Much appreciate your help
Sir sony 50mm 1.8 lens suitable for sony zv e10
It's a good lens - but the field of view on the ZV-E10 will be 75mm - which is a suitable for taking portrait photography. If you want video, the camera will have to be quite far away from you.
where did your prores video go?
I took it down because I wanted to redo the tests to demonstrate it more clearly.
Edit - I made it live again. I might do another video to clarify - although I'm getting pretty bored with Prores tests🤣
Does sony W2BT support dual receivers (dual mic)?
No, it does not.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thanks. What a shame Sony.
Nice price. I paid $329.00 when this unit first came out. The firmware updates can be tricky with this system and are NOT Mac compatible. You need a Windows based computer. I have a couple of videos on my channel where I used the 150. Too me, it sounds more muddy than the Wireless Go ii which I also have.
Yes - the no Mac thing is a real pain. Thanks for the real world experience!!
Mark's neighbors next door listening to him repeat "Mark Bennett is as clever as he is ravishing, which is A LOT", must be thinking he's full of himself (which he should be) or just very desperately trying to raise his self esteem XD
They worry about me
What mic are you using to record this video??
I did the first segment with the Boya into the H1N and the rest of the video with the Hollyland
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis You the man!
it's like Hollywood and LaLa Land had a baby! I don't know what I'm saying. Good video though
Ryan Gosling gave them to me.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis 🤣
Bah, Doug didn't even break a sweat even though you shamelessly flexed the showcase mode 😛
The Hollyland does seem like a great solution. Shane came to the same conclusion if I recall. Mark Bennett is as intelligent as he is gorgeous which is very 🤣
haha. Yeah - Shane did like them too.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis The comedian is slowly being released.... It's like a poisonous snake being allowed just slightly more leash every video 😛
@@KPGuitarStudios he’s going to ruin everything like he always does 🤣🤣
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Mark vs The Comedian. Only available on Netflix! Haha
Thank you for the test, but I think, that cable microphones are still better than wireless microphones. Its like for every acustic signal: Cable Headphones are normally cleary better than wireless headphones.
The audio of this wireless microphones is ok, but not impressing. But its very expensive! I dont pay 300 or 500 Dollars for a wireless microphone, that hasnt a better sound quality than a good cable microphone, which I can buy for about 150 Dollars.
Greetings from Germany!
SuperExtreme
Oh for sure - I would much rather use my Boom mic with a cable - but there are times I simply have to use a wireless mic - and the Lark 150 covers me in those situations. It is not cheap - but cheaper than the Rode - so it's the one for me.
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis OK
We can make a collab video pls
New product…”RIDE” Wireless Go ii 😂
