- Quick review of the Pro Turn 160. I upgraded from a ZT-HD 52 and just wanted to share some of my initial thoughts.
Correction on deck gauge. 7 gauge!! My mistake I’m not a pro at making these reviews yet!
I myself wanted a proturn 160 but end up with a proturn 260 with a Yamaha 28 hp it way more than I need got a great price on it mowed 3 acres on my property got 10hrs on so far I'm well happy with it.
Great review. I have the same mower. Been using it for about a year and half. So far so good. It started sputtering and popping at 75 hours. I changed the fuel filter and it took care of that. You may want to stock a couple of them.
I really like this mower. The only thing I’m not sure if I like about it is the fact that it has 2 belts for the deck.
Good video of the Gravely! I just bought a new 2022 Hustler Fastrak SDX 60 a few days ago. Grasshopper and Gravely would have been my other choices.

How it working out drove both the proturn z and zx today wasn't impressed with either one yes they was comfortable just no power behind them
Is the deck vibration about the same as the zthd

Looking for another mower selling my kubota z421 54in with the 3600 hydos and fs730 tomorrow trying find one with more power which mine very powerful just want more hp have no problem with the transmission just 24hp not enough for me
The Kawasaki motor on mine is one of the lower horsepower options but I will say the mower has never struggled and I mow a few places with high thick Bahia grass. I’m sure if you got the Yamaha motor it would have more than enough power. The only thing I wasn’t overly impressed with were the factory blades. I switched them over to Oregon high lift blades and am much more impressed with the cut quality on taller grasses.

@@jonathanaustin8841 o ok well I just got the 252 today dealer gave it to me for around 9000 so ya im as happy as kid with new toy lol of course financing but still for 209 a month for 48months with 1000 down can't beat it
Did you need to adjust the deck pitch for a better cut?
Not so far. I checked when I got it home the first day because my last mower didn't have the nose down enough to leave the cut like I wanted it but this one seemed to have the 1/8-1/4" that is pretty standard.
@@jonathanaustin8841 I have never used this style mower. Do they cut better going full speed. I have the deck almost all the way down and the scalp wheels are raised up. It still isn't cutting everything.
@@davidwoodard7250 What types of grass are you cutting?
@@jonathanaustin8841 it is a mix. Middle Georgia grass isn't the best quality. Most of it is old farm grass.
