Definitely desserty! The nose is nice but not very intense. The palette is complex but quite mild. The best part for me is the finish. Though I find it short, the aromas are delightful. Lots of chocolate, coffee and orange peel.
I like it a lot, but it's also overpriced in my opinion. I would buy it again, but not recommend to others because of the price.

Agree on the price point, but then the way the brand is positioned is different from rest of the scotches. It’s in the luxury category along with Macallan and now Glenturret

@@thedramclub I wonder if this has a lot to do with rich asian buyers. I have a chinese friend who once told me that the rich buy Macallan and other luxury brands by the crates, no matter the cost. That would surely drive up the prices for the rest of us.
Still love Dalmore, but I hate that I like it so much. Would be cheaper for me to enjoy something else 😂. My most recent buy was the 15 year old and Port Wood Reserve.
