This is my favourite RUclips video and for a reason. Every time I open a bottle of bourbon, scotch or even tequila, rum or calvados, I put this on to remind me to enjoy every single minute of the dram I'm drinking. It's a special moment also, when some of the bottles have been in my cabinet for years. Gives more for the moment.

Just had The Dalmore 15... & my goodness! Probably...yea... The best smoothest scotch I've ever had.
Man... that nose is insane! Orange peel, chocolate blend, ... then just buttery soft on the palate, dried fruit notes galore, then the best part, that sweet & spice finish, with the pineapple (it comes fast & you can miss it, if not paying attention) that goes into a long lasting chocolate finish, that just lingers around for a good 2 minutes saying "Hello...How are you, I'm just passing through, enjoy your night" 😎😎👍🏾👍🏾🥃

The Dalmore 25 is the most expensive scotch I've ever tried so, to be honest, I have nothing with which to compare it to except less expensive scotches.
    Frankly, there's NO comparison.
    The Dalmore 25 is transcendent!
It's definitely in a whole different league.
Its smoothness and complex flavor profile are like no other.
The aroma, the palate, and the finishing notes listed on the box are completely accurate!
The flavors of the toffee and the figs burst onto your palate right from the start.
Then, caramel, vanilla, and maple syrup make their presence known.
On the finish, say hello to dark chocolate, gingerbread, and the delicate subtlety of the cask wood, which only adds to an incredible flavorful experience you weren't expecting, but now don't want it to end.
As if things couldn't get any better, the scotch has a gentle sweetness that only enhances each and every flavor the sumptuous nectar has to offer!
I'm not kidding, this is NO exaggeration!
If you're a discerning scotch drinker (in other words, if you're a scotch snob) like I am, this is one scotch you don't want to miss!

I've had the Dalmore 18 and it was a true cascade of flavours with every sip. Easily the most satisfying whiskey I've drank so far. Just ordered a bottle of the King Alexander for getting a Distinction in my Masters Degree, I can't wait for it to arrive!
Folks, if you have some spare money knocking around and you fancy a good whiskey, save up for a Dalmore. They're worth every penny in my opinion.

Save your time and money, get a Glendronach 12 instead. Dalmore 12 is overpriced, heavily colour-added, AND chill-filtered, and bottled at a lousy 40%.
The one I suggested is way more bang for your buck!!!

    • @TheWoWBane
      @TheWoWBane 4 года назад +4

@@onYTsince2008 Colouring doesn't affect flavor, neither does chill filtration, and ABV is partly a matter of taste, and partly depends on what works best for that whisky.
It's very easy to hide a bad whisky behind a high ABV so it has more "flavor" while not being able to match the likes of dalmore (for example) if they were both bottled at 40% or whatever the case may be.
I am sick and tired of seeing your snobs everywhere, telling people that they have to follow your taste and not their own.
Keep drinking your whisky, you're missing out on many great things in life with that attitude.

Mr. Paterson, i hope that you will bring out some uncolored, unchillfiltered and age stated releases in the coming years.
I've heard your whisky has a lovely taste profile, but the lack of these factors has prevented me from buying, and will likely prevent me from doing so for a long time.

Please list on future bottles when Dalmore distillery was established in 1839. Not 1263 guy saved a king from stag and that’s where it all started
