Are you ready to crush this workout together? Today we are utilizing the training variables around endurance and stabilization to push your body to build muscles and boost your metabolism to start losing body fat. Make sure you give the video a thumbs up, comment, and subscribe to the channel!
We will work for 3 rounds of 45 seconds of work for every exercise and the workout will be an upper body workout focused on our PUSH muscles. We will also hit the best cardio exercises to finish! The training variables we will implement in our workout today will be focusing on the selection of weight and the tempo of your reps. You will use weights that are 75-85% of your max weight for each exercise to be able to perform more reps powerfully and you will move your body for 2 seconds to lengthen the muscle we are working and take 2 seconds to complete the contraction. Think of sitting into a squat for two seconds and pushing back up for 2 seconds without a pause at the bottom. You will aim for 6-12 reps for each work period and aim for muscle failure at the end of each exercise!

Sadly I started this workout upset after a disagreement with my husband who I love very much. The first few rounds I was distracted and fighting to stay in the moment. I knew I wasn't doing my best work but I trusted that working my body would soothe my mind and it did. Thank you Sydney! I'm going to take my noodle arms and fling them around my husband and make amends. Exercise doesn't just help the physical self, its effects ripple out to everything. Keep going everyone!

I really appreciated the different movements today, the way putting the dumb bells together and pushing up especially overhead challenged (and humbled!) me - I was totally shaking and on my knees eeking out minimal tricep pushups, but I know that was the result of really working hard - THANK YOU SYDNEY for taking us all to places we never thought we could go and come back again!

My arms felt so heavy from the beginning. I saw it as a sign of strength and not weakness. I felt more pumped and not weak or flimsy. It pushed me even more to work through the heaviness like running in mud...just kept moving with confidence one rep at a time. Keep it up team!! We are all treading together. If you're a female reading this, we are doing it together to get her (the woman we are becoming from all the decisions we are making) Let's do this!!

I was so surprised by the weights I could push during this workout! The close shoulder press was definitely the biggest challenge for me, but I didn't give up and that's worth celebrating! I love the tricep kickbacks on the bench - that might be my favorite way to do kickbacks! And I loved the Pike to tricep push up. I was surprised I didn't gas out on those. Woo! It feels good to celebrate all that hard work.
