This video is 4 years old, and I still come back to it every now and again, because I still can't believe these absolute works of art exist. Keith picked the best company to flesh out his vision. In my opinion these are hands down the best guitars ever made in ALL Variations. Thank you Keith!
Pretty awesome having watched you go from bald and playing Agiles years ago, to long hair and super boutique style USA Schecters with your name on it. You deserve it!
@@rickfeith6372 I have a Damien Elite 7 so I'd probably put Keith's pickups in it before buying his signature guitars. I'm not good enough to be worthy of playing his anyway.,
i remember for years, schecter hellraisers being kind of a meme and butt of a lot of jokes in the guitar community but I've been playing schecters for years, even the cheap ones play well and are dependable. as i've stepped up the models I've owned over the years I've never been disappointed. My neck step up is definitely going to be one of these and I'm really looking forward to it.

Own one of the first releases of this guitar and it’s without question the best 7 I’ve ever played out of many high end custom builds and great offerings from other prominent builders. Plays like a dream and sounds phenomenal. Quite easy on the eyes too.
When the KM 1 came out, I was still a student dreaming about owning a "real" guitar. The MKII came out and blew my mind, and I just graduated at the time. Now the MKIII is out and I gotta tell you...it feels like a sign. I've bee working at my first job for a couple of years now and I'm proud to tell you that I'm gonna buy this one pretty soon. It's been a long time coming, but I can't wait to own the sig of my favorite youtube metal guitarist! Thank you as well, Keith for the inspiration!
Schecter is just stepping up their game a lot recently, I'm really excited about all their new guitars, especially the C-1 SLS Elite, and these KM models... freakin' beasts :)
Just received mine last week.. I have now found my favorite guitar. I'm sure that I will be using this for years to come. Great build. Awesome pickups. Thankyou Keith. Thankyou Schecter. Thankyou Fishman.
Thank you Keith! The KM7 MKII is my favorite instrument even over my prestige ibanez. The stainless steel frets, neck curvature, and hipshot just make the instrument unstoppable. Oh and the natural finish is amazing! I'm proud to own your signature and if anyone here is second guessing get one, all I have to say is stop what you're doing and get one now because you will not be disappointed
So true mate! I've played quite a few guitars...including USA made and high end ones. Believe it or not ...one of my all time favourite guitars in terms of feel and sound is the schecter KM II ( Korean made). Insanely well built and so easy to play!! Now I need this USA custom Shop guitar 😍😍
This is amazing. As soon as I caught wind of this project I started saving up, and now I'm stoked beyond belief. The vision put into designing this axe is incredibly impressive. Not to mention how awesome Keith has been to his fans and customers throughout the process. This will be a lifer. To quote Wayne..."It will be mine. Oh yes, it will be mine."
My god dude, I've been subscribed to you ever since 2011 and watching this video... the first thing that comes to mind is how fucking far you've gone. I remember when you first started talking about your gear on RUclips. Holy shit man.. you're the best. Absolutely zero competition. Keep rocking on man!
This was definitely a cool video to watch. My guitar was not assembled in the United States, but I still appreciate my KM7 MK3 to the moon and back! It has been years since I was this inspired to pick an instrument
I just got my KM6 MkI a month ago and love it! I like some of the changes spec-wise to the MKII but I just love the look of the MKI so much. And it sounds fantastic too!
Just want to say I'm enjoying this guitar. Picked one up not to long ago. My first ever high end guitar. Slowly getting acclimated to it because its been a while since I've played a 7 string. Thank you for designing a great guitar along with Schecter and Fishman.

Kieth Merrow, god of badass metal mood music. I'm old as fuck, heard so many guitarists, and think Keith's music is hands down THE coolest shit. I'll even repeat songs when listening and that is RARE. Keep up the awesomeness, Keith.
Seeing the Schecter guitarbuilding process compared to some other well known brands... man, just quality. Just bought a C1 SLS Elite and looking forward to getting it!!!
Same man, I might get the hybrid though I already have a Standard and it’s the best 7 I’ve played besides a Strandberg. Are you saving for the hybrid or the Artist?
I have to say you knocked it out of the park with this guitar. I have owned quite a few guitars through the years and current have about 9, which include mostly signature models. I picked up the MKII when I saw that lambo blue, just had to have it. But this MKIII is absolutely killer, on another level and I find it hard to put it down. The tone, feel and playability is outstanding. I’m am sure my other guitars are feeling lonely and hate you for birthing this perfect creation. Great job man.
damn, even the choice for the voicing for the pickups man. your taste evolved. so glad you went with mid gain, vintage brown sound, and split coil sound. Allows for more versatility and more expressive playing, definitely! Great job keith!
It's been cool watching your journey Keith. I remember finding out about you and chatting a bit on Sevenstring.org years ago. It was really cool to see that there was an "underground" guy that was just fucking amazing. And now to see everything you've grown into, well it's inspiring and just brings a smile. The MKIII is sick!! Keep it up man, and I know we all can't wait to hear your next music project!
Those are killer!!! I was in a band called Straight Line Stitch (playing drums) a while back and we went to the Schecter shop/office and met some of those cats and they were really cool and nice. Started with the classic starter pack guitar and amp combo, few years later, teenage me got a Schecter telecaster dark brown burst with a black pickguard.
