- The KM-6 MK-III Hybrid is a new addition to Schecter's diamond series line and the first Hybrid in Keith's line of signature guitars. After fans asked him how they could get his fantastic signature model without draining their wallets, Keith and Schecter got to work. Eventually, they emerged from the drawing board with the MK-III Hybrid. It has the same controls, bridge, tuners, and compensated nut as the Artist version of the MK-II. The neck-through design uses a 3-piece maple neck with mahogany wings instead of the previous swamp ash.

I have two schecter hellraisers from 2008 and 2009, some fret wear on the one but I’m always shocked at how they have held up.
What a blisteringly great intro that was Jon 👍👍 lovely rich cleans and powerful hot tones too. I only use the tone pot now and then (when I laughingly try some jazz 😂😂) but it would be nice if there was one there. Though definitely not a dealbreaker. This is another quality Schecter axe. Thanks for another great demo. ❤️👍😄

Hi Jon, Great video and it's very nice as you play the guitar. How was the balance of this hybrid KM-6? I read about the Artist version and that type seems to have the neck dive syndrom. Is this the same with the hybrid model? Thanx in advance for your answer. Regards Abel

Ok.. they are about the same except better finishing and pickup options on the Artist. I actually prefer the simplicity of the hybrid. ✌️❤️

Great sounding guitar, but the drab grey finish is not for me.
I have a similar spec Cort KX16 limited in white pearl burst that satisfies my needs at a fraction of the price.
