      Abel is so good and Km is a legend ever since I saw this white hybrid and the km6 mkiii artist crimson I knew that was my guitar paired with a PRS archon 100 I had to find a way to get it I had Schecter sls elites evil twin and an apocalypse. Unfortunately I was hit by a car and had to be reconstructed unfortunately I made the wrong choice to end up with a very deadly addiction I sold all my gear I’ve turned my life around now not to whine or anything but conquering dystopia and Abel’s videos helped save my life all I want is to play again eventually I’ll get it keep trying to save for an km6 mkiii artist crimson I want that and a PRS archon 100 Keith merrow if you see this no lie your guitars are amazing and so specd 😮😮😮and well priced and made so well at world music-in Korea but any way Schecters are amazing Keith merrow is amazing gives me something to inspire to get to so I can have the rig I always wanted and Keith’s music and Abel’s videos and style along with Jeff loomis Wes haunch all the pickup and guitar videos helped me get clean made it easier made me know what I wanted and how I want to learn to play. People say that’s RUclipsrs are bogus but it made me know I want to play and push me to learn I always look forward to these videos can’t wait to start playing again. Long winded probably sounds dumb but it’s true for me so you guys all know you make differences in peoples lives and save some and help some find purpose cheers to the gods of rock lol

    I would've probably agreed with you a few years ago. Since Browne, Aaron and NJ have joined the roster, I think Schecter is becoming more of an umbrella for modern instruments. Pretty amazing to see how far they've come from 5-10 years ago.

      I'll strait out disagree with you guys, you've never owned a schecter then. I've owned them from going back 20 years now and they were great even back then. Not sure what you guys are talking about. I've never owned a sub 1000$ model so maybe you're talking about the entry level models? If so what do you expect? With every brand, you get what you pay for. That out of the way, these days it doesn't matter what brand it is, I'm seeing more and more guitars being sold that should have never passed qc. And that includes schecter as well, and doesn't matter if it's a 1k or 3k$ guitar it seems to be a gamble if the first one you recieve is going to be a keeper. It's sad but all companies are rushing them out the door and taking their chances that it won't come back to them. I'm sure thousands of us have seen this. I don't remember having or hearing much about these quality issues 10 to 20 years ago. It's not just guitars either, it's almost everything these days

    • @EulogyfortheAngels
      @EulogyfortheAngels Год назад +1

      @@HVACRTECH-83 I had a black Hellraiser C-7 string back in ~2009 and relative to other brands, the neck was absurdly thick and upper fret access was mediocre. That was common in their instruments under $1000 at the time (I played tons at my Guitar Center), and it wasn't a cost production limitation because other brands in the same price range were more playable. Otherwise it was great - tuning stability, nice pickups, quality control, etc.

When I tried this guitar at store I left the store without buying but guitar itself recalled me and I got back an hour later and actually bought it. Fun fact: my intention was to buy a sick sounding heavy metal guitar, as far as i remember when i checked the clean tones with neck pickup at store i found myself playing jazz. Fishman KM pickups are top notch. Thanks for this review, and demo was so nice.

Keith also just teased a hybrid with the transwhite satin coming this year for his 10 year anniversary with Schecter. Since my very late start hearing Nevermore and the all mighty Jeff Loomis, it has branched out to Merrow and England because top shelf hangs out with cutting edge quality. I love the guitar so much. But more importantly, "It has wires that vibrate, and makes music!" I cant believe I didt hear of Loomis till 2 years ago, then Merrow and England. Oh I forgot, Bernth is occupying my time as well. Im a good self taught drummer, (thanks Peart) but there is nothing better than excellent guitar work. Im 61 and I thank Iommi, Page, Beck, Lifeson, Blackmore. I defend the honor of Metallica, Exodus, and Slayer. Not leaving out WARGASM Ugly! Anyway, your an outstanding guitar player and I love this guitar because of Merrow's DNA in the pickups.

I'm a fan of AMD processors for my personal build, and I have a monster of a workstation, but I love Logic and core audio in lieu of drivers that don't work, and if you have the Ultra then you have 64GB of RAM which should be sufficient to run 20+ plugins in your Logic projects without ANY noticeable difference. If you would be so kind as to respond and tell me how it's working out for you if that's what you're using as your primary home audio workstation.

    How would you say this compares to the Mayones in terms of playability? I’m assuming there probably isn’t much point in comparing the quality given the price difference, but from a player’s perspective is the Mayones really a $1500+ nicer guitar than something like the Artist model that has comparable specs and construction? Genuinely weighing the pros and cons of buying the Artist over a Duvell elite.

    • @AbelHernandezguitar
      @AbelHernandezguitar  11 месяцев назад +1

      In my opinion there is no downgrade going from a Mayones to an artist model Schecter. I would find a way to play both and then pick, it will all come down to which set up and neck you like more.

      @@AbelHernandezguitar thanks for the response. I played the Artist not too long ago and I really enjoyed the feeling of the multi piece neck and the body shape. On paper, the only thing it “lacks” for me personally was the bolt on neck. I’ve been a huge Monuments fan for a while now and always wanted one of Brownes Mayones guitars, the price was always the limiting factor there. Now price is less of a concern, but after playing the Artist it’s really hard to expect the Mayones to be twice as good at twice the price. I was hoping to get one of Brownes Schecters but I can’t live with the aesthetic and I actually think the KM is a better value.

      @@6oundStudio it’s meant to compliment Keith Merrow by saying this guitar carry’s his identity as opposed to just being a Signature guitar from Schecter. As far as “clickbait” this is much more of a personal opinion than any form of deception which is why it literally says that’s it’s a review of the Schecter in the title.

      @@AbelHernandezguitar I'm starting to understand. is it fair to say that by that logic PRS Silver Sky is not a PRS?

      @@6oundStudio I mean sure, if the guitar only says “John Mayer” to you as opposed saying PRS then sure, but the silver sky still has the prs headstock as to where the KM line of guitars is a complete redesign with no other guitars from Schecter resembling it.

    Fixed bridge..... I HATE 😠 Floyd-rose is needed to make the guitar speak..... Again, people today are dummies at everything because of lazy app phones (in near future people cannot ude their legs anymore because of battery 😠 ).
