Karter Estill I mean. He did leave, he’s said it a few times that he’s not gonna come back to full time RUclips stuff that he’s just gonna do the occasional video when he feels like it
@@joshforeman1648 as a left handed dude my self I’m so glad I learned right handed lol I can’t imagine having that problem man. And it all started cause I was only given right handed guitars as a kid
This video is what got me into my crazy obsession with Keith’s art. 9 months later I have a Mkiii standard (predator inlay one) and a sheet happens book. My favorite musician of 2020.
Adore the Grey model. Its great to see such a titan of the instrument continuing to share his ideas and innovations. Merrow x Schecter x Fishman is one hell of a combination.
Man... I've never been a Schecter fan but that guitar looks great. I love the simplicity. Sleek and fast design but still substantial and no unnecessary pickups, knobs, switches, or bridge designs.... just a functional straight forward axe.
You absolutely must name the music at the start of the video! So heavy! Obliged to come here every day to hear it. Thank you from France for your incredible music.
Ive been looking to get a km model guitar. Ive been playing schecter for a little bit now. I have 2 sls elite models. Does anyone know how these might compare.
The last Schecter I got was the Jeff Loomis JLV-6. I now want a seven string and was looking at the Steve Vai JEM7...now it's going to be that white KM7. Such a badass guitar with all the specs I love. It will be mine.
I recently got the white version of the 6 string and it's awesome. Love the black binding and maple board. Wish I had a set of the pickups in black to swap the white ones out with though for extra contrast.
I just got your Mk2 and I love it man was a super steal at my local GC I will be saving up for a 6 string Mk3 cannot wait to try out your fishmen pickups thanks for an amazing guitar man!
I ordered this one but lefty version from a local shop one week ago. Today they told me that actually Schecter doesn't have these in stock for a few months. Such a bummer....
Kieth, I own your signature model from 2015. The Lamborghini Orange, which is a sick guitar in its own right. Hearing you’ve gone with Fishman is a game changer. I’m sure the junky push pull pot and 3 way switch have been addressed. I went with a push push because it was bit aggravating to try and grab it in the middle of playing because of it being some what counter sunk into the body. I can see your new model isn’t like this. I still dig this guitar. It makes me want to play and makes me play better. My wife even noticed a difference. So, thanks for designing this killer guitar.
And now we can wait another 2 years like we did with desolate horizons, so you can write all those other awesome songs and give it out on an album... This is just too good :D
What is the background song during the first 3 mins of the video? It's definitely not reading the bones, I can play that song thanks to the tab book, that song starts 3:40 secs in.
Where can I get that leather jacket though?! Shit makes you look like a metal gentlemen and I say that in the most respectful way. I've got 2 artists btw but that I need a maple fretboard in my life! And we all miss keith on youtube💔
Keith bringing Drop F back...lul Glad to see more output with Schecter and vice versa...my Blackjack ATX-6 is still one of the best guitars I've ever played
Keith is back! Please do not leave RUclips bro! We need you!
nothing but agreeing
Agreed! Dude is a beast
He never left. Just been touring! Busy guy
Karter Estill I mean. He did leave, he’s said it a few times that he’s not gonna come back to full time RUclips stuff that he’s just gonna do the occasional video when he feels like it
Tyler Rosal Yes, that's why I did comment this on the main post.
I love that Keith doesn't over play or just try to be as fast as possible. Just plays what's right for the tune.
Fantastic composer and a lord of riffage
I need more of that F tuned wickedness.
Murat Akça same!
It sounds like something off his project with simonxsludge.... nightmarer
@@douglasmorgan3823 Totally agreed!
Guitar center pick of the day last week had the $1500 KM-7 MK-II with Fishmans for $799. I never pulled my credit card out so fast in my life.
Wtf you got a steal of a deal
Damn I’m a lefty so just had to pay £2150 😳

You found the tone I've been looking for.
Anyone else thinks that the opening riff (mumbles) is one of the most beautiful metal riffs ever, and this tone.....God this tone!!!!!
1000000% man!
@@denisherry yeah bro,I've listened to the begining part of this video like 2 million times...
That fucking mellow riff is amazing 🤟🤟🤟
@@cr-cn4ky i knoooooow, same here 😁

Sounds like new Nightmarer at the start. Looking forward to hearing it when it's released 🤘🤘
Hybrid guitars?? Do the pickups run in battery mode when economy picking? 🤔
RoseOfHizaki they take the extra energy from palm muting chuggies and charge up your phone
@@AdamDallas 😂🤣
when you shred, it charged the battery
Came for the guitars, stayed for the riffs. Badass stuff dude.
The groove is strong with this one.
You absolutely must name the music at the start of the video! So heavy! Obliged to come here every day to hear it. Thank you from France for your incredible music.
I've owned way too many keith merrow guitars for someone who's name isn't keith merrow.
I'm Loomis2
How does it compare to something like a hellraiser?
@@metalheadblues KM7 MKIII artist is hands down, the best Schecter I've ever played/owned. This, along with my Solar guitars are my favorite.
@@metalheadblues Much thinner neck and body. Just overall more comfortable. And higher output pickups.
Ive been looking to get a km model guitar. Ive been playing schecter for a little bit now. I have 2 sls elite models. Does anyone know how these might compare.
Both guitars are totally killer!! I hope Schecter will make the white one with ebony freatboard, it would look even more badass))
One of the greats! You're the reason I play 7 string guitars to this day!
Awesome , love the white one so much
I love how Keith took the white-maple board palette of his old BRJ custom for this. That guitar looked KILLER.
Just picked this up the other day. Sick guitar.
Keith is the Man. Your style is so unique. One off my favorites guitar players.
That Intro though .... crushing AF
Gone way too long from RUclips. Welcome back. Love your contents.

That white one is your old BRJ hesperian reincarnated. Drooled so much over that guitar...
So sick. Tones kill. Guitars are sexy. Would love to her my hands on one. Cheers man to your sigs and all your success man. Well deserved
Just ordered my White Hybrid!!! So stoked!
how do you like it? i recently b0ught a demo version of the km7 mkiii. have some pros and cons tho :(
I absolutely love the white with the maple board! Gotta have it..
I'm a sucker for white guitars but man, that grey is sick AF as well. Damn Keith, nice job.
Ah that show blind white model is AMAZING !!! 🤯
Please Stay on RUclips Dude, you videos and Playing is Excellent!!
What a beautiful guitar...would crank through my 72 Peavey Classic
I love your riffing man, I don't know how to describe the sound but it's so original to my ears.
Keith, we miss your youtube videos! This was great!
The specs on Schecter's site says it's a 3 piece maple neck, not a 5 piece with maple and wenge.
Damn Keith! Your videos are always a Musical revelations....
Those guitars are very cool (especially the grey one since I seem to like colors related to black).
Got to get one of those Schecters! I love that opening riff! Cool to see Keith with long hair.
I just got your Mk2 and I love it man was a super steal at my local GC I will be saving up for a 6 string Mk3 cannot wait to try out your fishmen pickups thanks for an amazing guitar man!
These are really cool, just wish the cool maple/wenge necks weren't completely painted over. A natural satin back would probably suit these very well.
Agree I still prefer the mk2 till this day
Everywhere I've read, they state these are 3 piece necks with carbon rod reinforcement
I ordered this one but lefty version from a local shop one week ago. Today they told me that actually Schecter doesn't have these in stock for a few months. Such a bummer....
Fuck yeah. Missed your writing!
Keith the control configuration is on point.. 1 volume out the way of finger's is perfect.. I have to buy the white 1..

What's the first song played??
Is that intro song released somewhere? It just destroyed my brains!!!
Michael Leech thank you very fucking much, Mr.!
That solo in the fishman clip was so tasty
Scrolled down to say this again
you know is gonna be a great day when keith uploads a new video
Telesto grey is sick. I like the maple board too but I'm definitely a ebony guy. Can't wait to get one
Is ball crushing an important part of your tone?
I've wanted a gray Km7 since I got my Lambo green Km7. It shall be mine.
Would you say the km6 version is lightweight?
Hey! Good to see you again.
Such a beautiful guitar! I really want one!
I really wish they made that white schecter with an ebony fretboard I think that would be. Perfect for me. But awesome guitars none the less
I like your sound, the ambiance is incredible
I need that first song! I must have watched this video at least 30 times just for that low F awesomeness
What is the background song during the first 3 mins of the video? It's definitely not reading the bones, I can play that song thanks to the tab book, that song starts 3:40 secs in.
It’s unreleased man and it’s killing me cause it sounds so evil and heavy while not overplaying at the same time
Sick that this turned out to be Mumbles. that intro is really a totally different plane of tonal arrangement.
I didn't think porn was allowed on RUclips. That is a sexy guitar!
F-ing nice. Glad there still killer 26.5 guitars being made.
Thin body and neck joint look sweet.
You have such a distinct style.

É esse tipo de riff que faz o metal renovar
Whoo your sounding really good on that lead playing brother. Keep it coming man. Appreciate you sharing.
HE SPEAKS!
New axes look killer man!
Clicked for the guitars, stayed for the lighting.
His home studio is one of the best I've seen aesthetically
Настолько редкие видео, что забыл о подписке на канал))) Спасибо за видео!
Which are the Fishman's. I want to know. I can NOT get that clarity on the B string like this. I hit it in a 5th and it gets muddy. HELP!!!!!
I can't wait to buy one!
Keith bringing Drop F back...lul
Glad to see more output with Schecter and vice versa...my Blackjack ATX-6 is still one of the best guitars I've ever played
Wow how it possible to play with strings such close to frets? Does it buzz on clean?
Love your music
I wonder what gauge he used here for that low F. And if the nut needed any filing?
Amazing Guitars Keith!. Greetings from Patagonia!
Your sound always kicks ass ! Great demo!😉👍
Bonkers track, guitars and tone. Any chance of a lefty model coming out? Cheers.
Where can I get this epic beast of a guitar!!!!!?????
*Luvvin' that low string BWWAAONNGG!* 😄👌
*Evertune sorta killed that effect!*
Still have not seen this guy walking around Portland.... Come to think of it, haven't seen Paul Gilbert either.....
That things sounds excellent! Nice job sir!
I hope that chip wasn't from the new MKIII! Killer demo as always, can't wait to get my hands on one!
