Informative vid! glad you chose the DRY version as I was looking into that. I don't like pre-oiled ones like K&N. When are you planning on the dyno tune? Please post the results as well lol
So I’ve had a filter like this once on a 350z and I noticed that in the summers and after 10s of thousands of miles the motor just seemed to not be as sharp as it was. I always thought it was due to the aftermarket box where more dust was making it’s way into the motor over time and the additional heat was causing additional wear. I’m curious does this thing seem to be as sealed as oem? It looks like the main pipe that connects to the box isn’t fully sealed thus allowing hot air to eventually get in vs the oem is basically connected as one piece and the box is snapped together with the clips. I’m just curious on your thoughts, I’d like to get an intake on mine but I want it as legit as possible where it actually improves and doesn’t bring the capability of the motor down in any way over time. Also I know the hp gain is negligible but would you say it’s as big as an improvement as going from regular to premium gas? I know the HP and TQ are stated to be a bit high but in real life to me it’s just a slight bump. Does this kinda feel like that where it’s a slight bump like if you threw in premium thx for your help and time in answering my long winded comment
The intake does not fit with the 2.0L skyactiv-X or G version. But I contacted the manufacturer, and they told me, that there will probably come a version for the 2.0L Mazda 3 in the end of this year 2023.
@@jasondriggers2759 I'm here in Sydney and it really sux here coz we're limited to Mazda specialist or anything like it. USA and even Canada appears are much better than Australia..,! Any assistance?
Hey do you still have that Scion tC? I’ve got a 2013 and have been thinking about the borla exhaust. How loud would you say it is going at a normal launch. I want something louder than stock but i don’t want it too loud when I’m just driving around town so I don’t bother people.
No. I traded it in over 2 years ago when I bought this car... The borla was great. It was definitely louder than stock, but not annoying loud. If you swap the header or do the midpipe its crazy loud. I tried a catless header for awhile and had to pull it off. In parking garages I could set off alarms lol.
Update. The intake does not fit with the 2.0L version. But I contacted the manufacturer, and they told me, that there will probably come a version for the 2.0L Mazda 3 in the end of this year (2023).
@@_purejosh The hatch guys only do it because the 2.5T is available in the Sedan which if you ask me is the better car, it's about 200lbs lighter than the hatch so it's a little bit faster.

Same thing as oem minus different filter 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Not necessarily. Oem doesn’t flow as well even with a filter.
Is the airbox only secured by the 2 bolts to the bumper? I didnt see you reach down the sides at all
There are rubber grommets that the airbox is secure to. Just got to pull up after removing the 2 bolts on the bumper
Will this intake work on skyactiv-X 2.0l?
The intake does not fit with the 2.0L skyactiv-X or G version.

Great video dude! It definitely makes me want to buy my own!
Aye glad to finally see the video 🙏
😩😩😆😆😆😆
what is the difference with stock?
I have a 2020 mazda 3. Is it worth it?? Performance wise?
I believe so.
will it fit on a 2021 CX-30 2.5 L non turbo
How would it do in winter ? I live in Illinois
What performance improvements have you noticed?
Throttle response and the car is noticeably quicker in the mid range.

One year has passed, how is it holding up?
Its holding up great. I love the intake.
So you have to remove the whole system to maintenance the filter?
No, it looks like just a section. Not worry though, it will take a while until it needs serving
Car sounds great!
What about economy wise?
What do you mean by that? MPG? It’s fine, it’s a little bit better on highways
@@JeromeJunior where did u get your fitted?

Thanks for the video! I was wondering, any check engine lights or rough idling up until now?
Glad you enjoyed it. No issues at all.
I got one of these about a year ago and can confirm, no issues, no check engine light
I wish they made one for the Turbos.
They already have enough oil consumption issues, no need to add fuel to the fire

Is this a 2.5 or a 2.0 L mazda?
2.5
@@JeromeJunior Do you know, if the same intake fits on the 2.0L Mazda?
Hey Jerome Jr. Did you find out, if this fits on the 2.0L version?

I'd rather My burger motorsports proper cold air intake
Hope they can come out for the M3TH. This looks greater than the Corksport SRI
really need to stop calling this car the M3TH.
