I like when people do stock and aftermarket dynos. On some of them they don't even do as well as the OEM. In fact they lose airflow on some of these creating less HP
Hey Strady, Ive been enjoying watching your build on the 3, I'm getting my own soon. I was wondering if you've run the intake without the rubber Takeda insert opposite of the intake piping. I read that it lets the intake be more vocal without sacrificing the fresher air from the system, but I haven't been able to find a video or a write up confirming.
I am interested in what this would sound like with the grommet removed also. Potentially u could remove it for a sporty drive in the hills, to hear some induction roar. Then refit for your daily commute.
Question. We dont need a car memory saver for this car right? I need to run wires through the firewall. Would be nice if you made a video on how to do this to add a solar charging system to the car because it starts dying within 3 days I beleive if you dont use it. Plus the alarm and inverter
So short ram is actually better for turbo then the cold air intake, so for NA cold air is better for compression but on turbos the turbo heats the air back up so it doesn't change much
Yeah it’s pretty much the same, it terms of sound. But you can definitely hear the induction through the exhaust… But I may upgrade to the oiled filter later!
Probably an unnecessary install BUT definitely looks better and likely lighter than stock.👍 I’ll probably pick one up, too, just for those two reasons.🤪
I just add that to my Mazda 3 hatchback 2021 and I’m so excited to make this car a monster
Been a long time sub, love how your videos have evolved keep up the good work! Love the content
I installed the Cork sport on a 2014 2.0 engine. You can definitely feel the difference.
I would imagine, as your wallet is thinner.
I’m just here to respond to months old comments
@@NipponStiqqyPaint and im here to respond to your month old comment
Lol
I’m going with this one, looks much better than the Corksport one. Thanks

Love the corksport
Good for you!
@@StradysWorld how much was the one u got?
did you notice any lost of power at all or has it been great congrat on the Subi btw
Is that the 2.0? I ask because have 2018 mazda cx5 and 2.5 and not showing this intake for mine. They have exhaust, but no intake.
Awesome video! I perfer the factory look over the corksport one, not really a fan of it just dangling lol I might give this one a try
My thoughts exactly! Lol
Corksport sounds way better. U can actually hear ur turbo
There’s an available heat shield? With proven testing that improves importance.

Nice video, anything for the MK2 2009 model only one I found was an overpriced k&n induction kit 😭
I just want childish stoostoostoo turbo noises without ruining the performance 😩
If only life was that simple 😢

@@zdoomboyyes, the turbo heats the air, but that's why all turbocharged cars have an intercooler
The short ram definitely doesn't ruin the performance
Loved the video except I ran a test and you get between 8 and 13 hp outta the CAI. Not much but it's a gain.
Does it sound any better than factory with a dry filter? Or pretty much the same?
