Had a Mazda 3 GT 2017 (3er gen) great car, used it for 6 years without any issues, only paint, a wrap i think its a great idea.

PREFACE - I think this a very fun and fairly inexpensive add-on and recommend giving it a try! I've had mine for a bit 2 years now. I'm an electronics engineering tech for 50+ years and love toys and gadgets! @5:44 - "shifting gears really quick" - PC can have absolutely zero effect on transmission shifting faster or anything like it. All the PC does in INCREASE the amount of throttle being called for in the pedal - as in you push the pedal down 10%, the PC tells the ECU you are pushing it down 60% - that's the only thing it can do. There is no "lag" in the signal going from the throttle to the ECU - if you floor the pedal, it instantly tells the ECU the pedal is floored. Any lag is in the ECU programming. I've played some games with "feathering" and "bumping" the pedal and I can cause somewhat similar responses. PC may add some "ramp steps" in the signal doing essentially the same thing. It definitely makes my 2019 Trek a bit more fun, but cannot increase the power out of the engine at all.

The mazda doesn't seem to have the equivalent smoke stickers like this Impreza. Or was anyone able to find some for the Mazda 3 hatch?

I recently got a 2021 mazda 6, which is also my 1st car. I like this car a whole lot but as a Canadian driver I'd love to have the AWD offered on all models after this year. Heavily considering swapping this out for a 3 hatch. I'm not sure yet though. Also the 6 is VERY long... I'd much prefer something a little shorter haha.

I get that you want wanted a manual but the mazda 3 turbo is not NA and gets about 230 horsepower with 310lb ft of torque. Had you just gone with that im sure you wouldnt have made the switch to the RS which has less than the M3 Turbo.
