College doesn’t teach this good. Great video!
Speaking facts there! haha appreciate the love!
A good rule of thumb if you are only using center marks is to either use a square under your screen or draw horizontal lines on your board with a square to make sure the design is not skewed. The ink cracking is 99% of the time cure and not the ink. I noticed you put about six strokes in on that sample. Each stroke lays down the micron thickness of the stencil. This is more ink that the heat has to penetrate for a full cure. Plus it uses more ink which in not cheap these days. Flood, stroke, flash, flood, stroke should be the process. If you are having trouble with cure, keep the finished shirt on the board and run under the flash while unloading for a few more seconds cure. If you have been printing as long as I have then you can do one pull, flash, one pull. No loading of the screen. Those emulsion spots will almost always come out by wetting your finger with saliva and simply rubbing. Keep up the good work and good luck.
Thanks man. This video helps out so much and gives me confidence not to lose faith or gives on screen printing.
Great video bro! Thank you for all of the effort you put into making it, it really showed. Best of luck to you!

Good stuff man look forward to checking out some more ,🤘🏻🤘🏻
First off. I started watching you about a month ago and love your videos . What really stands out is your stretch test and if you have to remake something you do not throw a fit! You are a go getter and super handsome young man. I wish you the best in your journey. I am ordering all of my equipment in January. Definitely can't wait!!
Only thing I will not have will be the conveyor dryer. The one I will get in March will be the vastex d1000. I am in an apartment and can not do anything with the electric box. Lol. But for now I will cute with the flash dryer and maybe my heat press.
Wow that made my day! I appreciate that more than you know honestly!
I definitely throw a fit at times but hey its normal!
Best of luck on your journey in getting your equipment! and there is no problem at all in having no conveyor dryer, as long as you have a flash your good to go!
When I started out I did not have a conveyor dryer but used the flash to the best of my ability and invested into a dryer when the time was right. Hope nothing but success for you!
@@baavproductions thank you so much for that reassurance!! Going on a binge today on a few of your videos I haven't watched yet along with 2 other channels. We all appreciate y'all for showing us the way!! It's less scary to jump into now!! Stay blessed!!

You already know! Glad you liked it.
@@baavproductions what is the normal off contact for the screens, some people say a yard stick thickness or a quarter?
@@jayp6945 A quarter width is a good rule of thumb
@@baavproductions Thanks so much bro! Amazing work!

Great video and you have an amazing setup. How much does this entire setup cost you?
Love your set up bro! How much do you invested? Want to start in the T-shirt business.
hi great video! little question what is the reference that you use for high pressure washing? thank you for your videos
Hey! using the pressure washer to washout the design when exposing!
Ppl that print know your struggles plus your recording and editing a lot work. I’m trying get to the recording part
Facts! I appreciate the love. Looking forward to your videos.
This was the best video you made yet. Great job bro! BTW, what font is that?
I appreciate it a lot! and are you referring to the t-shirt design?
@@baavproductions yeah on the shirt. Looks cool.
@@alaingibs7692 I actually have no clue on the font name. They provided me that design and send over the eps so I did not make it. Sorry!
Thank you for all the info!
What is the green machine ?
Keep doing good stuff bro
I appreciate it bro!
I appreciate this!!!
I appreciate you!
Great video! What inks did you use first and then which did you end up using? Thank you!
First was F.N ink and then a switched to a heavier poly based ink from Wilflex!
Hey man great videos! I’m curious if you added a wash room or wash basin to clean your screens in the basement? Also I’m curious if you set up a dark room for exposure of the screens?
Thank you! And I definitely do have a wash room set up in the basement. I have a video up on my full exposure process for screens and the emulsion I use. Check that video out and you will be able to see my washroom and exposure process 🤙🏽
@@baavproductions thank you!!
Love your videos thanks for sharing them what’s the best printer buy ??? I need to get one
Screen printing press?
I think you recommended a canon printer but I looked it up it’s like over $800 is there a cheaper version that you think works as well ?
Thank you for this video I am trying start my own business on a budget, I'm not too computer friendly but what program do you use to edit your designs and do all the fancy stuff
I have a simple laptop with Google chrome
Hi. The cabinet you are placing your screens inside to keep away from light exposure.. did you build that yourself? Or purchase? If so where did you buy it? Also… can you recommend affordable printers for the film output. Thanks.
I built it! I actually have a video tutorial in the works for that cabinet. So stay on the lookout soon!
The printer I use is canon pixma pro 100 but the printer I used when starting out is the canon ix6820
Nice job
I appreciate it!
Thank you for your videos! How do I go about finding a good shirt manufacturers to use?
Thank you! and shirt manufacturers meaning for blanks or for custom printing?
Beast! Very informative, thanks G!
Very informative. How long is a shirt under the flash dryer? Is there a possibility of scorching the shirt or ink? Thanks, Mike
Yes there’s definitely a possibility of over heating the shirt leading to a scorched shirt
Do you have a video on printing the design? And what printer and transparency you recommend that’s cheap
a full video dedicated to printing no. But I do have a video of me setting up my canon pixma pro 100 printer for my transparencies. I will try to take your suggestion and make a video about a good transparency printer and how to on it.
Awesome video, man! What was the ink that was cracking and what did you switch to?
Thank you! the ink I used first was meteor white, then switched to F.N white ink
@@baavproductions How do you like the FN White?
Great video !!! What size transparent paper you use?
thank you! the paper is 13x19
great video broski. i am curious, how long did it take to print those 200 shirts?
I print about 60 shirts an hour so I’d say 3-4 hours
nice man . Where did you learn ? is there any course to learn the process ?. thank you man
Great info, how many hours to print out 200 shirts🤔🙏🏽
great video 🔥 what kind of ink do u use for the printer
Appreciate it! Dmax all black ink!
Just a question about the lining point (+) . In the blue tshirt , it show that It was printed . Just wondering if it does affect the printing in any how . Thanks 🙏 love the videos
The lining point I tape off so it’s not printed when I go to full production. That’s just there to help ensure it’s straight
awesome
Thank you!
How do I know which types of light are safe to use around the emulsioned screens?
how long do you let your emulsion dry in your drying rack
22 second exposure?! What kind of emulsion are you using? Really nice video!
Correct! I use green galaxy cryocoat emulsion. Appreciate the love!
Chromalime emulsion is pretty legit. Only needs like 6 sec exposure time
Will definitely have to check that out and give it a shot
For dummies? 😂 You got the baddest set up .
Haha I think it’s a great title
What ink did you switch to on the second run?
What brand is the white ink you used the second time thT didn't crack?
Can you match almost any color Pantone? What if a shirt has colors within colors in the design??
What program did you use to design it? I’m going to be using mac
very nice 👌👌
Thank you!
What did you do to fix the first cracking print?
what printer do you recommend?
Hey, what kind of T-shirts do you use is it Gildan are they Unisex ? Are they the 980 ???
What design sizes (width) do you usually use for each Adult size shirts?
It depends on the design but is usually between 8-12 inches wide.
This maybe a dumb question and it might have already been answered but here goes. Whenever you applied the first layer of ink and rotated it around to dry with the heater, you quickly rotated it back and without much effort you lowered the screen again and applied the second layer. How is the first layer and second applied so accurately without hesitation? Did I miss something? It just seemed like you lowered the screen knowing exactly where it needed to go to apply the second layer. I know about the registration marks, but this looks like a different tactic.
Hey my guy, can you properly cure without the conveyor dryer? I have the flash but the dryer is still too pricey rn.
you sure can. Check this video out this video, I show you exactly how to cure your shirts with only a flash dryer in this video.
ruclips.net/video/E1TNMaP3CQk/видео.html
how did you make the pointers go?
mantap bang
Said munchies and I subscribed, i fucks with ya homie, good style and good teacher
Appreciate that homie✊🏽
Question do you provide the shirts for your clients or do you let them provide them
I mainly provide them, but if the client wants to provide that is fine as well.
Did you change the labels on the gildan t shirts
In this job the customer did not want to add that service so these remained with the factory tags
I have a question. I am getting the Riley 4x1 with no micros. What are the marks you have on your Platen and can you show to to make the marks and line them up?
Hmm I will try to get a video made on the marks I use! Basically just center line mark and left chest mark mainly
@@baavproductions I will definitely be on the look out for that video when ever you make it!! 😎😎 Also I noticed you spoke about your wrists. There is someone named Lee Stuart who has some squeegees with the hand grip. On screen printing com.. he is also one of my silent teachers. Check out his page and his squeegees. I will get them for my wrist. Best of luck.
@@Chanellefifteen23 Yes I have definitely seen them and need to get my hands on them!!
fire
Appreciate you!
Hey I am a new sub and new to screen printing. My print are not coming out dark I have the same printer as you the canon pro 100. Is it because I still have colored ink in the printer? I am just printing black design. Not sure why it Is printing so light on my transfer paper. If you can help thanks
It could be a few things, either with the software or your printer settings:
-check that the file you’re printing is in cmyk and not rgb
-check that your printer is set up to print on the right type of paper
Those are just a few options, play around with your settings for both hope this helps 🖤
Any plans to buy an automated press?
Absolutely
How long did it take for the 200 shirts?
Which program did you use to vectorize the images?
Adobe Illustrator
where did you get the registration board next to ur exposure unit
From ryonet when I got my exposure unit but they sell the sheet alone as well.
Tshirts u using r pre cured or just normal cotton tshirts
what type of ink do you use?
What ink do you use!
How does the registration mark not make it to the tee? Just a lil confused
Big bro appreciate you...I'm about to start my business hope I can holla at you...on some pointer's
How much do you charge per screen set up for a customer?
Do you have to be photoshop proficient to do this?
Hey would I be able to use a 250 red heat bulb to burn my screen ?
Possibly, but best way to get a good exposure is with a actual exposure unit or else you’ll always run into headaches
❤
Quick question I’m starting a screen printing business and I’m filing for a LLC do I file as wholesale or retail?
Mhmmm good question. I honestly am not a professional or advisor for that stuff especially because it gets so confusing. If I remember correctly I think I did wholesaler but I would do your research just in case as well!
@@baavproductions I appreciate you
@@Welo2Timez no doubt!
