    Wow! That was the best creative video I've watched in a long time! It is epic to see your passion and excitement for what you do! Even to the boxing up...only other creatives get that feeling of when you've finished something, what its gonna look like from the recipients POV is so satisfying to make right!! To me, and obvs to you, it's as important as the initial design stage and getting the process right! Bloody good job man!

    This is just what I needed. Had been wanting to start my own, silkscreen business. Purchased a Techtongda 4 station, 4 color silk screen machine. Canon all in one wireless, and printing supplies. I still have some questions but am much more confident now. Broke everything down and easy to understand. You can figure out the small things and tweaks. I have some questions about stencils, when doing multiple colors.

    I've been watching you from the beginning. You're grinding on a daily basis. You're an inspiration to me, and I'm sure many others that watch your videos. It looks like you've out grown your press which is a good thing. By the way, I have the exact same press. It may be time for you to invest in a more advanced press. You might want to take a look at the Anatol Tornado. It has about the same footprint as the Riley Jr. 6/4, but it comes with laser registration system , side clamps, and tool less off contact and micros. Keep doing you

    1) When you receive a design (vector file), what’s the difficulty of separating the colors of the design for a provided file?
    2) I have a tech pack that provides the dimensions of the designs, but how do yourself size it appropriately on the shirts? Front, Back, inside screen printed sizing.
    3) Do you also do woven hem tags on the shirt?
    4) Do you do the fulfillment side of the brand? ( Shipping, packaging?

I am beyond a newbie but kind of knew how stuff worked. I do have a 2 questions if you don't mind. what did you use to get rid of those dots and the registration marks, tape or something underneath? Question #2, if you save your screens for future work, do you wash them before putting them in the library? My buddy says that the ink didn't dry for him and he left them inked as long as they don't get warm enough to dry.....seems wrong to me, but...that's why I'm asking, lol. Keep up the awesome work!

  • @juanantoniojaimes768
    @juanantoniojaimes768 2 года назад +2

    Bro, you could save a lot of time in the registration process if you first register and print the white base and before you put the inks on the screen with that print, start the registration process, you could see the white base and registration marks better. and when you print your first test t-shirt you will have a better result and you will have saved too much time! Thanks for the video bro, it was pretty deam good!

    • @baavproductions
      @baavproductions  2 года назад +1

      That’s a great idea bro! However that is what I usually do but always seemed to run into problems because of screen shift when pressing the first base. If I am screen printing the base and lining all other screens to that base it’s always off due to slight movement from the printing process of the white base. The reason I use the registration grid is cause that way it’s all registered to one exact position where as printing the base usually leads to slight shifting. But definitely will try it out again! I appreciate the tips and love brother!

      What’s up bro I actually coat the screens the exact same way for them all!
      Hoodies are always more painful then t shirts… main thing is to have a lot of tac!

    When you use fn ink white, what squeegee durometer and mesh do you use? I have been trying to pull it with a 70 durometer/160 mesh and it just looks real fuzzy around the edges. I’m thinking about doing 60 durometer

      I use 70 durameter squeegee. Weird how it looks fuzzy pretty sure your issue is more related to your print angle and or making sure your off contact is right.

      Much love! Have you tried to adjust your exposure times? Use less water pressure?

    You're using the Baselayr Plastisol emulsion, right? And, your exposure unit is fluorescent, correct? Would you mind sharing what your general exposure times for the different meshes that you use ? Also, are you coating 1 and 1 or? I'd recommend an Epson printer. The new 15000, but with the chip shortages, still hard to get. Highly recommend AccuRip too ! I'm surprised you didn't do the black last? thank you 🙂 much appreciated! And, hey, yeah I watched the whole thing ! Good job

      Yes it’s baselayr. I have a video dedicated to that emulsion and the times I use to expose the screens, id check that video out! I expose mine at about 17-20 seconds
      I do use accurip! Love it. And in this run I just so happened to not do it last but it still worked out!

      17-20 seconds exposing with fluorescent bulbs? Which bulbs are you using? Or are they LED?

    • @celticmandoplayer
      @celticmandoplayer 2 года назад

      @@GrafXnj That's what's surprising to me too because I run a LED exposure unit from Ryonet and normally use 40 seconds and it's right on with my exposure calculator. Baav Productions has a fluorescent unit and that is amazing that he's getting good results with that 17-20 seconds.

    Yeo Bro, I am your new subscriber and I am beginning to study all of your video's and I am thinking of starting something out for my kids. How would you describe me to begin the process as a beginner. As I could see your using high quality equipment but as a beginner should I high quality or a basic. Thanks

      @baavproductions  2 года назад +1

      Mhm that’s a good question. I guess it all comes down to how serious you want to get with it. You can get a cheaper set up but the biggest thing I’ve learned with screen printing is starting with a low set up just makes it harder to learn because it makes the whole process harder to get dialed in. Gonna try to make a video on a beginner set up
