Hi Maangchi. I am sorry to bother you. I have a question. I Had a best friend in elementary school that would bring " seaweed cookies" her mother made her to school everyday. I ate them all the time with her ( not knowing they were seaweed cookies) they were so delicious. I remember embarrassing myself by stating " seaweed is so gross" ( never eaten seaweed to my knowledge) When she laugh hard and informed me I have been eating seaweed for the entire school year! :D sorry for the long story. So a few days ago my son ( 10 years old) asked me if I know how to make seaweed cookies. I told him there delicious and this story. My daughter (13 years old and taught herself Korean) suggested I should ask you if you have any recipes. We watch your show all the time. So I am wondering if you have any recipes for them?

Hello maangchi, i did your mandu guk, first i thought i missed something in the prawn dumplings as i found them flavourless then i remember they used to be eaten with a sauce and that we had to eat the soup with kimchi. It was the occasion for my husband to taste my homemade kimchi. He was a little ill but when he ate the soup..... he said 'delicious', ate three times with kimchi and told me 'maangchi recipe is delicious and so fresh!' And i was proud. Thank you very much 😘🤗 next time i'll try to make the dumplings some time before and froze them a little because half of the dumplings opened while cooking 😋
Maanchi, I went to my very first Asian market the other day. I was in hog heaven. I was trying to Remember that video that u did a few year’s ago about what to buy at an Asian market and my brain went blank. But I found all kinds of frozen dumplings and Mandu and that big old green onions like u had on here and the daikon radish. I came home and had to totally rearrange my freezer to fit everything in it. So anyway I re watched ur video that u made with the grocery store and have a big list to buy when I get to go bk. I live in a small town in OH so it’s not very close to me. Oh and the different types of mushrooms. I have seen these kind of mushrooms on ur videos and other Asian RUclips food channels but I was so surprised to see I could buy them here in OH. The biggest surprise to me was the cost. I thought everything would be a lot more expensive since it had to be imported but it was cheaper there then our local grocery store or on Amazon. So thank u.

You make every recipe seem so easy! I've tried this recipe and it is awesome. Besides the green onions, I added bitter melon slices the last few minutes of cooking (I wanted the bitter melon cooked keep that crunch). Also, instead of fish sauce I used sea salt. It still came out tasting good! By the way, I love your cook stove top!

You make every recipe seem so easy! I've tried this recipe and it is awesome. Besides the green onions, I added bitter melon slices the last few minutes of cooking (I wanted the bitter melon cooked keep that crunch). Also, instead of fish sauce I used sea salt. It still came out tasting good!
