    I’m really proud of this king-size kimchi-filled dumplings recipe. I worked and reworked the ratio and technique until I was fully satisfied with the end result. I ate a lot of mandu! But it was worth it in the end, because these are so good. I’m still eating them!

      @@zhikalhassan4214 , the ones with chicken, she did not cook in the pan, but the pork or beef, yes. Anyway, I think you can cook the chicken also, I would do it, but chicken cooks fast in the steam, so I guess it would be ok.

    So today I decided to make polish dumplings(pierogi) tomorrow. To do this I need to prepare the inside a day earlier.Traditionally they are made with potatoes and white cheese called “twaróg”, (or sauerkraut with mushrooms, or meat etc). So I’ve peeled the potatoes, boiled them, and then it came out that I have too many potatoes. I looked around the kitchen, saw a cabbage and thought kimchi, Maangchi! What I did was: took 3 leaves of the cabbage, washed them, sliced and let them sit in salt for a while, then I put it on a pan, mixed with one TBS rice vinegar. Once it was soft, I combined it with crushed potatoes, and dried mushrooms. It came out very tasty. YOU ARE AN EXTREME INSPIRATION!!! THANK YOU!!!

    I made a small version of this yesterday in a huge batch with my brother. We made probably 80 of them while having beers and watching TV. It was a very good time and super delicious!

    I made this today...i follow all exact ingredients and measurements...my only mistake is I rolled it too thinly and made a little hole when I'm wrapping, but still delicious and it's my first attempt. I can do better in my next attempt.
    Thank you Mangchi❤️

    In russia we have a dish which is like almost the same and it is called manti(it is originally from Kazachstan or Uzbekistan I do not remember ) but we use ground meat and onion and we only steam them BUT it is so tasty I could eat a whole steamer just by myself...

    I'm into my third hour watching your videos. Everything looks so good, Maangchi. Thank you! I like the vegan recipes and those that can be adapted, like these kimchi dumplings. The newly-formed raw dumplings are so lovely - they look like a beautiful milkweed pod.

    I was not even interested in Korean food and then I stumbled upon your fun and informative videos. I love your personality, Maangchi! Keep up the good work. I'm making Ppang (bread rolls) right now!

    • @Nikhil-ty3rk
      @Nikhil-ty3rk Год назад

      "Ppang" comes from Japanese "pan", which comes from the French "pain", or bread.
      So it's not Korean food.
