    Fantastic !! I can't wait to use Spad.Next to configure my CM2, CP1, & CP2 (VIrpil) to get the push-button LED's to do certain functions like Master Caution, Master Warning (light up amber push and silence, light up red push and silence). Should make for an interesting configuration. The problem is, every plane is different and it will take a lot of time for each plane profile. It might be worth it. But back to your video, awesome stuff, can't wait to configure.

      You can’t there are some hard coded elements in the radio panel. Like the labels and how long the numeric display can be. EDIT... I had Multipanel on my mind... See below.. you have to move the Format of the display... For stuff like this I would use the Discord or the Forum so you can post pictures ... RUclips comments for tech support kind of "suck" :)

    Hi Les.
    I'm trying to setup acceleration on the inner tuner on the radio panel.
    I can get it to adjust heading, with acceleration, but I can't get it to work for the com radio profile.
    Are there any downloadable profilesn that have acceleration on the radio tuning knobs?

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  Год назад +1

      no you will need to do this by using conditions and local variables to send multiple events or single events

    Ok, I've installed the snippet by Les for the G1000 radio panel and it appears that the code is there to change freq spacing mode.
    When I switch the top panel to COM1 and the lower panel to COM1 and press the top right button for more than a second, nothing happens.
    I know I had it aset up correctly before, but I can't work out now how to change back from the 833 spacing to the 25hz spacing.
    Sorry to keep asking you stuff Les, but I appreciate it very much.

      Note that you may need to move the dial once just to see the displays update. Think there was something about it needs one update to register.

    How do I add the sixth character to the radio panel if there are only five of them in each display?

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  3 года назад

      You don't -- as per the video you can select in SPAD which side to drop off... In this config If I am working with 8.33Khz spacing Mode then I drop the Left Digit (the 1) so that I can see all 3 decimal places.... When I switch to 25Khz spacing then I drop the Right digit and get 2 decimal places... The 1 is redundant... it's always a 1...

    A lot of effort must have gone in creating these great configurations, very useful videos: thanks Les!
    I'm using this profile and it's a huge improvement. 1 question tough: how to configure the acceleration of the dials? I'm playing around with the settings but it doesn't seem to have any effect. That's really a pity because without this in 8.33Khz spacing Mode it takes an endless time to reach the right frequency.

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  2 года назад +1

      Acceleration you can do with Data changes.. if you want to use events you need to send more of them at the same time… there is a video about how to create your own acceleration. And apparently turns out even though I thought sensing multiple events would not work it will…

      A bit silly to reply so quickly on my own post. But changing the Saitek radio panel device setting "Tuner Pollrate" and changing the value to "0" helps already a lot. Acceleration is not yet working tough.

    Hi Les. Great profile and great explanation how to program the radio. It works like a charm on the Cessna 172. I've tried this profile with A32NX but my Logitech radio panel does not light up. Do you know why? Is there any profile working with the Airbus? Thank you and keep up with the great tutorials you are doing!

    • @LesOReilly
      @LesOReilly  3 года назад

      The "Virtual Power" setting on the top right of the Panel in the GUI is probably conditionally set to say the Standard Avionics switch... Which is not in the A32NX ... So I would just change that to a Battery Variable instead..
