Your demonstration and explanations are really great. It is advanced, so one must understand FSX/FSUIPC/SPAD and how they work with FSX.

Hi from the south of Spain. Ow man, you opened a new world to the use of my saitek hardware. I knew Spad but had no clue that it could be so versatile and flexible. A big thumbs up for you and your nice videos. Just one question. What panel is most suitable for the implementation of EFIS control panel in PMDG737NGX? A radio panel, perhaps? I am interested in how you have frequencies to three decimal places on your radio panels. My panel only displays two decimal places. I am running X-Plane on an iMac computer.

he's only doing it on a proramming screen,,, the actual units only have 2 to the right of the decimal

Thanks very much for these videos. This inspired me to buy the radio panel and set up modes for autopilot control among other things. This is exactly what I've been looking for. 4 encoders that can be freely configured in many different modes. Do you know if it's possible to change the "speed" of the encoders? It's quite cumbersome to make big changes in heading for example.

Hi there,
First of all...thanks for the ultimate settings for my multipanel. But the trim knob for setting the vs is not working in my panel. And how can i set buttons for toggle between engage speed mode en hdg mode because when i want to change that with the turningknob nothing happens. Have to click with my mouse on the turningknobs in the sim to get them of the fms mode.

Question I was wondering in the radio panel dme part were you have the fuel amount is there a way to have it so it tells you the mileage in nm left for the fuel that are in the aircraft tank tanks?

There is no existing variable that can do this. Probably because there are so many different factors that would go into an equation like that, such as, the type of aircraft, the power setting, the mixture setting, current burn rate, etc.
However, If you are really interested in this, it is more than likely possible. You would need to ask the developer if this is possible using advanced custom variables.
Basically what you would ask him for, is a custom variable equation, that stores the value of "fuel_remaining" divided by "current_fuel_flow_per_hour" call this variable "x". (this will tell you how many hours of fuel remain at the current burn rate).
And then you would set up a display value on your radio panel, that would show you "ground_speed_in_NM" multiplied by "x". (this would tell you the distance of how many NM you could go based on the current burn rate and fuel quantity remaining.)
Unfortunately I dont have the expertise to program such an equation in Spad, but if you do end up getting an answer from the developer, please reply to this post, as I would be interested in seeing how it is done as well. Good luck!.

I have an updated gps for FXS that tells me the distance left for fuel that's in my plane I just don't know how to get that info and get it to spad Radio panel config think it would be a good feature for the radio panel tweaks that you did. maybe you can email ill send you the update gps you can look at it ... email [e-mail] if you want thanks Robert ceo/EasternHops flightSim Community

Unfortunately the command AP_VS_VAR_DEC and INC, doesn’t work in pitch trim. Any suggestion?

I solved, if parameter value = 100 the trick doesn’t work. Parameter value must be = 0

Nope, I didnt remove them, they should still be there. I checked just now, and both radio1 and radio2 profiles are still there.
