Your videos are so helpful! I'm right handed and would've never thought of the simple trick to do my dominant hand first, I wish I would've seen this video before blotching it lol :)
Such a great video, Chelsea. I always learn something useful from each one. I never thought of an empty stomach being the reason my hands are so shaky. I will for sure have a snack before getting started last time. I feel like doing my nails is like a time warp and before I know it a couple hours have gone by. The colors and glitters are gorgeous! Thanks so much for all the helpful tips! 🌸
Yessss! I was the SAME way!! Especially in the mornings when I get my youngest to preschool. I would have my coffee and before I know it, I’ve been doing my nails for 2 hours on an empty stomach and I blinked and it’s lunch time 🫣🤣 It’s like when I go into target and come out 4 hours later 😆😆
I love how you mentioned the food. Never thought about it, but I can see how that will help me. I’m also learning that I need to take the dog to the bathroom first as well. Haha!
Love your tips and tricks video series! I have even incorporated them into my routine. It does take time and after doing my nails for 2 years, I am still working and improving on my routine. :)
I rarely comment on videos, but this was an amazing video. It was precise, full of helpful info, but most importantly, easy to understand and follow. Thank you!
Welcome to our little dip community! I love that you’re willing to try it out 💖 I LOVE Candi’s skincare. Her oils are phenomenal and she has sooo many yummy scents! I have some coupon codes to her shop linked in my description box under “discounts”. It’s not a commission or anything so I don’t earn by saying that, I truly just enjoy her products and passing along some savings 😊 hope this helps!
Hi! I've watched quite a few of your videos and I love all the content, tips and tricks! Maybe I've missed it in another video, but how long do you let the powder dry between coats, before you brush the excess powder off? Thanks! 😊
Hello! I love all your videos! They've been so helpful 🥰 can I ask what would be your recommended number of layers for nails this length? I've been playing around with the 3/4 method but can't find what works best for this length! Thank you!
The 3/4th method would be great for this length! I usually stick to 2 layers of color and 1 dip of clear. If your nails are flat you can def do the 3/4th method though! When I have shorter nails I typically stick with the quickest route of 2 full dips of color and 1 dip of clear 🥰
@@SipAndDip thank you for taking the time to reply 🥰🥰. I used to just do the three layers but found they would begin to chip quickly. Mind you, that was ahwile ago and my technique has improved a bit 🤔
Hello I have a question so I just started doing dip nails about 3 wks ago and last wk I did 1 hand with my natural nails and a few days later they started chipping and I did all the usual prepping so what do you think is happening 🤔
My tips for nails that last 1 month, no chipping or pooping off, Make sure you take care of cuticles, trim or use a cuticle remover, use a glass cuticle pusher to remove dead skin, I know a lot of people say don’t wash your hands, but I found that scrubbing all my nails with Dawn dish soap and a nail brush after all prep but before dehydrator/primer. I found that when I wash with Dawn, my nails last FOREVER!
So I still haven’t really conquered my fear of efiles 🫣 I purchased an inexpensive one and have tried it a few times but it terrifies me. I seem to be faster and more efficient with hand filing. I’m hoping to spend more time getting comfy with an efile soon though 💗 sorry I’m no help in that department!
@@SipAndDip Chelsea, key from my experience is to use a fine grit band on a low speed like 3. Let the drill do the work. Don't press. For sealing the cuticle, I'd use a ceramic safety bit or a 5 in 1 fine bit. Make sure you are constantly picking up the drill as you file otherwise, it can burn. Let's say I learned this the hard way 🙄😂 When in doubt, slow.

For just a simple mani like this, 1 hand is around 30-45 min 💗 and thank you for the kind words!
Is there a reason you do top coat twice?
Love this mani!!!!
Thanks Diane!! Did you grab that collection?! I’m excited for matching toesies!

I have left comments and questions but don’t see that you have received them. Am I doing it right.
Hi Mary! I’m so sorry to hear that! RUclips is so tricky with comments being lost and filtered. I will try to hunt yours down! 💖
