#micdrop 👏👏👏👏 Thank you, awesome comment, and in turn, it's positive comments and people enjoying their watches that is another reason why I love it this hobby. Best regards, TGV

Bought the 290 in 1991., as a 13 year old.. catching my eye out of the whole wall of Casio's... Going from "never-off-wrist" teenager's daily beater, to neglected, then to "rediscovered", finally to "precious", still part of my life today, looking forward to a soon coming day when I will tell about it to my son and asking him if he would wear it... I appreciate the love and attention you have and give to all of us for this quirky companion of ours! Cheers, amico!!
My parents got me this watch as a kid in the early 90's and I still remember how cool the backlight was to me, and to have all those features in one watch. My father is who got me into watches as a kid and your videos on the 290 made me get one 27+ years later.
I bought the gw-m5610 for my job. Something’s that’s not gonna make me regret bumping it into something. But I saw this review and the other one and since then thought the dw-290 just looked cooler. For sports, I use the g-shock everlast watch and it’s incredible. I gave the square away and purchased the MI watch. I don’t need 2 beater watches. Thank you for keeping us interested in watches, even for those of us who can’t afford Rolex.
My favorite Casio is the DW5600BB-1, the all blacked out version of the DW5600. I love its minimalism and tactical look. The DW5600 case shape is to me more timeless in design, while the DW290 has a very charming 90's style to it that reminds me of things I used to own in my childhood, like Nerf guns and Super Soakers. I think I might pick one up for myself!
Worn mine today. I love the first mission impossible film and bought this watch based on that appearance. Thanks for creating a proper video on this forgotten gem. You are a legend
SENSATIONAL ACCURACY! This video persuaded me (already a Casio fan) to get a DW290. I wasn't disappointed! Its every bit as good as he says, but in addition, my particular watch is accurate to within +2.5 seconds per month. The official spec of the DW290 is +-15 s/month.
TGV! I just recommended the solar/atomic version of this to a fellow scuba diver who had no clue what affordable/simple watch to get, it does it all in any rough situation! Haven't even finished watching but I don't need to to say stellar production as always!
I have the same enthusiasm for the g9000 mudman. When I first saw it I thought it was ugly, but the more I came across it, the more the design grew on me, with the big buttons and the blue and red bars on the edges of the screen. I pulled the trigger and it seems to "hold it's own" against my gwm5610 thanks to it's quirky design. In conclusion, Casio g9000, cracking piece!
YESSSSS love the Muddy, I owned one too and gave it to a friend as a gift. VERY similar feeling to the DW290, cracking choice and comment, thank you Aron, I might have to buy it again. Best regards, TGV
I bought the DW290-1V a couple months ago thanks to your previous video and absolutely love it! I wear it every time I go running now. Also picked up a Squale thanks to you. Keep up the great work, TGV!
Another fun & informative video, TGV! Thank you. These two Casio models for sure are iconic, but imho the absolute best bang for buck G-Shock Square is the GW-M5610. Mine has literally through hell in the past two years ive owned it. And it is still reliable/accurate thanks to Solar and Multiband 6 - two functions I would never want to miss in any digital watch anymore.
Loved the show T! I seem to be wearing my 5610 a hell of a lot these days! Maybe too much! Big fan of both of those watches! I ended going for the 5610 because A the red frame around the screen is red like the original G! B loved the solar power!! The DW290 also has the red frame which is another reason why I love it;) keep on Casio’n!
I was looking for a sports watch realizing my watches are too nice to go on long bike rides.....I just got my answer and ordered the DW290. I had one in the 80s and quite frankly...forgot about it. It was/is a great, durable watch. Thanks for the video!
The reason I now own 3 G Shocks is your channel. I knew Casio watches were great value for money as I had owned many over my life. But your passion for them made me decide to get the 1st one. I quickly added 2 more within a month of buying the 1st. I also plan on adding a couple more. Thank you TGV for the passion you portray in Horology and watches from 30 bucks to many thousands.
Great vid TGV, I love your enthusiasm for affordable brands like Casio. I’ve got the DW5600MS - blacked out with negative display, and I love it. My go-to for anything outdoors. I’ve also got the A168 which is my office watch until I pull the trigger on my first automatic. Great little watch with a surprisingly good bracelet.
Yes, yes and an extra side helping of yes! Love Casio. Currently have 5 in my collection, Inc a couple of square G Shocks, a couple of databanks and an A158 that I bought in Paris. I can't imagine any will ever leave my collection whilst other watches may well come and go. 80s styling is still as cool today as it was back then! As always great video 👍
I have served for almost 8 years in the british army and often you can spot a soldier a mile away just walking through any town or city by their watch which more often then not is a G-shock of some description or a casio F-91W. Nowadays I see a lot more soldiers leaning towards garmin watches but I would still say the casio variants and the gshocks are the most common. I will be purchasing one very soon based off of this video, I'm currently wearing an MWC W10 which is the navy version of the G10, but for me I worry too much about damaging it day to day in work. Love the channel keep up the good work :)
First of all, and most importantly I have to thank you for your service. All great feedback, I hear that a lot from friends and family who serve. As for the MWC, very cool indeed. Thank you for the support too, O&U! Best regards, TGV
To give a quick update I purchased this watch about a month after this comment and have used the watch ever since. I absolutely love it, I was worried about the big and awkward shape of it but, it has proven so good. Works incredible in all conditions, especially with the easy to press buttons, so its easy to use wearing gloves. The only gripe I had was the original strap being slightly uncomfortable so I swapped it out for the one found on my CA-52 and it wears incredibly well on wrist. Very comfortable. Cannot recommend this watch enough, tough, reliable, keeps time well, is very easy to read in low light especially with Electro luminescence, and is relatively cheap.
Good evening TGV, great that we have this in-depth video of this iconic Casio watches. Gave my DW5600 some wristtime today. So I enjoy this video very much this evening. Best regards!
I regularly talk to people in at least 3 time zones. When a beater watch will do I wear the DW-291, which combines the functionality and control layout of the Casio AE-1200 "Casio Royale" with a robust case, mineral crystal, and 200m water resistance. The feature I like the most: a large time display. A 10 year battery (CR2025) is also an advantage. I do often wear the DW-290 when cycling. I can time my ride and still see the local time, something the DW-291 does not do.
I don’t think I’ll ever tire of listening to you talk about G-Shocks and Casios in general. Your enthusiasm is just contagious. I just love the design of the 290, and I do agree on most of your points - it’s a very, very cool watch! My favorite right now, however, is the S5600U - the updated titanium/carbon fiber-square. That one is close to perfect, and has been living on my wrist since I got it right after it was released earlier this summer. Of course it’s a lot more expensive, but I just dig it. Keep up the good work, T!
I wore my DW290 in a motorcycle driving class this week thinking I might fall over and scrape up my watch. Fortunately both my DW290 and my body survived with no injuries! Love the watch and it looks cool while riding.
I owned a Casio once but never got on with it really, probably because I’m a 3 hand guy. My daughter had loads of g shocks from white to pink but even she no longer has a digital watch and appreciates the luxury watches, probably my influence. Great video as ever though 🙏
I'm a first responder and have used a Casio G Shock GW530A for over 10 years on patrol. Before that I had it's predecessor, that I can't even recall the model number. They're great because of the Tough Solar and atomic timekeeping. Literally set and forget. I'm halfway through my career and since becoming a supervisor four years ago, its time for a change. I started to get serious about watches recently. I'm planning on upgrading to a Citizen Super Titanium Promaster Eco-Drive BN0200-56E. I think the price, features, looks, and light weight will be perfect for the next 10 years! My Seiko King Samurai is my "weekend watch". Thanks for encouraging and informing me on my new watch hobby!
Once more something I didn't know. G Shocks have been around since 83' so the model line is a year older than me.lol. You can see that you're not faking it. To the beginning of the channel, you always bring a serious and complete review and historical context whether it's a Casio or an FP Journe. I for one appreciate it. Thanks again
You recommended this watch and I was so taken with your review that I bought one and I love it as much, if not more, than you do. I have you to thank for this and I greatly appreciate it! I am in your debt! Greetings from down here in Newark, Delaware!
That's just ridiculous, wow! I have one and it has seen so much mountain biking, scuba diving and all kinds of rough work and it's no worse off than the day I bought it, the thing will survive conditions that will kill a human long before the watch fails.
G-Shock 5600E Tough Solar. Never to have to open the case back to change a battery. I checked out the prices of the DW290 on the Casio website in Australia. Not listed. The Australian Amazon website has the price of the DW290 at $63.61 plus a $8.41 delivery charge. A rip off!
I wonder why such a nice thing like a watch should be indestructible ? Non of my beloved pieces will survive a blast from my 12/70 side by side S&S shotgun. They are not meant to be abused like this and anyone who treats his watch in such a way does not deserve it BASTA !😧😧😧
GREAT video as always TGV. My favorite James Bond movie is hard to say but I would have to go with Goldeneye. The opening scene is still.... WOW! My favorite beater watch is my Casio G-Shock DW5600. My son Marshal bought it for me when I was just getting into watches. He is the one who turned me on to your channel and that is one of the many things I am grateful to him for. Today is his 27th birthday and he will be getting a Casio. Yes, you have turned me into a lover of all things Casio. Thank you for ALL you do for our watch community. Arrivederci!
The DW5600 has been a trusty sidekick of mine for many years along with the MDV106 as my beaters. Recently came across DW6900 which has bumped the Marlin down a few notches. I have been eyeballing this DW290 since you first reviewed it. I think I'm finally sold.
I have a casio-gd350 and have had it for around 5-6 years, it is one of the best watches I have ever owned and is still going strong. It also has a feature where you can tilt the wrist into a natural viewing angle and the light will activate, saving you from pressing any buttons in low light conditions. It also has a vibration on the hour. My mind was blown whenever I learned of these features. :P
You introduced me to the DW-290. I bought one 15 minutes after watching your original video on it. This then sent me down a Casio rabbit hole, I now own three. 1. The DW-290. (I actually have two, one as a beater, and the other as a sort of “hero” watch.) It’s insane to me how a 30-40 dollar watch can be so versatile (probably not the first choice to wear with a suit or tux, yet it’s been done) and the water resistance means that if you want one watch to rule them all, the little 290 makes a strong case to be that watch. I love my little 290. 2. The Casio AW-81. A square little daily that has so much 2000’s charm in its design. It disappoints me to see this watch not paired with a Moto Razr and a frosty iMac. It’s world time function and $15 dollar price tag make it an easy buy and recommendation for a slightly different travel watch that if something happens to it, oh well, but you just love looking at it. 3. My first G-Shock, the MT-G-900DA. This is the silver version of my favorite G-Shock, the MI:3 MTG-910D (which is insanely expensive nowadays.) One day I will snag a 910, and the DW-6900 from MI-2, but for now my little chrome G-Shock scratches the itch for that “super spy” g shock. It’s more expensive than the other two Casio models I own, by a good margin, but it’s got that same charm and charisma as the 290. It can do everything and it makes it so easy. Plus with solar power and atomic time keeping it is always ready and always accurate. This flies with me as much as my Citizen Skyhawk it’s that useful. Honestly, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the MTG-900 line of G-Shocks; I don’t think they get enough love for what they can provide. Clear skies, TGV, keep it up!
Amazing comparison! Both watches offer amazing value at an almost unbelievably affordable price point. Being a Mission Impossible fan myself, I am very tempted
Dollar per spec, and taking into account the nostalgic cool factor, the Casio Royale is the greatest watch in horological history. Thanks for the great content.
Hey TGV, I just wanted to point out how much I enjoy your recent 80s synthwave intro. That brings to life so many fond memories from a very cool decade. Best regards, Klaus
Excellent breakdown TGV! I got the DW290 due to your original video & it is between my DW290 & my G-Shock G7900A-7 as my ultimate beater watch. Love Casio, got 7 myself.
I love my 290 but I have a sweet spot for my 5600. The square is just so iconic and is the right level of retro for me. Definitely my favorite Casio. The newer Casioak is also wonderful and I have been wearing it a bunch!
Love the enthusiasm for you have for this watch, so much so that half way through this I went on Ebay and ordered myself a DW 290, this will be my 10th Casio! and I love them all.
I have a DW5610, which I love. Might just have to add the DW290 to the collection after watching this - the clarity and legibility of the display, and the fact that it doesn’t need strap adapters count for a lot…
I have a g shock mud man that I wear for work everyday and I wouldn't wear anything else. It's rugged and when I get it dirty all I do is rinse it of and keep going. That's what they made these watches for. As always keep up the good work 👍
😎🙏 Fantastic, I love hearing from fans of this watch, it's something you truly have to try to fully get it. Enjoy it Terry, thank you, Best regards, TGV
I have one 290 for about 12 years. Changed it's batery twice. I can't compare it's durability with the gshocks cause I don't have one, but my 290 is absolutely durable. Love it.
Halfway through this video, I went and ordered one. Been looking for a good all around everyday use watch. Still cannot find a decent skx 007 to come to the store though! One day!! Keep up the great work!!
I've owned 4 Casio DW290 in over 20 years, first one i lost within 2 weeks when i left it on my motorcycle seat and rode off, the second one i tried to replace the battery myself and broke it, the third i lost in a fast running creek after my arm caught on a tree branch, this latest one i bought a few months back, i just love them so much as you can tell, my first one cost me $200 Australian Dollars, the next 2 cost me $50, i bought those on eBay, the 3rd i also bought on eBay but the price went up to $100, still worth it. After breaking my second one and owning it for over 10 years, i decided i'd put it to some tests, i froze it in water for a week, boiled it in water for 15 minutes, had it submerged in a glass of water for 12 months, and finally i put it in a jar filled with Methylated spirits for a week, not one drop of water or Metho got inside that watch, i was so impressed, as i said, i just love this watch.
TGV!!! You must stop this immediately!!! Everytime you drop a new video, I have literally just climbed into the jet and must attend to the art of screaming through the atmosphere!! 😜😂😂......looking very much forward to watching the video as soon as possible. Be well my friend! Thank you! Onward and Upward!!
This is why the Urban Gentry Channel is amazing.one day he could be reviewing any number of high end swiss or japanese watches.weather dive/field/dress,and the next giving a fantastic review of a Casio DW-290.he has a great appreciation of all watch genres across the horological spectrum not to mention the incredible production values that go into these videos.whenever I start to get bored with my collection watching the Urban Gentry re-ignites that fire started so long ago in my teens.
I share your enthusiasm for Casios and currently own four. My favorite is my G Shock DW5600E - it is so retro 80’s cool, incredibly robust and very comfortable on my wrist. I wear it often and I like how it looks on its original strap. It’s a great beater and a great watch. I paid $42 for it. Casio offers amazing value for under $50.
Love the enthusiasm over the Casio! The DW5600-E is my trustworthy workhorse when I’m outdoors in the garden or with the children. Iconic in design and indestructible.
I love this Casio watch and have owned it for 3 years or so... I agree it has that fun x factor that makes it more enjoyable to wear over any of the 8 different gshocks I own.
I've owned quite a few G-shocks but my 5610 has been my go to for about 5 years and still going strong. The dw290 has been on the radar though. May have to give one a try. Thanks for the video :)
Bloody awesome choice sir! Please do consider the DW290, I would love to hear/see your take on it. Stay well my friend, thank you for the support and comment, it never goes unnoticed! Best regards, TGV
Like most people I have had a few Casio's, Gshocks and normal. My favourite one which has been on so many adventures is a Casio ae2000w, it is a 10 year battery multi time zone watch. Has served me well and the 10 year battery is into its 11th year. Such great quality for minimum price. Great video TGV 👍
Thanks for your DW-290 review and recommendation. Received just over a week ago and it has quickly become my go-to active wear watch. I had fully expected to replace the OEM strap but to my surprise I love the original strap as it allows for a loose fit while keeping the watch in place on my wrist. I also think the strap looks better than most replacement alternatives anyway. I did get the adaptors and put a black nato on my 5600 which is a decision I’m quite happy with. All in all, I agree with you that I find the 290 to be an overall better option than the 5600 for me personally…cheers
I keep looking at G Shocks, simply because I find the history and technology fascinating. However, my 15yr old Seiko 5 has seen me through 2 house renovation projects, countless garden jobs, bike rides and trips to the beach, and never misses a beat. Apart from a few minor scratches it’s still looking good. I could even get away with wearing it with a suit and it wouldn’t look ridiculous. So, is the 5 an equivalent, or even a better, beater watch? Terrific video, as always, TGV - always glad to see you feature watches from all price bands, rather than just luxury watches! Keeping it Gentry!
Another awesome video! I bought the cheaper W-740 as I really liked the shape of it and the appearance slightly better than the DW-290. It’s still got 100m wr, which is fine as I can still swim with it, which I am not planning on anyway. I believe it has the exact same module. The description said calendar until 2099 and 2yr battery life typically. I too love this one,. My wife also recently bought me an army green calculator watch (CA53w) and I absolutely love it too. Onwards and upwards, matey!
I've had a GW-M5610 for a couple of years now. Switched the stock bracelet with a ballistic nylon NATO one. It's light, accurate, good looking and indestructible.
i have actually thought about buying that watch. its one of the bestsellers in the watchstore where i just bought watches. i regret not buying it at the same time
Love the channel, my beta is the red Casio G-7900, I paid $50aus on Facebook . Totally bomb proof and I’m still finding new function that I use every day.
I have an original Japanese version of this watch which I bought new many years ago when I began teaching. It still works too. I've had to change the strap that wore out and of course the batteries.
Great video. I love how into this stuff you've gotten, it's fun. I have a Casio MTG B-2000 and wanted a beater for fishing (having destroyed my MDV-106!). I eventually settled on the W218H but the DW290 was runner up.
Great points TGV. My beater watch is a Casio solar analog with digital mini dial. Thanks again for sharing your watch enthusiasm without being snob. You're the epitome of Gentry inspiration. Cheers my friend.
I think the dw5600 has a better form factor than the 290. Plus the fact that I've had mine serving for almost 7 years makes it have a special place in my heart. After the 5600 died, I bought a Casio Royale (I think ae1200). Although it is a formal Casio it lacks the ruggedness of the 5600. Now that I have replaced the battery on my 5600, it is the perfect field watch. Highly accurate, legible, lightweight and it's the most rugged watch I own.
As i watch this i am wearing my Lorier Neptune v.3 which i finally got last month after hearing about it in so many top watch lists on your channel and i see why its a brilliant little watch the bracelet is amazing..
I'm a helicopter mechanic and I loved having a watch. Unfortunately I destroyed more watches than I care to admit just from having them on at the wrong time so I began taking them off to do a job. After I ended up dropping a rather expensive Seiko I got as a gift I vowed never to wear a watch again - until I got a Casio 5600. I LOVE it. Yeah it's beaten up and scratched but it still works and it keeps on working no matter how often it gets knocked around under an engine or dropped on the floor. Well worth the $50 I paid.
So glad to see you back TGV. I have had a revelation! Hugo is a reincarnation of Terry Thomas. Ding dong!!l keep up the excellent work old boy. Salutations from Belfast Northern Ireland 🇬🇧
My "beater" tends to be the Casio "Duro." But I must say that Casio's quality and range of watches has come up in recent years. Their Edifice line is quite nice and I always have liked their G-Shock analogs but have warmed up to their digitals because of the simplicity of the dial and the variety of features like you have pointed out with this model. I will have to look into the DW290. Thank you!
I loved the video. I have been an avid G-Shock collector for years. My go to daily G-Shock is the GW-9400 Rangeman. I love the features and functionality of it!
TGV, I love my DW-5735D with its gorgeous golden display (far sharper in definition and legibility than the DW-5600-1Vx), second is the GW-B5600-2ER (traded legibility for functions). But you've given me a lot to think about with this hidden gem. Great simple and fun review. Keep them coming!
I’ve been using the watch for about half a month now, all because of your video form a couple months ago. I like MI movies and the first one brings back memories from when I was a kid so it’s cool to have the watch, and so far so good, I use it everyday at the gym and it’s really helpful especially the countdown function when resting between sets. And now that you are mentioning BTTF I’ll have to pull the trigger on Marty McFly’s Casio because it’s epic.
I woke up last night at 3:30 am ... Unfortunately, I decided to check my phone and RUclips specifically... 15 minutes later I ordered DW290-1V "Classic" from Amazon... Thank you for the review.
Your point about readability is important. Too many times I've tried to read my Casio 5600 and couldn't at the gym, and at other places. I think I'm moving to the newer ones with analog dials. They are great, though! Nice video!
Casio makes a fine watch. I'm a big fan of the Casio Edifice but the G-Shocks are Awesome. If I was going to spend big right now on a watch I get the all metal casioak in stainless steel! I have the first G-shock and it is a fine watch and it is still being made! My favorite thing about Casio, besides the price, is they only make quartz watches and never made a mechanical watch. Nice video. I missed videos on Casio and Casio G-Shock. Casio DW290 Under 40 on Ebay as of Aug-28
HUGE Casio fan & I’ve never seen a Mission Impossible movie. If you say Fallout is the best, that’s where I’ll start. I love my 5600 for it’s countdown timer. It’s much more useful than a stopwatch & I use it to time my 30 minutes on my bike trainer, along with another favorite watch, my Polar heart rate monitor, on my other wrist. 😂
The DW290 is one of my current favorites as well, and everything you said in the video resonates. Including the comment about thinking it was ugly before. The one I have now is my second, and I do love it. I bought an early one in the late 90s and hated it! I wanted an "Illuminator" GSHock, but the only ones then were the recently released 59/68/6900 "round" series. I went to the shop looking for a "square" Illuminator, which they didn't have. But they DID have a DW290, so I picked it up. Every time I tried to wear it, it just didn't "look right." I don't even remember what happened to that watch. Fast-forward a bunch of years and I decide to try it again. This time, it just "clicked." Go figure.
the fact that you can get a historically relevant, well built and well thought out watch for under 50$ is the main reason why I love this hobby...
#micdrop 👏👏👏👏 Thank you, awesome comment, and in turn, it's positive comments and people enjoying their watches that is another reason why I love it this hobby.

Mudman ❤️
I think it looks hideous no offence the GWM5610 would love to own
I would go for a solar square. It might be because the squares are the most wearable for anyone
I go running with my Dw290 every day. I love it for its versatility and functionality. Just because it's inexpensive, doesn't mean it isn't valuable!
So well said, thank you Keith, I might have to quote you!
Safe and happy running my friend!
Thank you,
Best regards,

I have only beater watches a AE-1000 and 710379
❤💖
Did the green text rub off? How long did it stay in the watch?
I have only beater watches a AE-1000 and 710379
Loved the show T!
My favorite beater is the Timex Atlantis 100. Underrated beautiful watch, reminds me of my military days.
This is by far my favorite episode that you have ever done!
Best regards,
TGV
I’ve been thinking about the DW290 for months now, you have just convinced me to pull the trigger on it. Great video!
My DW290 is over 20 years old. Still wear it. Has never missed a beat.
NOW THAT IS SUPER COOL!!! Thank you Matt, here's to another 20!
Just out of interest, how time have you changed the battery?
Best regards
TGV
@@theurbangentry About every 8 years. My main issue is the internal calendar only runs from 1990 - 2029!
I wore my DW290 in a motorcycle driving class this week thinking I might fall over and scrape up my watch. Fortunately both my DW290 and my body survived with no injuries! Love the watch and it looks cool while riding.
This is a wonderfully interesting and enjoyable video. I have a DW290 thanks to your earlier compelling dissertation on it.
I owned a Casio once but never got on with it really, probably because I’m a 3 hand guy. My daughter had loads of g shocks from white to pink but even she no longer has a digital watch and appreciates the luxury watches, probably my influence.
Great video as ever though 🙏

Baby G will likely be rebranded
These things are indestructible! I’ve seen one resist birdshot from a 12 bore shotgun
OMG, I would love to try and record that.
How are you my friend?
Always great to see that Britannia avatar and comment, thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
I would go for a solar square. It might be because the squares are the most wearable for anyone
What a great coincidence: I received this truely great watch four days ago from my son as a birthday present 👍
Always a pleasure to see a new TGV video... especially when he reviews a budget watch!
👍👍
👍👍👍👍
As always keep up the good work 👍
i bought a DW-290 after you talked about. it is a great watch. it in my rotation now.
😎🙏 Fantastic, I love hearing from fans of this watch, it's something you truly have to try to fully get it.
Enjoy it Terry, thank you,
Best regards,
TGV
I have one 290 for about 12 years. Changed it's batery twice. I can't compare it's durability with the gshocks cause I don't have one, but my 290 is absolutely durable. Love it.
Fine, the straps sold me thought it was too ugly but your points are so valid I can appreciate the looks and value and history, brilliant.
Love your videos. I have my 5600 on today for Saturday cleaning/vacuuming. Also, i got the Mission Impossible Casio after you spoke about it.
LOL!!!!! Thank you my friend, safe flying. Quite literally O&U for you!

It's so difficult not to right?!?! Thank you Guy, the perfect time to wear it!
I hope you are having a great weekend 🥂😎

@@theurbangentry Indeed! Have a great weekend as well, cheers 🥂
I just ordered one after I watched this and I absolutely love it! An excellent addition to my collection!
I love this Casio watch and have owned it for 3 years or so... I agree it has that fun x factor that makes it more enjoyable to wear over any of the 8 different gshocks I own.
I love it! Thank you for sharing TGV! You’re the man.
Best regards,

My favorite quality of G shocks is that they work so well. All of the complications are useful.
What can you say they just work.
One of the best intros for anything I've ever seen in my life. SO epic every single time.
Same here... I recently acquired the DW290 and I cannot get enough of it
Fell in Love with the DW290 after seeing your review amazing watch !
This intro is the absolute best. I crank up the volume every video this plays in!
Fantastic show again just to say I have been a big fan of Casio watches for years for the money you can't beat it 👍👍👍👍👍
Love your enthusiasm for Casio. I have 4, am preparing to buy my 5th, but have to control myself, otherwise I'd have 15 or 20.
G-Shock GW-M5610U-1ER has became my favorite beater watch , with updated module price / performance its just unbeatable .
The W800H is often overlooked but for me is just perfect for around $20.
i have actually thought about buying that watch. its one of the bestsellers in the watchstore where i just bought watches. i regret not buying it at the same time
Love the channel, my beta is the red Casio G-7900, I paid $50aus on Facebook .
Highly accurate, legible, lightweight and it's the most rugged watch I own.
i had one of these when they first came out ,after watching this episode i think i will be getting another ,always a great show, thanks
So cool to see this as I just ordered this watch over the weekend to serve as my beater. Can't wait to get it!
As i watch this i am wearing my Lorier Neptune v.3 which i finally got last month after hearing about it in so many top watch lists on your channel and i see why its a brilliant little watch the bracelet is amazing..
Great video, great video graphics , you love what you do and it come across well in these videos.
Thank you so much William, I deeply deeply appreciate that.
Best regards,
TGV
I will be purchasing this watch today! Incredible value and a chunky look along with that Mission Impossible pedigree. I must own one now 😃
I'm a helicopter mechanic and I loved having a watch.
LOL!!! Ding dong indeed, I say!!!
I love it, I will certainly see what I can do.
Thank you my friend, fantastic idea.

Why do you put that flag in your comments
Great video and i have my new DW290 just arrived today from USA to Argentina.
For me, my Dw5600 is perfect.
DW5600 is my daily while in uniform. Perfect proportions for my wrist. Thanks for the great video TGV!
