I had recently purchase Casio W168 I was surprise that it gave me a feeling that I could had with a Rolex or even better. Apart from the price which is way way much cheaper, the watch in a way transcend time into my childhood and it evokes a certain feeling within. Im in my late 30s and I find myself holding the watch while im sleeping. I guess it's like my 1st love and I thought I had forgotten. Thank you Casio
As a fellow Casio enthusiast who has come up against a lot of snobbery, it is refreshing and comforting to see others who share similar experiences with these little electronic super gizmos. Oceanus, edifice, databank and gshock are the iconic lines in my humble view.
I love casios I really do but Edifice was always like bleh to me until now... Im an F1 fan and when i see the Alpha Tauri watch i was like ...thats looks fine. Can you recomend me some edifice to look out?
This is the first video about quartz and digital watches that I have watched as I have no interest. But I watched right to the end for the quality of humans talking about what they love, such great chemistry. It was so funny trying to see Russell be semi serious whilst talking to TGV, but I can tell the pair of you just wanted to mess around and my inner child loves this. Great video with two amazing characters. Need to do more collaborations like this chaps. Sensational. I do think there was an opportunity missed to show off your tegimented horological sinn, haha.
I was also a mechanical watch snob and even worse an automatic snob. But when your Omega Seamaster has gained about 40 seconds over the month and your Casio G-Shock Mudmaster is + 2 seconds over the same period, you soon lose your snobbiness! I have 3 Casio's plus an Orient quartz Chrono that's more accurate than any Rolex Daytona, and a Pulsar Solar Chrono that never needs a battery, can stay alive in complete darkness for 4 months and hasn't lost even 1 second over 3 months. All of them you can grab from your watch box and go without needing to wind it or change the date. Just about every watch collector will have some quartz in the collection, either as beaters around the house or multifunctional uses like my Mudmaster for trekking weekends. Open your eyes to the possibilities my friend and remember, there is no mechanical watch except possibly the Grand Seiko high beat or Spring Drive models that can compete on accuracy with quartz. Even the cheapest $20 Casio is more accurate than a Rolex.
How am I 6 days late watching this?!?! C'mon youTube algorithm.. FEED ME MORE MWC! This video was just so joyful and fabulous! Thank you sooo much both for such a great video. You guys play so well off each other.
You two are my favorite and I’m so glad to see that your buddies. Great influence for those of us that appreciate where to spend our hundreds instead of thousands. You rock man thanks for your awesome attitude your a good time!!! Be well my friend
What a great show! One of my favourite things about watches is that you can enjoy them at any level, from a humble Casio out of the Argos catalogue to the holiest of the Holy Trinity, they’re all all essentially just watches at the end of the day. And Casio is such a great brand and offer amazing value for money. TGV is a a total legend too so always great to see him on the channel 🙌
You’re welcome! Your enthusiasm for all things Casio inspired me to buy a gw-5000u. Had one, sold it, and decided I needed one again. I have had a number of G’s over the years and have recently been without one. My gw-5000u is in transit from Seiya in Japan and hopefully will be on my wrist tomorrow! Thank you for all you do to support the watch collecting community. Sincerely enjoyed the conversation with TGV. Keep ‘em coming!
So cool that his do it all watch the F158W was the watch I wore all day as well as right now🤣 I got so hype when you said that was the one. I looked over at the same time to my watch when you said “I just love this watch” and I couldn’t help but geek out and audibly say “same!!!!!” While staring at it. Goddamn I love Casios

TGV! He's just the dogs. Got me into watching watch tubes, sooo influential and the benchmark for you watch tubers. MWC is a favorite beause it's got a soul. There was a while where nearly every watch channel just waited to see what TGV did and then just watered it down. Great colab.

Totally agree. There are so many watch channels taking about Rolex' and other super high end watches. Which is fine, I have nothing against Rolexs but would never spend that much on a watch. I've always worn Casio watches. I find pictures of me back in the day wearing a Casio watch. But now I have a little collection because they keep coming out with new watches.

Made my evening watching this - amazing stuff MWC! Anyone remember what the Casio was that Roy Scheider wore in Blue Thunder.....the one with the countdown timer that was displayed by a series of gradually disappearing lines in a circular pattern? Another mostly forgotten Casio line is the Marlin range from the early 80s - you're never going to be repairing oil rigs wearing one of those, but come on, it's a fish with a pointy nose that sounds very cool for school! (cool for skool joke nicely avoided there I thought!)
Like you guys, I have my endless collection of cheap retro-styled Casio watches. One that goes under the radar I feel is A163W! Looks similar to A158 but has very unique text font which I really love.
Another top video both. As a subscriber to TVG and TMW I love this content. Scarily although it's post Halloween I have a number of the watches shown. My collection is now split three ways, the Casio or rather more classic collection that are sometimes rebuys of watches lost or broken in my youth, the G-Shock lot and the others. I have to agree that my memory in pixel G-Shock display is the best of the lot for readability. I love that Casio deliver watches in a cardboard box that by the time someone has drenched the package in a waterfall then crumpled it up enough to be pushed it though the letter box that the watch survives and oddly the micro print instructions do as well while the packaging has been completely destroyed..
This was a great video good to see you two make another video together again all the watches were cool really love the Casio film watches they are really cool.
GBD200 is absolutely my favourite Casio. I wear mine to work every day and it’s rugged af. Got a few scars but it seems indestructible. If you’re looking for a watch and you work in construction then look no further than the GBD200.
My do-it-all is the GBD-800-1B but I love both your choices, especially the film watches and the custom Baby G and really think TGV is right - this is Future G-Shock.

I have to admit…my first digital watch was not a Casio…but the Alarm played The Yellow Rose Of Texas…remember it? Around 1978…
All the best.👍🏾🇬🇧
I love quartz watches especially solar!
Lovely John!
War of the nasal . Fun is fun. Audio is great.
Thanks Paul!! Very kind! No I don’t know but will look this Casio up!!
Yes, a Casio dress watch. You can wear it with your pastel Leisure Suit.
Am Glad tgv mentioned you 10/10
Thanks Goran!!!
Like you guys, I have my endless collection of cheap retro-styled Casio watches. One that goes under the radar I feel is A163W! Looks similar to A158 but has very unique text font which I really love.
Great show, love those ‘out there’ models. A real watch nerd episode. 👍👍
Cheers Jim!!
Hahahaha absolutely true Anthony!!
the Gentleman and the Mad man...what a combo- horological ying & yang !
What an Episode ! This was the best watch collab on any channel. We need more of this!
Absolute stunner of a show.
Thank you my friend!
I'd kill for that film watch. Is so gorgeous.
It’s like watching madness in the opera , and i like it
Great chemistry ! You guys work so well together. Keep it up, please.
My do-it-all is the GBD-800-1B but I love both your choices, especially the film watches and the custom Baby G and really think TGV is right - this is Future G-Shock.
