I’ve always liked conkeldur back in x, my brother traded me his gurder for a pikachu, it was surprising to see it evolve and then it became one of my favorites it is truly and awesome fighting type with guts

I just discovered this channel, and I loved it. Your videos make me travel through time and moments of fun thinking about strategies... the best part of pokemon
I'm so used to seeing Conk in Pokemon Go that I almost forgot what the Gen 5 sprite looked like. Yeah he's got a clown nose but he actually looks gruff and serious. The 3D model did him so dirty, now he just looks goofy.
With a combination of drain punch, match punch, knock off, guts, assault vest and other cool things, conkeldurrr was a staple of early xy battles against my friends. Yeah my friends uses it a lot and it was always really dangerous. Until it just went away...
Cool pokemon, but weird the more you think about it. Does it just Manifest concrete slabs out of nowhere? Or does it just rip the concrete out of the nearest structure when it evolves? How many have died in collapsed buildings due to this menace?
Ah, I remember this boy. I first remember getting into this Pokémon line from seeing Tripps Gurder in the anime. When I got White 2 I used a Gurder on my team, but I could never get it to evolve. I levelled it and levelled but nothing worked, then I quit that save as my only strong Pokémon was the Gurder and it was completely walled by Gethsis. It was only years later I found out you needed to trade to evolve it… it was only recently enough (now that I have friends) I got to use this boy for real.
Look at how they massacred my boy ;~; His Gen 5 sprite has so much personality and as soon as he was in 3D he just looks like he doesn't even know why he's here
I always loved seeing this guy in Trick Room teams, I always thought that smile it has was equivalent to it knowing that it was gonna hit extremely hard with Guts boosted Mach Punch
I have a lot of great memories of Conk carrying me through a ton of battles in Gen 5 singles. Had a small league at my college, and Conk was an absolute workhorse for me. Because of this, I'll always have a strong fondness for my clown ogre construction worker.
Technically, Conkeldurr is not based on a clown, his red nose is not that of a clown but is something typical with which the Japanese represent some older people. This is seen in the fact that both the English and Japanese names refer to older people.
I've never got to use conk during a playthrough because of the stupid trading requirement, but i love his design and is by far the funniest/coolest mono fighting types in the game.
conk has always been my favorite punchy bois. i remember catching a gurdurr and getting so excited when i finally convinced my brother to help me evolve it. Ah the memories. nowadays, i still use him on showdown

Got buff through hard work. 🧱🔨
Construction worker since birth. 🪵
Conkeldurr. 💪
Conkeldurr feels like the Pokemon that should be broken on paper but just isn't good enough to become a super top tier Pokemon because of his typing.
Ah yes. The Pokémon I immediately added to my team the second I got access to trading in Pokémon Black.
Goatkeldurr single-handedly made my guy Machamp obsolete. Made me grow to really enjoy AV as an item
Look at how they massacred my boy ;~; His Gen 5 sprite has so much personality and as soon as he was in 3D he just looks like he doesn't even know why he's here
Finally, the video about Gen 5’s strong fighting types.
About time he got some spotlight. Been asking for him for a year at this point
4:35 words cannot express how happy i am to see how creative the #1 players team is
I always loved seeing this guy in Trick Room teams, I always thought that smile it has was equivalent to it knowing that it was gonna hit extremely hard with Guts boosted Mach Punch
6:43 To borrow a quote from the Reuniclus video:
“Business in the front, party in the back.”
I have a lot of great memories of Conk carrying me through a ton of battles in Gen 5 singles. Had a small league at my college, and Conk was an absolute workhorse for me. Because of this, I'll always have a strong fondness for my clown ogre construction worker.
FSG, do you have a fear of clowns? The video I was long waiting for :)
You should remake Gyarados video
Conkeldurr is a great example of how a small stat change and slight moveset adjustment wouldve made Machamp good.
Technically, Conkeldurr is not based on a clown, his red nose is not that of a clown but is something typical with which the Japanese represent some older people. This is seen in the fact that both the English and Japanese names refer to older people.
Ah yes: pokemon power ranger my favourite ranger game
I've never got to use conk during a playthrough because of the stupid trading requirement, but i love his design and is by far the funniest/coolest mono fighting types in the game.
conk has always been my favorite punchy bois. i remember catching a gurdurr and getting so excited when i finally convinced my brother to help me evolve it. Ah the memories. nowadays, i still use him on showdown
"I'm not here to talk about Heatran"
True, that video would last like an hour and a half
