haha some one has a crush over here XD, but to the point: yeah its a great cover and a difficult song but be honest, the palmmuting in the chorus is one of the hardest things in the song,sure i get why someone would skip it but its not because of Personal addition, its just hard. That doesnt mean i dont like the cover its just less icing on the cake,

As a fellow self-taught guitar player that was a hell of a cover! I'm aiming to cover some of their work as well and hopefully, I can soon! I was in a metal band for 10ish years where I was playing Bass for 75% of that time and then switched to guitar.
Guitar has been a whole new world that I enjoy way more than bass! I looking forward to adding some covers to see how I'm doing!

I've learned to play guitar all by myself after playing trumpet in a brass band. And you know what? I met people who were criticising me just 'cause they had the comfort of Gibson guitars and guitar lessons, etc. But when they made it to the stage, there was no fire in their eyes, there was no spirit in their music. It does not fkn matter what "mistakes" you make as long as you enjoy playing. And let me tell you: you're playing REALLY well. So just ignore them comments about palm muting and stuff, and carry on enjoying music!!!

Ive played Guitar for many years and I enjoyed your performance.
I acutally started this song and couldn't get that main riff either to sound right either with the palm mutes... if you can play that solo flawlessly and everything else perfect and still feel like you need to omit those main palm mutes maybe I should try learning this song again and just omit them too until i can get it to sound better/play it more consistent.
In fact i'm really surprised I didn't realize everyone else thinks that is that hard to get down lol, now i don't feel so bad for giving up :P

I don't know what palm mutes are, but this sounded good to me! :)
I'm self-taught too! No lessons. Had to pick it up and just play anything until i finally figured it out. I cannot read music fluently on guitar but piano lessons helped me know most notes as far as what they are. Only been playing my guitar everyday for 4 years. But this was among the first few songs i learned how to play on my electric. My strum is untraditional and i look awkward but i can shred a little. Fuck hate. It literally has zero effect on you. keep rocking dude! \m/
