    Trust this video!, it worked for me a couple years ago I seen the same solution somewhere else. My air suspension in the winter was sagging in the front & wouldn't go up without blowing a big green fuse (t40 or 40t) or something. I poured a capful in. Bam! Works perfectly. Never a problem again. I added another capful the next year as preventive & thinking about possibly doing it again this winter ❄️ as a preventative. Just a little airline/brake line antifreeze. Not alot 😊... Anyways take care.

    I have a 2016 Ram 1500 Laramie with the air ride. Last winter it started acting up when I got really cold out. Replaced one ride height sensor and had the system recalibrated. It seemed to work fine after(it kinda warmed up a bit above freezing though). Was fine the rest of the year. Now we have had a warmer winter up here in WI but it has finally starting getting colder. The other day I got outta work in it was leaning to the drivers side again. Got it to run back up and drove fine for awhile. Headed down the highway and all the sudden I lost my front drivers side again. Once stopped i could raise it back up and it would stay. Today was a warmer day above freezing…no issues all day. Needless to say I dumped some of that brake line antifreeze in this evening! I’m hoping it works! Thanks for the intel!

    I'm looking at buying a high miles 2016 Ram Rebel. The truck drives great, no Hemi tick, the air suspension pump was just replaced so I'll treat that as a positive I guess, but the one thing keeping me from buying is potential air suspension maintenance and cost. This is a really helpful video. If I do buy it, this will be the first thing I do, given I live in MA.

    Thanks, was wondering where the filter and line was. I would recommend adding some Mystery Oil, or even a little 2 cycle oil. Air brake antifreeze can dry up seals/gaskets. A little oil helps keep them lubricated.

    My suspension acted up all last winter and it didn’t really get back to normal since then. Works fine in summer but when I park it and turn it off the rear goes down to entry exit level and comes up until I turn it back on. Any ideas why this might be? @@forgetthis9 So your rear used to sag as well? One air bag leaking can cause both rear bags to deflate and this causing the rear sag? Did you replace that airbag yourself? If so, do you have a video you recommend? Thank you for your feedback!!

    My Ram rebel just froze last weekend during the cold. Question for you is there a way to get the moisture out before putting antifreeze in or will the antifreeze help

    • @WikedWips
      @WikedWips  3 месяца назад +1

      It's tough to get the moisture out that's why the antifreeze helps....remember it's only a cap full so it's not much but it does the trick. Moisture is unfortunately unavoidable and really shows its ugly head in really cold temps. If you look at the comments below you will see how many people this method work for. Also, I'd recommend getting a heated wrap for the compressor while the truck is not in use if ur in super cold temps

      Hey brother, my 1500 is sold, but up until the time I sold it, I never had an air suspension issue again ever since I added a cap full of the air brake antifreeze. If you look in the comments of that video, many people have had success....also if ur in extremely cold climates, you might want to consider a heat wrap on your compressor overnight.

    • @stephster71
      @stephster71 3 месяца назад +2

      @@Whoopsie_All_Z_TimeAt Canadian Tire or a NAPA auto parts store. 50w or 80w "battery blanket". Cost about 50$. You'll also need a couple of 24" inch tie-wraps. There are several videos on RUclips showing how. Very easy. You will have to remove the rear passenger side wheel and wheel-well liner to get access to the compressor from underneath. You just have to slide the battery (heating)blanket around the compressor, then add the tie-wraps to keep it in place. It will have a 3 prong 120v (house) plug that you may plug right to the center council plug with the truck running. Or get a converter and plug it into a cigarette lighter socket in the rear. Unplug when you don't use it and that's all.
