@@numbing6305Nothing wrong, the band just went through a period where they were being called one hit wonders because of Creep which made them mildly annoyed to say the least (MTV Beach house)
First song, Creep: the original Emo, angsty existential resignation music. The song and album that was the pre exploration of the themes that would get completely fleshed out on OK Computer. I love the triumphant return to that almost naive seeming moment when Creep just caught everyone out, if you weren't on to them as a band yet. Ok Computer burst onto the scene and really captured the imaginations of not just the devoted Indie Rockers, but everyone in a massive way, everyone that cared about pop music, anyway, and its potential as an art form. There was a feeling, in a way, of some impending doom, and it hearkened back to the '60s and its naive hope, and a feeling that something like a malaise had set in and was irrevocable. Ok Computer caught that mood. Quite a dynamic band, and some of their early 2000s show were really amazing. Would have loved to catch one of those Glasto sets. .
I like it so much more that Thom played a secondary guitar during the end of The National Anthem to compensate for the lack of horns and trumpets The extra sound and distortion is just a really nice touch too, along with all the other chaotic elements of the song
@@imankamil7983 very infrequently and idk why. Jigsaw is rlly challenging live for thom. But just i personally thinking is their best and it’s my fav and they rarely play it live :(. I hope i get to see them play it live someday
This has to be the strongest performance they’ve had. A broad selection of their best songs, Thom’s presence and the whole bands really jamming out. Climbing up the walls was AWESOME!!
Was right at the front of this gig. The set list of classics combined with the light show they put on was absolutely mesmerising, having this experience entirely in your vision. One of the best live performances I’ve ever been too. Thanks for uploading!!!
this is truly a legendary radiohead concert. last show of the in rainbows tour, opening with creep, and the final performances of jigsaw falling into place and just. this concert definitely feels like the closing of the 2000s chapter for the band
Is no one going to mention the cover of "I feel love" by Donna Summer? 8:45 Thom's smile about it is phenomenal. The most playful I've seen him. It's definitely the note from the song and it looks almost like he gets the idea and goes for it- Either way he's amused, and it's so perfect for the moment. What a phenomenal, infinitely surprisingw artist.
after watching them perform the first 5 songs, i was on the edge of my seat waiting to see if tom was gonna hit the high notes when I heard Nude start update: he did it, that mad lad! it took all of his concentration but he did it!
@@underneonloneliness2 so what? They’re playing there best songs on this setlist. Only a few songs from the bends are worthy of being played live nowadays. They’ve made better songs.
@@joedinnie3079 That’s bollocks the whole of the bends is great. Can’t beat the 90’s rock sound. They need to play that whole album all the way through.
The Everything In Its' Right Place ending is probably the thing which got me hooked on Radiohead back in 2009. One of the most mesmerizing soundscapes I've ever heard.
Excellent work man!!! But please I encourage you to never delete the source file you have for this in case it gets taken down There are other Radiohead bootlegs that weren't saved by anyone after the fact and never resurface
This is probably peak RH, before everything started to diffuse out. Thom in LA, divorce, life, older age, side projects, etc. You can tell it's also very loud on stage, something they've tried to pull back on since it's actually detrimental in the long run and there are consequences to that kind of volume.
I saw like six shows on this tour. Definitely apex Radiohead. There was a ferocity there that has been mostly missing since. The AMSP tour crushed it too, but not like this. The only two performances I’d put on this level are Glasto 2003 and Tel Aviv 2017.
Man, I don't know. I love all eras of Radiohead, but this concert in particular Thom doesn't sound too great. The rest of the band is powerful but I think Thom is drunk.
I finally think I understand "There There".{ just because you feel it doesn't mean it's there} I think it means we can sometimes believe our partner truly sees the relationship as true love , Whilst they in fact don't . Anywho that's my interpretation. Of course, their songs are musical vehicles / the lyrics a vehicle for Thom's ultimate instrument, his voice.
I think this tour - maybe this gig - marks the last appearnce of Rebel Weirdo Genius Thom, and what has followed is Dark Elder Wizard Thom.
Opening right up with Creep. Nice move. Let's get it out of the way ladies and gentlemen.
Best thom haircut ever
Hail to the thief hedge hog hair cut>>
ikr, 2009 thom coolest thom
1991 buzz cut thom>>>
pablo honey long hair thom >
Yeah I love his in rainbows era hair
Opening with Creep and The National Anthem is so unserious. Based as hell
radiohead's most accessible and most inaccessible
I live it❤
can’t believe they really opened with Creep lol
They were like let's get it over with lol
WHATS WRONG WITH CREEP?????????????????????????????????????????!!!!!!!!
@@numbing6305 lots
They did it so the crowd would stop asking for creep cuz they hate the song.

What was the woman screaming at the beginning of Paranoid Android?
I'm so jealous, what a setlist
The best part is when 2+2=5 starts and no one in the crowd is clapping in rhythm
