Please God give me a chance to see their concert at least once in my lifetime
I wish you this will happen. They’re amazing
I hope you get to!
saame. I saw The Smile last year, so about halfway there!
I bloody hope so too!!!!🙏🏻
PLEASE GODDD
2:00:15 I just want someone who'll look at me the same way this girl looks at Radiohead
She is like a girl who is your first love when you are in elementary
Maybe she's thinking "These fuckers are really playing Creep right now. Wow, what a disappointment."
@@Vojife How?

She is sad and happy at same time … just like all there .
Love how Philip Selway is such a great drummer that the band decided to have two of him.
🤣🤣👍🏼
That is a really funny remark! Cheers!
Phil and Clive are masters
😂👌
yeah and then pretend he is one. they wont show the other drummer. talk about vanity...
Every Radiohead fan acts like they're too special for "Creep" until they hear Jonny play that first guitar lick on the chorus
True. The point is not that creep is bad. Most of people only know creep even though It's not one of their best songs (in my opinion). That's why I get mad when everyone say PLAYCREEPLAYCREEP. Youknow..
That also happens when Paul begins to sing...“Hey Jude” Live.
The only reason I didn't like creep was because I heard the backstory to why Yorke hated it, I felt bad that I liked a song he despised so much. It's a great song, and it's grown on me again. I just wish people wouldn't scream for it so much. It's not their best song of course, but it's pretty damn great.
creep is overrated 🤷♀️
@@okaynice_ I fully agree, it's also always the song other artists cover. Its a solid song but definitely does not deserve to be their most famous song or considered their best song by anyone. I use to hate it until I saw it live and found myself singing the whole thing, I was like ok fine
We NEED a Radiohead concert ON DIRECT from their studio in this quarantine. PLEASE!
noerom17 that would be epic
To maintain social distancing, they could each record from their own separate studio.

You meant the team , indeed an amazing work though!!!
He's got this on his cv...
It wasn't Josh, that's for sure
@Mark Green well say that to musicians, actors, dancers, artists, light technicians. They all get awards for doing their job. That's what they're awarding.
they always have the best lights at their shows I've noticed.
2:00:13 What a movie moment. Everyone going crazy in the background and this one girl is just looking at Thom like "you did it you magnificent bastard"
hahaha
Girl is mirin big time. Honestly I've seen Radiohead a few times and had those exact moments as well.
She looks like Aubrey Plaza
This IS the comment. Joy.
That's about how I look amusedly at a pine tree after four shroom caps. Wish that was an everyday gaze...
what to do after the coronovirus passes?

2. repeat

"Thom, you alien-loving basterd."
"Yeah, very funny lads."
"What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here"
Hahaha! Beautifull expression. :-D
“Finally, took ur fcking time to agree to play this bloody song”
Radiohead is a band you don’t even need any drugs or intoxication for what so ever, the music is audio psychedelia. Pure art. You can indulge but it’s not necessary. Just put “A Moon Shaped Pool” on repeat, album is their perfect high water mark.
Idk…. i’m stoned to the gills and idk if it could get any better
sure u don't need it but it does give it that extra ooompff!
You don't need a drug to enjoy them, but they do go great with almost any drug.
IDK, 20 years ago it was my idea of sheer bliss to put the headphones on and non stop Radiohead with a strong smoke and getting lost in their brilliant music. Too old for it now but those were heavenly nights for me : )))

My husband and I got engaged during this concert!
He asked my to marry him and I said yes, and then the hole time we were really high from making the decision (and some other stuff).
Every time we listen to songs from that set we think about that night.
wow!
That's so awesome!
We all should do something like that. I mean, once this COVID thing is over, lol.
That’s fking beautiful thank you for sharing
And?
Ed O'Brien is the most underrated member of the band. His backing vocals often pull a song together at its most important part, and he's an exceptional guitar player.
Especially at 2:04:41
It's wonderful i have chills
Ed is amazing. He's always provided the atmosphere...and then some.
Ahem, *EEEEEEEDDD*
Seriously though, you’re right. Ed is fantastic, the definition of the master effects guitarist.
Great interview with him recently on Adam Buxton's podcast
Didn’t know he’s underrated though
Always thought everybody knew exactly how good he is and how important
There are no passengers in this band. Every one of them is a musician of the highest possible order. They would not be the band thru are without any one of them. This is why the line up hasn't changed in nearly thirty years. Quite simply the best band ever

@@haroinfatherx It's a trash song, for real
Ed O'Brien would go close to the best backing vocalist ever. His voice always harmonises so perfectly with Yorke's and provides such a rich atmosphere. Songs like Reckoner and Ful Stop wouldn't be the same without him

Matt Sovie man I was on that the second it dropped. Loved it
The way Thom ended the show was beautiful. Staying on stage, playing for the audience for a brief intimate session, just him and us; it was sweet and a little emotional. Clearly enjoying the moment, smiling, bringing everyone in close for a minute, and then leaving it off at the culmination with intuitive knowing that we will continue the song with him in our hearts and minds as we all depart, separately, but still together… with love.

Traveled from Finland to this concert. One of the loudest crowds, amazing atmosphere and wonderful people at the front. Used to watch this a lot when it was on RUclips, I think this was one the greatest gigs at AMSP tour.

13:49 You know shit's about to get real good when Johnny gets up from the piano and puts on his guitar, and those 3 guitars together, oh baby, ultimate it-sounds-so-good goosebumps
That part kills me every time, Johnny is amazing..
Of all the magnificent live performances of this solo, this is, in my humble opinion, his most expressive and haunting performance. I have found myself returning to this concert regularly for years just to enjoy and marvel at this minute and a half of highest excellence in musicianship.
Oh yeah, I thought exactly the same, Johnny starting this part and the overall sound of this part, it's all so freaking sexy.
thought the same thing. badass as fuck
Thom's vocals sound so "free" here. It's hard to describe, but it's like he singing without barriers or strain, like he's untensed and opened up. That said, the same heart-tugging emotion delivery is still there in his voice, unchanged.
It's the same with Damon Albarn, no autotune, full emotion and they put their own twist into each song (in comparison to the studio version).
I realised that too. Opera singer here…. In the shows in the late 90’s and throughout the 00’s he was super tense, so many songs of rh are in super difficult ranges plus the transition between registers…when not trained enough by vocal coaches to condition the muscles one gets tense around the shoulder and neck so the larynxs goes up…. No control anymore…. Voices breaks, gets thin and shaky. Either way it’s catches me anyway cause he’s transporting every fucking emotion with his voice.
Sorry for being a smart ass🤓
Flew in for this show, was closer to space than during the 4 hour flight.

This was my first concert EVER!
I had just discovered Radiohead that year, in January or February, and started listening to every song obsessively until it became my favorite band. Then I flew to Berlin to see them.
It was unreal, I couldn't believe they were actually real and blessing my ears in that very moment. When "Burn the witch" started, I burst into tears and cried the whole concert. I've got goosebumps everytime I see or hear about this concert, oooh my god!!!

I've been following them around since 1996, but Berlin was the best gig they've ever done.
Jonny's Bodysnatchers performance is unreal. When Jonny means business, he goes into berserk mode and works his Telecaster like he has a score to settle. Not even halfway through the song, he ruthlessly butchers his d-string (1:16:51), but finishes the job like the pro he is as if nothing had happened.
Please, Mr. Greenwood, if you're reading this, don't ever stop doing something this awesome!!

You lucky thing!👍🏻 I got goosebumps watching karma police. Hope I have the chance to see them one day🙏🏻
Whoever mixed this concert for broadcast deserves an award. I cannot stop playing it, even if I wanted to.
It's insanely good. Notice how he holds the mic at the end of karma police, like he just realises it's the last lyric but he wants to sing more. And then he comes back and the crowd is just tuned to what he plays and sings the end lyric again with him. I mean... Everything about this is legendary and so deeply warm
Ful stop is so underrated
Amazing song.
Ful Stop is one of my favorites by them. I love listening to the different ways they adjust the live EQ in these live performances.
AMSP is among my favourite albums and I never counted Ful Stop as one of my standout tracks but that doesn't mean I didn't like it. Maybe I need to give it another listen, because this live version slaps.
Definitely but nothing beats the live version when Colin goes off with that killer bass.
RADIOHEAD making me self isolate since 1993.
hahaahah
Ha perfect!
This deserves a love button.
Marvellous.
uhg Ed's backup vocals in Reckoner goes so beautifully with Thoms voice. What a beautiful combination. Wish I could have been there for the real thing. Wonderful selection of songs they had for this show!
11.09.2016 - Best day ever.. Thank you, Radiohead. You are the soundtrack to my life. It’s a pleasure to daydream, to disappear completely, to sit down, stand up, to go to sleep and to be there there with you and, honestly, you're all I need.. That will be on my videotape.
“Thank you, everybody. Good night.” ♥️
They’re almost be on our videotapes..
Well, we may stay inside but 69.000 people all over the world were conected just right now....I
Was it really 69
Centipede.
nice
Nice
Just 69 people?
Remember that evening like it was yesterday. Incredible performance and a great crowd. Thank you
I’m a huge Pearl Jam, U2, Peter Gabriel, Massive Attack fan but they pale in comparison to Radiohead. The best band of our era. Period. Untouchable.
They removed this to upload it again lol, I'm not complaining though. I'll get what I can. Definetely will be here for Jonny's reaction when Creep starts.
This is coming from the people that cleared out their entire website as a marketing stunt, and then let people buy In Rainbows for as much money as they wanted to.
Thom's logic exceeds common sense.
Why jonny does that face?
@@mariapaolavessichelli6480 they have not been playing creep for years, they were sick of it after playing it endless times in the 90s.
@@berkayozgenn thank u 😊
buenos aires 2009 gösteriminde chatte radiohead discord serverına çağırmışlardı ama o sırada chat kapandı, senden aşırı biliyomuşsun hissiyatı aldım nolur haklı olayım
1:23:40 - It's great to see that even after playing what is probably thousands of gigs, to quite possibly tens, if not hundreds of millions of people, that in their own quirky ways they still look like they really do enjoy playing live.
That audio quality...Oh my, this is the closest we have ever been to A Moon Shaped Pool From The Basement.
The added guitar part on Burn the Witch makes me wish sooooo bad that was on the OG version. Johnny Greenwood is a BEAST
Hats off to the sound crew and the one running the mixer. One of the best live sessions I have heard with this many guys in play in a large outdoor venue.
Vivaa Méxicooooo y Radiohead también 💖💖💖💖💖
2:00:15 The power of music in one picture
One of the best performances of ANY band, I've ever heard! :)
Tears in my eyes, several times, just listening to it recorded - can't imagine the power there in person!!
how can people can dislike this when it isn't even out?
how can people like this when it isn't even out?
'cause somebody saw them live... Maybe...
@Charles Lee Ray pretentious means that it's trying to impress people without having any skill. I dont see anything pretentious
Charles Lee Ray pretentious comment
Maybe they saw the gig when it was originally uploaded to RUclips. It was taken down quite quickly, as I recall.
I don't know what I'd pay to see them live again now, in 2022. I really don't.
Same thoughts!
I'm so happy I saw them 2 nights in a row on their 2018 tour, and hell I'd pay an arm and a leg to see them for 2 more
In 2023, i would literally give my eyes
@@koi1s98in 2024 too! I'm afraid it won't happen any time soon. But I'll go to see The Smiles, which is a wonderful post-Radiohead project
