Red Hot Chili Peppers is a legendary band that still killin' it with their music then and now, but this concert....i dare to say that this is RHCP at their prime. Anthony's powerful vocals, Flea's crazy bass, Chad's relentless drumming, and John's killer solos. everything is just coming together in this concert.

Happy 20th birthday to this wonderful performance. It’s helped many of us through some dark times. 🎂
20 years later and it’s still a masterpiece! The greatest show of all time 🤘🔥
One of my most favourite memories from being a kid was being at Hyde Park with my dad for their concert and begging him to get me in front of John. He spent the entire concert making sure I was in front of him, and John sat right in front of me to play Under the Bridge on the stage like he does here and I couldn't believe it. I felt like I was in another world watching him play guitar. My dad still brings it up some 16 years later!
indeed, i was in front of him for that song here at this gig. A little bit older than you by the sounds of it but doesn't matter, really powerful none the less!
I was at Hyde park. Didn’t know how great John was until recently. Wish I paid more attention 🤪🙁
My dad also had to make sure I was in front of John! I was 18 and slightly disabled but we did it. :)
That’s gold 😀

When Flea looks over at John for that split-second at 8:37 … there’s such awe, joy, pride, & astonishment in his face at seeing his “little brother” absolutely blow everyone’s mind (including his own) in attendance with his abstract wizardry with a guitar🥲
That drummer don't miss a beat..... PERIOD!!!!!!!!
Hes an animal
he is not an animal
He's the animal.
That drummer is good ol' Chad.
Lars - "Guess I'll just leave then."
He's my favorite but he actually misses on 14:11 14:12. Still brilliant performance as always tho
John is pure, raw talent. His guitar is just an extension of himself; it's like the two are just one, connected being. To think that he could've left us or that voice and those hands could have been permanently damaged is unimaginable. The respect and love I have for that man is endless. What a show.
The world was very lucky he didn't leave us in his house with a needle in his arm

Ive watched this toooo many times.
How can every song be so perfectly performed..
because they are the fucking RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS
John singing "Maybe" was awesome.
My favorite part
There was a really nice moment that was edited out where John stops singing and playing and turns his back to the crowd for a moment in what seemed like embarrassment. He might have been struggling with the vocals perhaps. And then we (the crowd :) ) cheered him on to continue and he turned around again and finished it. I can see why they wanted to cut it but it's a pity as it really was a nice moment between him and the crowd.

Chad Smith is the engine of this band. His drumming is what drives them to perform at peak levels.
Like Kane hey Chad
thats basically what drummers do
I'd say there isn't one specific member that drives the band to the best performance. Each one plays their part. Kiedis with his unique vocals. Flea with his amazing bass skills. Frusciante with his incridible flow. And Chad with his uncomparable drumming skills.
Flea
Chad is like a subwoofer in a 5.1 speaker set
This can fix any emotional problem, but at the same time Johns playing will throw you in an emotional roller coaster
